Most on display coach we've found. Nice spot but could be hidden better, have attempted to do so. Cache is soaked through, may need some maintenance. Left a bauble. TFTC
Poured water out of the cache containere. The log itself is a soggy wad of paper and even an ink jel pen would only leave slight indentations. Needs urgent attention
Never been down that rutted track that passes for a road. Teally glad it was bone dry today otherwise I would probably still be stuck there somewhere. I was there rather late in the day so did not have tome to spend exploring his area further. Maybe another day TFTC marshall's Geelong
Spent the day in the area caching, no work, phone off, emails off, just exploring and hunting for boxes. Hoping for over 100 today. TFTC log is too wet to sign
My new to geocaching friends Geokel & Geoandy had not been geocaching before, and this was the perfect first find cache for them! Big Jeep Brutus enjoyed the bumpy ride to get there too! TFTC!
My friends Kelly and Andy had not been geocaching before, and this was the perfect first cache for them to find! Now they are hooked! TFTC
Sooty, found this cache with Deshut three or four weeks ago and forgot to log it. Interesting spot. Never been here before
Cleaning up a few caches in the area with Neville_devil today. We parked in the parking area made the short walk to find a good sized cache. A nice quick easy find TFTC
A lovely autumn afternoon and, despite having lived in Leopold for 48 years, l had never been down this end of Whitehorse Rd, so thanks for getting me down to this spot. Not that I would venture down after good rain. However today access to gz was most enjoyable, and we soon found this good sized cache. Any cache this size gets a favourite from me, cos l love big caches. Collected 2 TBs , one a US girl scout one and the other was Wookiee the Puppy. I dropped off Alvin the Alligator, cos he wants to go to swampy caches, and this sure would be at certain times.

HAPPY NEW YEAR. I didn't have a big one last night as I had work on today but after the boss had a late start, he was good enough to let me go early. So why go home when I can grab some caches which I haven't had the chance to do much of recently. I parked the geo vehicle at the end of a dry road thankfully and found my self at the cache area. Last time I tried this one, my car got almost bogged and was chock full of mud and I couldn't even get close. Good time of the year to do this one. Quick find once at co-ords. Stamped and returned as found.
[blue]Thanks for this trad cache, Marshall's Geelong. [^]
Log and container in good condition.

Out today getting some caches in Leopold to keep my streak alive. This was the 1st of 4 caches. We had 0 DNFs. We arrived on Whitehorse road, going on angles and side to side. Parked the car and headed to GZ. to I arrived at GZ and after a quick search, the decent sized cache was in hand. Thanks Marshall's Geelong for a fun cache. There were no trackables in the cache. Had an absolute ball on the approach here. Bouncing along the road and spinning in the ruts. Drove all the way to the gate as well, which is always a bonus. Hopped out of the car and I was halfway to the cache when I realised I didn't have a pen. There should be one in there....shouldn't there [?][?] I better run back and grab one, turned out to be a wise decision. [^][^] A nice big container made for an easy find. TFTC Marshall's Geelong.
Headed to Geelong and surrounds with Bogonghazy and Tess to clear up a few puzzles and challenges that we didn't get during our last visit.
BH did an absolutely superb job of manouvering down the track. I could almost see the sweat on his brow as the car slid sideways and then straightened again. Eventually made it to the end, made the short walk and found the large container. Now to get back down the track without getting bogged. I could see BH was a little apprehensive but we managed to get out by driving on the grass. Only a couple of slides and we were on firmer ground. Just as well we were in the Kluger today and not the corolla. Thanks for the adventure Marshall's Geelong

Headed to Geelong for the second Friday in a row with Tess the geodog and Sorceysal to see if we could complete a couple of challenges, and grab a few more caches in this cache rich town.
This was a bit of an adventure as the 2wd Kluger decided to ignore my steering manouvres, and started twisting sideways a couple of times on the greasy track. Thankfully it behaved and straightened in time before dissappearing into one of the deep ruts. A quick find at GZ, and then hold my breathe as we tried the return journey. A safer route on the grass, dodging some huge holes, and we were back on the bitumen.
Thanks to Marshall's Geelong for the adventure, and a great site for a cache. Adding to the faves, cheers

Sneaky find on the way too leopold with frog_lady, her little kia had a great time getting down the road!
Found with JaminAppleford after a big week in the Otways. Very muddy down this way when we found it.

