Several previous logs talk or broken containers and missing logs- no CO intervention as yet and after my recent effort, wondering if the whole lot is now missing. Can CO please check and maintain?
Site around GZ has been cleared. Possibly disposed of or lost? Been a while since a find was claimed.
I found this bad boy late last year and it needed some maintenance. It still needs some help but there is now a log. This is my 99th logged find - almost to 100 yay. TFTC.
I like the maths!
No trouble with the hide as it was out in the open.
Tried to hide it under something.
Left geocaching note and signed the back of it. (in bag)
Thanks for the maths!

Like the last two geocachers have said, this cache needs a new container. The current one is cracked and appears to be heat affected. In addition the log is no where to be found and hence neither is the required equation for the next geocache in the series.
Found it but no joy, the chache is broken and the swapables scattered but no log to be found, therefore no clue to the next step. Put it back to together as best as possible, but needs maintenance. Will be back when it is repaired to continue the story. TFTC. #82.
Did the first one of this series quite a while ago so decided to get this one today while driving past. Got the correct waypoint first go wrote the equation down for the next one. At least not much traffic today. Now have to try and remember how to do some more maths.
1010 GAFF1 Had come down to Newcastle from Taree to spend some of Fathers Day with the older son, but he had slept in after our introductory night caching time last night.
While I had been hoping to get a few of the Maths Issues caches (from being encouraged by Woodbats at Lithgow) when I saw the equation for the third cache my mind balked at the mental gymnastics. Will have to do some research before heading back again.
Through: Coins – ... hours have gone-coin, Krtik’s 250, 3Bros, Lighthouses, Bridges, B2B, Baa, Neigh and Oink, Bear Bait TB, and SummerLovin521 TB, and trackable shirt.
Think I left a short pencil there, or maybe I just sharpened the one there.

We liked the area around GZ but forgot to get the next equation, so that's our first job next visit to Maitland. Thanks for the puzzle and hide.
Out on a day of caching with dalsmit and spikeymikey and after working this out ages ago it was good to finally cross it off the list

Always good to use some maths, thanks Team Woodbats for a good cache (& series, hopefully!)
TFTC found this afternoon after abit of a look when some guy pulled up in hes car and ask what we were doing. trying not to act obvious we said we were checking out the veiw. he noticed we had a gps in our hands, he smiled and said "oh, your playing the gps game". he laughed and looked down and said look here. so i walked over and looked down and there it was!. i laughed and didnt know what to say. i said thanks and he hopped in his car and waved while driving off down the road back to hes house bout 200m down the road. he must of thought we were up to no good. [:p]
got caught out by the land owner today, tried to play innocent but the gps gave it away lol.
Reperio at 1425. On to the second cache in this series, and took this one to work to solve during lunchtime. Expected there to be more than one WP to visit being a multi, but went to the coords I had, and viola! Wasn't much room however to park, but being so wet today, I only had to contend with one passing car. The next equation will get me thinking a bit as I haven't done these since school.
Gratias.
Gratias.
Was wanting to do a few of this series for a long while but maths isn't my strong point so i struggled with working out the sums.
I happened to mention last night to a work mate about what his maths was like and he reckoned he was pretty good with maths. I printed out the sums for hime and left them with him for a while. Later on he come back to me with some numbers but i doubted his ability so headed off today to the corresponding coordinates with not much confidence. I owe hime an apology for doubting him as he was spot on.
Was looking in the wrong spot for a few minutes which led to my track suit pants being full of prickles. But as i was pulling some of the prickles out of my dacks i spotted the cache....my work mate was spot on again.
SL TFTC Left my calling card.

Mrs Burners again proved that I can do maths. Must be channeling my old maths teacher. A quick find at gz, first place we looked. Interesting puzzle cache, thanks guys
We solved the maths and found the cache. We were slowed down by a friendly farmer trying to move a herd of cows near GZ. He asked if we were treasure hunters. NO...just taking photos. We didn't want to get into a discussion about the game as we were keen to find the container and leave the scene ASAP. Container was well hidden. Great concept. SL TFTC

Only took a couple of minutes to solve the math's problem and get the co-ords for the cache and thought that it would be as easy as the first in the series.
It took about 10 minutes to find it once I arrived at GZ as the cache was quite settled into its hide and had become half buried. Once it was found the required equation was copied down, log signed and returned for the next finder.
Now to work out the next one........It looks to be a bit more of a challenge.

Our 4660th overall find.
Armed with this and three other possible locations I can believe we got it right straight up! Co-ords were spot on and we eventually made the find once we opened our eyes!

