As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 14 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

We visited this cache during our trip through out New Zealand!
With our rental car, we explored the north island for 12 days.
NZ is a beautiful country and we really enjoyed our time here.
We hope to return one day and explore a little bit more!
Day 8 - Auckland to Bay of Islands
Today the weather was pretty bad, it rained all day.
Since we had to travel north anyway, we tried to use the short periods without rain to find some caches on the way, we managed to visit some interesting locations. The coast up north is amazing, although it should be much nicer with a better weather.
This one we didn't find .
Thanks for the cache.
Greetings from Portugal.

Tried twice but could not find ! Will not give up will return to try again and retrieve the travelling 2cent coin
Out in the area to pick something up today and we needed to drop off a trackable in the area to complete its mission (to be picked up by 3 wise monkeys nz). So, needed to make sure we picked a cache that would fit a trackable and so came here to this walk with its beautiful views. No one around while we made the find, signed the log book and replaced. Thanks for the hide ukexpat!
Due to the previously logged DNF we lacked a little enthusiasm in finding this one after we did not come up with the cache straight away. Decided to check the logs which refocused our search back in the place we 1st checked and soon had the cache in hand. Great little walking track with fantastic views of the coastline to the West & North. We ventured down the steps to the shoreline below for a paddle & explore. Thanks for showing us this spot. TB dropped.
Easy find, perhaps a bit too easy. We were going to leave a TB here but decided it was too visible to muggles. The camo need some work on it.

Great fun looking - long grass, flax bushes - the treasure hunt has started
On a gorgeous autumn day, the geodogs and I went for a wander along the cliff walk, while the boys were down at the point catching us a fresh schnapper for our tea. Yumm!
It was lovely walk, and a fairly quick find, after a short search. Tftc

Enjoyed a BBQ with friends in Gulf Harbour and decided to head out during the last sun hours to get some geocaching done. Searched for a while for this one. TFTC
Who would have known about this cliff top reserve ! Thanks for bringing us here ! I was a bit at a loss for where to look , but my geo mate soon rummaged deep and located iit ! TFTC
Thanks for bringing us to this hidden little reserve ! Great views on this lovely day. Thanks.
On arrival at the cache site I was greeted with a pest control sign of very recent signs of installation and a plastic pest trap (for rodents etc). It appears that the local authority mifgt have replaced the cache! What a pesty thing to do!!!!
Out helping tidy up a friends garden. To relax afterwards took the nice walk along the cliff top. Thanks for the cache
Great views along this cliff top path. Found it after a few minutes rummaging in the grass.
The second one of the day and another great little find along this cliff-top walkway. Stunning views accentuated by a beautiful day. Didn't take long to find at all - used my gut instincts and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for bringing me here! TFTC!
Out and about for a spot of afternoon caching in the sun. I decided that two caches along a cliff time walk were the perfect excuse to get out of the car. Took a couple of minutes of contemplation then I came up with the goods. All good here. Cheers for the cache placement!
Checked cache for owner -it's still in its place although you may have to burrow through some of the grass. The cache hasn't been found for a while and the grass has grown a bit thick.
Geocaching with 16 newbies for Duke of Edinburgh silver exploration.
Lovely walk and lovely view, despite the patches of heavy downpour!
Took us a long, long time to find we were almost ready to give up.

Working out this way for the week, so great opportunity to grab a few caches at the end of the peninsula that fit for geo-license.
Was walking along enjoying a Tui singing and trying to find it in a bottle brush tree. Had passed the tree when I looked a GPSr - I had passed the cache while distracted, turned around and spotted a place I was sure was GZ. TFTC

I couldn't have been standing in the 'right' spot; no joy finding the cache today.
Nice and quick find along the walkway, although had to avoid the gardening muggle nearby

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Decided to spend the day caching out Whangaparaoa. A pleasant walk along the cliff top and spotted the cache immediately at GZ - just got it out squeezing trough the gap!

10:45 am. Finally getting around to logging finds from our New Zealand trip. This was our first find, just a few hours after arriving in Auckland. TNLN. Thanks! # 2594
Good hiding place a few muggles giving us odd looks as we whistled and looked skyward tftc
Have you lost something? No I am trying to find something! Aye? I haven't lost anything...I am just looking for something...Muggle leaves with dog. Sometimes it's easier to confuse than explain. Thanks for this one.
Great spot, finally found a cache large enough for a trackable, left "Here Comes Santa"
never knew this walkway way here, found some local lads looking for Kina. found access thru the grass reserve
Went back twice, first time went in complete opposite direction thanks to wayward GPS, second time found successfully by Miss 4. Great place, good cammo, excellent find
Easy find thanks. Picked up DDRAMS' Sextant Geocoin and will move on, but have to report Euro Racer - Ferrari 458 as missing from the cache?
Easy find, even though I didn't even find this one. It's a beautiful view from here.
More of a DID NOT ATTEMPT as we could not find access way. There was one large grassed area but without walkway or other public signage we did not want to risk the possibility of crossing private property. Went up and down obvious street, but unable to find any sign of public access.
A waypoint for start of trail would be appreciated.

NZ11. After finding the track down to the shore it was a nice walk over to the cache. Thanks.

Love the walkway along the cliffs here. Often use it as part of my running route when I am feeling fit. Big storm here today so the sound of the waves crashing into the cliffs below was cool. Nice camo job but a quick find as the cache was in a good spot if you have that geosense turned on. TFTC
Glad I found the entrance to this bit of reserve as it wasn't that obvious. I bet the locals are glad about that too . T4TC - M@
#676 A monster day caching in TWS land. 9/19. Very pleasant walk. quick find. Nice Views. SL. TFTC.

Had walked along here yesterday with friends but didn’t have GPS with us. So back today with a quick find. TFTC
After a nice and sunny walk on army bay we found this one with some help from our friend!
A pleasant late afternoon walk and cute cache. All were chuffed to find the tiny, hidden beach at the bottom of the stairs a bit further along.