I'm staying at my dads place in Leopold for a few days so picking up a few random caches that are out there for the pickings.
Made the muddy drive down today in the GeoRav and walked the last 100m for an easy find at GZ.

TFTC!! Been trying to get this one but when I went it was full of duck hunters. Got there no problem and no hunters this time Good hide and everything was in good shape.
Found It while out on a drive on a winters day with geo kids in tow after a short walk the cache was soon in hand and with the log signed we moved onto the next one. Thanks Marshall's Geelong for the cache
I have driven pass this road many times but never been down it. It is great to see some country even though it is close to Geelong. Thank you for placing this cache.
Had lots of fun driving down the track to this hide, a bit of slip and slide made it exciting. We encountered a pair of duck shooters at the gate and had a quick chat. I reckon at first they might have thought we were protesters but after explaining what we were up to they were cool with us being there. A nice area and we also picked up at TB to continue on its travels. TFTC Marshall's Geelong.
Found the cache it was in a nice secluded area so a good spot for our travel bug to go
Found the cache it was in a nice secluded area so perfect to drop off travel bug CAXY6R
Easy but well hidden. Wouldn't drive to this in winter and without a 4wheel drive.
Easy drive in the dry a liitle clearance needed for a big dip in the road but otherwise all good can see it being very muddy walking out to the cache but dry atm tb wasn't to be found , took nothing left toy cricket tftc
Nice little spot not to sure access to parking spot would suit some cars in wet weather
Our second find of the day and one which has waited far too long! After a successful find at another nearby cache, it was decided that Geohubby and Geoboy #2 would take the Geo6E and drive round whilst Buckleysbabe investigated the "land" route..
Having been in this general area before, there was no surprise at the rather squishy conditions, but the need to circumnavigate drainage channels and limbo under barbed wire and electric fences certainly added an unexpected degree of difficulty - fortunately there was no-one around to watch except the cows and Buckleysbabe was finally able to approach GZ from the correct side of the fence to make an easy find.
The Geoboys were already in attendance, having spotted the hide themselves but waited until the expert arrived [^]. In the meantime, the Geokid learnt his second salutary lesson of the day, this time concerning the relationship between fencing wire and the flow of electrons .
Thanks Marshall's Geelong for bringing us to this bit of the lake which we had not seen before .

Found @1406
Had to walk in to this one as there was no way the wet muddy track and our vehicle were going to get along with each other. Quickly found the large cache in very picturesque area. Took Keep Smiling TB to continue its travels.
Left connect 4 game.
SL Thanks for the cache Marshall's Geelong.

Grabbed this one on Sunday with my sister. My little Saab, as much as it likes to think it is sometimes, is no 4WD! I should have read the recent logs. Aha. Oh well. We got there. And back. Such a big container! So well presented/hidden. Bit depressing to only find 2 very small swaps and a log in there. I just wanted to fill it myself but didn't have much on me. Was a bit of fun then Mum's house bound for a yummy dinner. Thanks a lot for bringing us here and the cache!
A good sized cache in a great area. Nice work but the necessity of getting to work precluded further exploration... Plenty of feathers and down where the car was parked! Thanks.
Love the location away from playgrounds, shops, houses, main roads etc...... Picked up TBs others visited. Make it a FAV
Sorry for the lare log catching up on some logging for 2013 found this one came here twice once in the rain and decided to stay dry came back later and a short stroll later had the cache TFTC
This was a nice find while out for a Saturday drive . Grabbed the TB and dropped off a TB and Geo coin TFTC
2nd attempt at this one, once again did not feel safe as we spotted a 4WD close by and there was evidence of duck shooting in this area. Maybe come back after the season has finished.
Couldn't believe we met farmer muggles on our attempt at this one. Decided it best to return another day rather than blow our cover.
Who knew what a great tonic a little geocaching could be after day surgery? Even if you're heading to this cache in a tiny Nissan Micra rental! All we have to say is - we are SO glad that the track was not wet, OR muddy, or even more pitted than it currently is. Although, who knew that the Micra was such an indominitable little 4WD when needed (just without the 4WD!)? At any rate, we got to the lake full of chuckles and thoroughly enjoyed being introduced to this location. Another little hidden gem! GZ was nice and straightforward. Container in very good condition, and easily accessed. Log signed, swapped Tropical Turtle TB (figured it would be in its element here!) for geocoin, and cache returned. Thanks a bundle for bringing us out here, Marshall's Geelong. May never have come out here, otherwise, and that would've been a shame! Very much appreciated. Cheers!

