Lots of DNF's, owner not logged into the site in many, many months. Might be time to let this one die?
As per previous logs we didn't find this one. Looks like it may have gone walk-about. Cache should perhaps be disabled. Rob & Jess VK2GOM
Thanks for the confirmation note, Josh. I also had a phone call from a friend after I'd given up and was on my way back to the Blue Mountains, telling me the same thing. This is the reason why DNFs are really important. Otherwise the CO would just think that no-one had visited the cache since last November. Whereas everyone had been searching and searching and just not finding the little . . .
Checked up while nearby. Yep, its gone from where I found it back in November. Needs replacing
Looked and looked and looked. No where to be seen! We will be back. (searched with Malkia)
I had such a long look around this place that finally one of the tennis court employees by the name of Scott drove around and asked me what I was doing. He seemed like quite a nice guy -- and so he proved -- and I gave him the usual quick lecture on the geocaching hobby and its benefits.
He told me that people were constantly searching the GZ area in recent weeks, with six people looking around high and low only yesterday, and so he decided to ask someone what was up.
(Sure sounds like a lot of geocachers aren't logging their DNFs, doesn't it? Last logged 'find' was in November 2010.)
Apparently Scott's nephew had done some wilderness geocaching not long ago, and Scott thought it was a great idea. He helped me search and took me inside the nearest tennis court to give me a different 'angle' on the likely hiding spot. Finally, he climbed up and checked the roof, even though I assured him that the cache wasn't up there!
Anyhow, by then I'd really looked in all the 'likely spots' several times -- including up high -- and had to assume that muggling was a highly possible scenario.
Nevertheless, it was fun to run into someone so enthusiastic and perhaps Scott will soon take up geocaching himself.

2nd attempt. Now knowing what a nano is, the wife a I took the dog for a quick walk. Well it was a quicker walk than expected. Found this cache within a minute! Whoa! smallest cache we've seen. Signed the find on the very new log. TFTH
the wife and I check this one out, we were stumped, walked away without a find...... we will be back!!
Littlebub and I were in the area so replaced the old log with a spanking new one!!
I thought the courts might be crowded on such a warm day in the holidays, but only one court was in use. Quick find for my 10 year old - I was just starting to look around & think about where the most likely hiding spot would be when his eagle eyes spotted it & retrieved it. I couldn't find my pen, but luckily the kids had left some pencils in the car. Maybe a blunt pencil is not the best for writing on a nano log, but I managed it.
Only space left for about 3 more people to sign, so a new log might be needed soon.
Thanks for a quick, simple find.

Sevabo found it before me. good hide spot. no muggles at this court phew!. SL. Thanks LittleBub
the muggles were busy with tennis balls found it with everlasting. thanks for the hunt. SL
Took awhile to find and 10 min talking about tennis with a worker. But grabbed and logged.

Spent a while looking for it without success. Then as I said, that's it, let's move on, geodaughter said "I think I found it". I've found a couple of nanos in Melbourne before, but this is geodaughter's first, so good effort by her. Muggles set up residence at the location just after we found it, so had to replace it later. TFTC
Found this one with Semikosher and quarterpipe on the way back from a weekend in the mountains caching.
it was getting late and the lights were out, maybe that made it a quick find, flashing quarterpipes high power torch around the shadow gave it away.

We found No Sneakers, Just Sneaking (GC2132Z), our 6th of 6 finds and our 1259th overall find.
This one took a little long than it should have.... it had to be where we found it but might need a new set of glasses.
SL. Thanks for the cache, LittleBub.

Nice and easy. Have been here a few times now but muggles very close. Today fairly quiet with only muggles about 50 metres away playing on a nearby tennis court. TFTC
I was on my way down to Penrith today to do the rounds on students at Work Experience- Picked this one up quickly on the way. Theres a fairly new log now. TFTF
Very sneaky! We loved it! There were some players on the courts, but they ignored us, so this was an easy nano to find!
We replaced the overfull log with a cut down piece of one. It fits - hope it works.

When I got there muggles had deposited all their gear and wear just nearby, do I go for it or not?, what the heck just walked up and grabbed the cache and no body seemed to care. There is no room left on the log I just left my initials. Thanks
Found this with my partner and son, waited till night so no activity around, also like other posts say needs new log
Very Nano! Thanks for the Cache! some of us local cachers found this one tonight at 10:30pm, so very little to no muggle activity at that time of night and also it was a public holiday! Thanks again!
After spening the day at the regatta centre I had a couple of hours spare before dinner and headed out for some caching without any prior planning. After negotiating the traffic I arrived at this cache to start the evening off but a muggle was sitting right at GZ so I couldn't search, maybe next time.
Found on a break in our poker game out here for the day, on a quick visit to Sydney for the weekend.
A nice hide & luckily muggles were scarce today, and it only took a few minutes to find.
TFTC,
Roostaman.

