Logs
We have repaired the cache including installing a new log and contents. We have moved the cache to a better and hopefully drier location a couple of hundred metres up the road.
We found this one today and will still claim it as a find as it hadn't been disabled when we accessed the info last night. A very aptly named cache. Have a couple of nephews that could put this one to good use!! Don't know what was in there but we had a terrible sweet sickly smell on us after handling it. The wet ones we keep in the car did not get rid of it and the smell can still be smelt slightly even hours later. Thanks.
Thanks underadar for the note re maintenance. This sight has been disabled as it was another casualty from the several heavy downpours over the past fortnight. We are a little rushed at the moment and will be repaired after Christmas. Cheers Rubus
The cache container and contents were full of water. The log is very wet and will go mouldy soon. Needs help now. Thanks.
The little approach road to the little reserve was a little boggy, so I parked a little closer to GZ than I normally would. I make a quick find of another imaginative container. I managed to get it open without too much trouble but the splosh-splosh sound was ominous.... Very, very wet. Very, very smelly. Will get very, very mouldy in the near future. Needs help very, very soon.
Found it right where it should be. The only thing is its rusted shut. And when I picked it up it said "slush, slush" Tftc.
Out on a night time caching run to clean up the Yan Yean area. The forecast was for 60 - 100mm so I was expecting to get wet tonight. Took a little while to locate the cache. Signed the log and replaced the cache before running back to the car for cover. Thanks for the hide.
8th find for the day with C@H (CovertHypnosis) on my biggest caching day out.. Easy find on what I will discover to be a great series of well thought out hides.. TFTC Rubus, loved all of these from start to finish.. SL Find #537
What a great cache container. An easy find but such inspiration. We had decided to give the Poles Apart cache a miss (being a multi and it was getting dark) but when we looked at the probable distance we knew we had to give it a go. Good to see the innovative containers are being used up here, first with Homerjay and now with rubus, it makes caching worthwhile. Thanks again rubus.
A very original cache container was found at gz before we headed off the gather information for the closeby multicache upon returning we noticed Alansee arriving with a bit of a chin wag we headed off again in search of more cache's.
Thanks for the cache rubus

Outstanding container rubus, you have outdone yourself. A nice easy find on the way home after the Back to the Beginning - 10 years of Vic caching! event cache....TFTH...SL....TNLN

Found at 11:06 along with º on our way to the 10 years of vic caching event. Unfortunately we couldn't do much about the dirt bike muggles though I don't really think they noticed what we were up to. Thanks rubus!
Drove up to GZ and there was a familiar car there. Sure enough Swaggies and Mr Jibblets were on the job and the cache was an easy find, thanks Rubus.
We were a bit tired of the long boring drive to get there but a clever cache made it worthwhile. I randomly chose 3 caches around Hurstbridge so this one seemed a long drive to get to and not much scenery at the GZ. (sorry if we sound a bit negative but the geokids were getting restless). The contents were wet so I replaced the cliplock bags with new ones(took some with me after yesterdays experience with wet caches). The lid of the plastic container is broken which lets in the water. I noticed that the bottom of the cache is siliconed on so I turned the whole thing upside-down which should keep the water out hopefully. grilledbear.
Great unique hide. Was damp inside, tipped water out and made sure internal container was still upright.
Decided to finish off the Ridge road string after our shortened effort last weekend.
I never tire of these things

Thanks Rubus! We enjoyed seeking out your caches in company with linearZZ. As reported, the contents have got a bit damp in the recent rain. TFTC
While Thetaz and LZZ(f) walked off into the distance, yours truly was told to fetch the car . By the time the group was rejoined at 3:30pm they were well into it. Another clever design but it collects water and the contents were rather damp (the various plastic bags all seemed to have holes ). Attempts to provide better sealing may or may not help. TNLN Thanks Rubus for another interesting cache.

Found with RudiC and friends on an afternoon out, another awesome cache. Lots of evidence of Kangaroo's about but didn't see any until further down the road where we spotted deer and kangaroo's right by the roadside.
Found @ 1240 after a quick search on a slight detour to visit friends in Whittlesea. Appreciate the effort that has been put in to the cache hide.

Found on an epic (for me) days caching with bogonghazy. This was the 19th for the day, but only my 14th as I had done 5 previously.
I was definitely tired by the time we reached this one. Picked it up on the way to complete Poles Apart. A great series of caches along this strech of road.

I was with my dad ( kentucky trio) and i was with my friend (highspeed 700) and we were on our way to nicklousville and this cache popped up in our gpses and so we went and go the cache. this was a very nice cache . TFTC TN LN SL.
Great cache container, a couple of horse riding muggles about, but we still found it without too much hassle. TFTC
Another great Rubus container.
The great weather made searching for this and the nearby "Poles Apart" a pleasure. I almost wish I hadn't found the cache so fast so that I could have spent more time out of the car.
TNLN.
Cheers Rubus. You teach me more about creative cache containers every time I do one of your caches.

An interesting outer cache container, and a nice piece of manufacturing. Easy quick find. Thanks for the cache, Rubus.
This was cache # 14 of 16 for the day, on a nice day out caching. Another great hide that I really enjoyed finding. I took a closer look at the optunias growing close by. My thanks to rubus for the cache.

A lot of work went into this cache. I had been mispronouncing the word in my head but when I found the cache it was all clear.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks rubus for this cache experience. A nice concept cache.

I was trying to guess what the container for this one might entail, but could only come up with some sleepy sort of person or animal but, on spotting the container, it all fell into place - very amusing indeed.
TNLN
Thanks yet again Rubus - the 6 caches of yours I did today were all really excellent and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a quality day's caching in a pleasant setting. It really contrasted with a few of the caches I did later in the day in the inner suburbs.

We found this cache at 1:30pm as the 9th of 28 on our Australia Day Bash 2010. Another cute little hide. Thanks from D, HA, H & A B-A.

This was the second of my Christmas shopping break cache finds, although I was halfway through the nearby multi while doing this one. This took a while before I found the stash and that was only after widening my search pattern. Eventually, I found the cool cache container at 11:55 about 10-12 metres north of the posted coordinates. Once again, I've added in the coordinates I measured for reference.
TNLNSL, although our 100 finds geocoin had a visit to mark our 1900th find . Thanks again rubus.

Well here I am three weeks later and I found myself driving past on the way home. The cache was similar to what I was expecting and I think the workmanship is very clever. It took me a bit of searching to find it but got there in the end.
Thanks for another fun container,