This Labor Day long weekend marked a camping trip to Geelong for a gallivant around the countryside picking up a number of caches (69 to be exact). Unfortunately we couldn’t foresee the weather and with temperatures soaring into the high thirties, caching took a back seat between 11am and 8pm. This did provide us with an opportunity to rest up and do some night caching around the areas.
After setting up the tent and camp site after a gruelling 3 hour trip from Endeavour Hills to Geelong on Friday, we grabbed a bite to eat, then hit the road for a couple of hours grabbing a few caches around the Belmont area, even seeing a guy night flying an electric aeroplane, all lit up with LED’s looking like a UFO.
Saturday saw us caching out onto the Bellarine Peninsular towards Leopold in the morning before seeking refuge back at the caravan park pool, before once again venturing further out to Drysdale into the wee hours of the morn.
After a sleep in on Sunday, we made our way to the Steampacket Gardens to have a look around, also grabbing a couple of caches before heading to Melbourne to see the Storm play their first game. After a great dinner in Victoria St, we took the opportunity to have a great caching run winding from Laverton to Eynesbury across to Balliang then back down to Geelong once again finishing up around 2am.
Monday we packed up the camp site before venturing to do the fabled Mystery of the Fyansford Treasure Horde cache, which was also our 700th find!!
We headed down the road and parked at the gate and wandered across to GZ to discover the cache. Swapped TB's.
We want to thank the CO’s for placing the caches, we had a blast finding such a variety of different hides.

It's a nice time of year to do this cache - our 2WD managed the track without any issues. Found the cache without any issues and safely tucked it away after dropping off the survivor TB. TFTC
This was our 7th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 11:54
So this now makes our total find count 5832.

Thanks for placing a large cache, even if it is a little empty at the moment.
After finding over 5800 caches it is really sad to note that the trend of placing small caches (without swaps) is increasing. While nanos and eclipse tins have their place in an urban environment these, along with 200ml Sistemas, seem to be the norm these days even out in bush areas. It made us feel really glad to find a large, kid friendly cache here.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Under 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Anti Stress Kit
Thanks Marshall's Geelong for the hunt today.

#6 on our list today. Dry and dusty down here today. Straightforward find. Grandsons swapped a couple of bits with a wombat key ring. SL TFTC and Happy New Year. cloudglider
The cache was found as part of a day trip to the Bellarine Peninsula with abl973. After slowly making our way to GZ, we made our way past the buzzing bees and added our names to the logbook. Thanks for the cache.
This was found with my caching friend Square Pegs on a day spent exploring (and offroading) the Bellarine Peninsula before returning to Melbourne. It was a great day and we scored a variety of other caches as well visiting areas I've never been to which is what I like about caching. Thanks to the CO for bringing me here today.
Found with Timmo bit slippery and slidey! Great place to do some bird watching good effort for camo. Big box but pretty empty
Wasn't too sure just where I was heading with this one. AT the end of the raod another car was parked and I was apprehensive - it was getting late. The owner turned out to be a fisherman and took no notice of me.

Just over a year ago I drove in here nearly bogging my car in the wet conditions only to find the cache missing.
It is back again now and with a 4wd in dry conditions this cache was a soda.
Nice spot to come to and a good short stroll to the big container

Although the gate post had a lock and chain the gate was open so we were able to drive a bit closer to GZ for a quick find.
No swaps made today.