Did this one just after work. Only had a five minute window before I had to make it back for a train, but managed to find it. Scary spiders, but just leave them alone.
Another Nano!, knew this was gonna be tricky, found the right hut. looked high looked low... looked high, the Sgt.rios- from a better vantage point looked at the same place i was currently looking... hmmm took a few steps back and... there you go. i hate it when u have checked an area well, trying not to look out of place of coarse then from a slightly different angle it becomes as plain as the nose on ur face lol TFTC another nano in the bag
excellent hide took a while and sneaking is required. found it as soon as gps decided to rejoin us lol
an easy find but one of the muggles who works at the tennis courts looked a bit suspicous as we took a while to roll up the log sheet.
AHHH I hate nanos, well except for this one.had me guessing for a bit read the clue sort of knew what I was looking for then it finally hit me standing at the right angle, the right time of the day now allow for daylight saving time a little left, sun casting a shadow through the magical staff should point me straight to it........... nope that didn't work gues it's back to checking it all from one end to the other oh look there it is of course, now why didn't I see that when I first got here.. I still hate nanos.. oh and had the place to my self this afternoon...It actually took me nearly as long to roll up the log as it did to find..

We are not good at micros but today it’s our day. The park just across the driveway is a very nice area to walk around. TFTC / TFTH / SL
Took a little searching, but the cache revealed itself like a light bulb above my head. Wasn't aware of this tennis complex in Penrith or the Quota building next door.
A nice hide - took about 5 minutes, but thankfully there were no tennis players thanks to the rain. TFTC!
out with the oompas nice easy find with not a soul in sight l/n/tn/s/l thanks for the cache

The wet conditions meant that the courts were empty but this devious little critter is not easy to spot. I must admit I glanced at it but it did not spot it. As is the case once you see it you wonder how you missed it. Thanks for placing a cache in this location.
Found 7:45am, with a little drizzle this morning tennis courts were empty and found the cache quickly. Thanks.
Grrrrrrr....another micro that was surrounded by muggles!
Oh well no pain no gain, so I soldiered on, and told them I was playing an internet game, not that they seemed too interested!
Thanks for the chance to dodge around the muggles, I think....

Insider knowledge made this pretty easy, (was with Littlebub when she placed it!!)
Did some early morning streaching before grabbing this one and heading off for some shopping.

Found on a cache hunt trip leading to the big 1000th find tomorrow at the Christmas Event (#966 almost there). As you say there is only a number of spots too hide this one and I think we almost looked in all of them when GK1 found it.
We would like to thank all our fellow cachers for the experiances we have had over the past year and for their time and effort within the sport / game.
We are now planing for the Oz Wagga Wagga Mega Event (April 2-5, 2010) GC1Y5R. It looks like they have recently hit the MEGA requirements, and we can’t wait to be part of it.
Merry Christmas
Happy and safe caching.
Stop Revive (or is that Cache) and Survive
Team Casho
P.S. We did it. As this was not logged untill the 13th we can now say that we hit out target with our 1000th find being logged to coinsiding with the event yesterday.
Thanks to all who have been part of our adventures.

Oh this one had us going for about 20mins until finally we spied it.
A nice spot of caching therapy after completing some (crazy) Christmas shopping nearby.
TFTC LittleBub - Great stuff!

The cursed nano raises its ugly head again. Actually, this was a pretty straightforward find. I felt like a game of tennis afterwards! TFTC.
The last one for our trip out west. A quickish find- lucky it wasn't Saturday I'd say! TFTC!
Many a time I've driven past here and this place has been packed. Luckily today wasn't one of those days. We soon ahd the cache in hand. Thanks
Signed log. Such a small roll but places for many more finds.
No sightings of spiders to record.

A very important lesson learnt, ALWAYS have a pen or pencil ready. Found the little sucker but did NOT have pen/pencil to record my find.
I will be back..............

When I placed this one I saw no spiders at all, but after receiving a few reports of the gargantuan levels of the crawly beasts, I decided to add them as an attribute. Alas, there is no spider option (?) so put in a dangerous area option instead. Let me know if this works for you fellow cachers!!!
I'll take FTF honours on this one Thanks! I thought I was quite smart getting here quite early in the morning, I was surprised to see the Tennis addicts were here quite a bit earlier than me however.
Thanks for the cache Little Bub

Was pumped to see a new cache pop up near by so thought to do an awesome first to find. Once at site i gotta say spiders! everywhere! While i was busy searching for the little thing the other half kept pointing out things like "wow, thats a big one" and "that one looks heaps protective of its egg sacks, oh.. its a red back". Very thankful that she came along as i would not have found it by any rate. My spirits were slightly dimished to find ruffasgutts had snuck another FTF and that my dreams of first had dropped back to 3rd place.

Oh the heat!! Easy find in seconds. What? No pen in the cache? People seem to like to leave their balls all over the place here.
Cheers
