Where I expected - just had to look twice! I have itchy cachy feet after sometime away so heading south from home-base to the coast. It's all quiet this early in the day so muggles not on the loose. TFTC and the fun.
Looked and lookedIts not the best to be seen lurking around school grounds these days. Its pity as it has been here a long while although lost a little while ago.
Cache replaced (AGAIN.) Please be discreet doing this cache. If you might be watched leave it for another day. DJ
Travelling to harrietville from sale. Without a hint and so many possible hiding spots these are hard, I couldnt find the cache. Next time.
Thanks to djcache for this hide.We were enjoying lunch and a quick dash across the road resulted in a find. The town was fairly quiet this afternoon.Great to be up in this part of the world again.
Cache replaced (again). Please be careful. Its a public location. If you cant do it without exposing it come back a little later. Have a beer or a coffee. Its a pain coming back to replace it because others give away its location.
Searched for quite some time today and no joy Not sure if our finding sensors are on holidays, or this has been muggled.
Very convenient that our tour bus stopped at the public toilets right here. I'd been sharing my caching with my tour buddies ...and so the tour guide wanted to find this one and he was very excited to do so! Thanks for the cache
TFTC Doing a trip in the Victorian high country with geo grandkids. S1 excited when he was able to spot the hide. Great find. Thanks for the stop in this lovely town.
Almost 11 years ago we did not find it. No problem today. Cache OK/ Did encounter some wildlife when walking past the hall toward the bakery. A small snake made its way across the grass and across the footpath, It was a light green in colour and about a metre long.
Find 4456 on December 28, 2023 1:32PMFound on our Gippsland holiday. We stayed at Sale for 2 nights and today we make our way to Dinner Plain. Thankfully a quick find. All is well with the cache. TFTC djcache
Found while visiting from Canberra. A quick stop here as my cousin used to live here. A quick find TFTC
Heading from Heyfield to Omeo, we stopped for a break in Swifts Creek. I saw that there was a cache close by and made quick work of finding it. Great spot for a cache.
Tftc djcache. On the way back from Mt Benambra and a convenient spot to stop for a bit. Quick find.

Found with PapaGrouch. We were heading home from Lakes Entrance and took the opportunity to find this cache and use the nearby facilities. Spotted the cache as we parked the car, it was very visible so left it in a less obvious place but still at GZ. I don't know if it was left so visible by a cacher or maybe a curious muggle found it. TFTC
Absolutely love swish Creek area and it has so much history to offer. I’ve done a lot of exploring around the haunted streams and a lot of the old mine relics
Find number 10 000. Got it in less than 10 years. Think I might slow down a bit over the next 10. Have a fave point as a celebration.
Stopped for a toilet break while driving through
Thought “there has to be a geocache around here” surely enough I was within 20m of one!
Thanks for the cache

I looked for this one once before but thought of an obvious spot to hide it today and there it was
After camping at Falls creek (freezing by the way), we've ventured south through Omeo and a pit stop in Swift's Creek was needed for a toilet break. While brushing my teeth I spotted the beauty and our names were quickly added to the log. Thanks for the cache!
YAY found Slow down in Swifts today. Thanks djcache for setting up this cache. It was nice to slow down and stop as I passed through Swifts Creek on my drive through our High Country. There were a few muggles around GZ and this made grabbing the cache and signing the log a little slower too.
PS: The Troll Dolls [TN6TR0] were with me today on my great caching adventures.

Stopped here on my way to Dinner Plains - thought I'd come up the Gippsland way rather than from the northern side like I have other times. Real nice drive up the winding valley. Around 5pm so I had to skip the bakery, though I do like a good bakery.
Cache was a very easy find, certainly far easier than if it had been where it wasn't. Thanks for the cache.

On our way through from Dinner Plain. Sat at the tables and ate our bakery goodies and then made the find. Tftc
Cheers for the cache.
GPS is well out but still found it after reading through comments etc.

So I have been here 4 times before but never logged my failures. Today I finally won this baby to a find. TFTC
A little bit tricky for us today I’m afraid. TFTC anyway. We did however find a lovely lorikeet and a pretty little town between the mountains
We’re headed up to Mt Hotham with our caravan in the hopes that the forecast snow will appear tonight . Swifts Creek is a great half-way place to stop for a leg stretch and a quick visit to the amenities. And for a cache, of course . We had a little trouble finding this one since we paid more attention to our phone’s GPS than to our small level of cache-mojo but eventually logic won out and we found the little beggar!
Thanks for find #1976

This is our first chance to take off in our motorhome and test it out. It is so long since I have been caching, I am feeling very rusty, with very little caching over the last 18 months. Now we are semi retired, so we will no doubt get familar and catch up on some very late logs.
Took a bit but eventually spotted.
Thanks djcache for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Out on a day trip circuit from Omeo, checking out the local site and grabbing a cache or two.
Misses found this one, just after I had finished looking in the same location, DOH, I hate it when that happens.

It was very interesting to see the burn pattern of last year's disastrous fires, as we drove from Bairnsdale to Dinner Plain. We were quite amazed at the extent and type of regrowth. It took much longer than the 2.25hr suggested time as we stopped to find interesting caches such as this along the way.
Thanks djcache for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

We stopped in Swift’s Creek for lunch. We noticed a sign to a wood-fired bakery and decided it was lunchtime! After eating down by the river , of course we needed a toilet stop before moving on. Checking the app after doing what needed to be done I found a cache was within 8m, so the short hunt was on. In the process I found a papery cocoon. ( see photo) it felt so fragile. The cache was found in a very logical spot and so convenient.
Swifts Creek not being kind to me today. 0/2.
Roaring business just before Christmas too so teeming with Muggles.

Nice quick find on a road trip to Bairnsdale. So glad that we can now get out and about, well I hope it stays that way tftc.
On a long week end trip to Bairnsdale , pulled in for a quick bite to eat , a nice little spot for a cache cheers tftc. Lpt
Unfortunately We had to wait for muggles to leave the area, Bunadoorian and I waited in the sunshine. Once free we had a long look and couldn't find the cache. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely park area djcache.