#4704 Found this cache as part of the Rats, Steeba & FarmerFrentzen blitz on the Port Stephens area. We managed to solve this one and were looking in a likely spot but nothing was appearing. eventually the cache was found and having a proper look.
Thanks
Thanks
Found on a mammoth day's caching of 124 caches in 17 hours around the Maitland and Port Stephens area with The Rats and Farmer Frentzen.
Finding the cache was much more complicated than the maths. We were in the right spot all along but it took some persistent searching to uncover the cache. Thanks!

Found during a 17 hour caching spree with The Rats and steeba that yielded 124 finds.
One of several puzzles we had worked on in preparation for the trip. A short search at GZ and the container ended up appearing just where the GPS said it would be. The long grass did provide some good concealment.
TNLN and thanks Team Woodbats for the cache.

Found at 6.55pm GAFF? as I was assisted by a muggle farmer who owned the nearby property. The maths was worked out in the head - thank goodness that I can still do some of this stuff unaided, but at GZ there was no way that I could raise the cache. Then suddenly as though an apparition appeared from nowhere this slim fit rugged looking farmer said - "you are looking in the wrong spot"!!
Ahh - some muggle in the know eh? So we had a good chat about horsey things, lucern, water bores and the price of his property (he is one seriously rich person if he can sell that place!) and then he pointed with his foot where I should be looking - nothing to do with "open meadows" as per the hint and just 5 metres from where I was looking.
Another experience that I wouldn't have had if not for caching - thanks Team Woodbats (Binga)

We eventually located this one but not before the farmer came to see what we were up to! He'd never noticed anyone looking around here before but thought we were up to no good and had taken our number plate so we introduced him to geocaching. It took us a while to locate it as the gps kept sending us a few posts down. TNLN TFTC
Well, this one has been a thorn in my side for a while.
I have visited the final GZ about 3 times and have never found the cache.
But today my young apprentices' dark eyes spotted it straight away.
I should have bought him wth me ages ago.
There has been some fencing done around the GZ, but it hasn't affected the hide.
TFTC woodies.

Finally got around to logging this one. We solved the equation months ago but hadn't been out to Maitland for ages. A quick find in the end. TNLNSL TFTC Team Woodbats. [650]
Found this one with The-Don whilst on the Daft Invader tour of the Hunter.
This will be a much nicer area after the council decides to clean it up.
Hopefully the council leave the cache behind as they will no doubt use a whipper snipper in the vicinity.
The area is very overgrown at the moment and not in its best condition.
It would be nice to see the bridge from underneath but unfortunatley there is no easy access to it on public land.
Thanks Woodbats

Called in here whilst visiting Steamfest.
Had a quick look around and couldn't find it.
Phone a friend was used but I couldn't be bothered looking in there.
The area is overgrown and full of burrs.

I had done the maths on this when it came out, but hadn't had the opportunity to get here. Got here today, and I'm glad to find my maths correct.
But it still took some time to find the cache........well hidden.

TFTC,
I knew my maths was correct and had it confirmed by Jumpedin2it.
Just hadn't looked hard enough.
The clue was misleading, as we didn't understand it. Now I understand it, but it was spelt incorrectly, we thought it was a name of a type of brick or brick maker as there were quite a few loose ones around.
Picked up travel slug, and the clues to the next one.
Love the maths.
I've noticed the 3rd one has gone missing so will work on the maths so I will be ready for it when it returns. Maybe I had better do number 1 as well.
Thanks Jumpedin2it, hopefully will meet up sometime.

The maths is correct, but couldn't find the cache.
As it was the first of the day it may have been that we weren't geocaching awake yet.
Will come back again.

Had to make a trip out to Bunnings so decided to make it a worthwhile trip by finding a couple of caches on the way. Marco is the mathematician of the two of us, so he did the calculations at home before we left. We found our way to GZ quite easily, but the searching wasn't quite so easy. There were quite a number of cars and trucks going back and forth on the road, so we had to wait each time one appeared. The additional hint did not help us at all, but eventually we located the cache. Left Mrs Poly's Racing Slug TB and signed the log. TFTC
Found after getting in and out of the car many times to consult the maths again and to get out of the rain. Had it right, just didn't look properly. Thanks Woodbats
Shouldn't this be a Puzzle cache instead of a Multi?
Anyway I did the maths, found the co-ords and off to the cache. Searched and searched in the dark, no cache, checked he maths, yep correct, searched again, yay there it is.
Nice cache.
*FTF*
Thanks.
