Returned with the whole Whanau for a thorough grid search. We think you can rename this to "Lost cache" will place on watchlist to see if we were wrong (it happens. No, really!)
You know that feeling you get when you're on a hiding to nothing, but suddenly you feel that container in your hands? Well, I'm starting to miss it. Tonights tally is 1 out of 4, and that 1 was one where I had to collect muggled debris, put it in a bag and stash it where the hints said it should have been. Cobden and PEWW are a cachers' graveyard right now!
It seemed only fitting that since I lost the GPS I should find the cache to mark this. But no -I have now managed to loose the cache as well in this area

#1593 (5/25 on a third day on the Coast). We were here 2 years ago looking for another cache.TFTC.
Resorted to hint as the vegetation was wet and we are wimpy east coasters.
Aah, no hint, so we had to do it the hard way and were just about to give up when StreetWalker found it.
TFTC.

kept my new GPS well cli pped up while walking the area after having 2 fail while planning this trip TFTC
Found the general location easily enough (with a few twists and turns trying to get a street that lined up with it) and wandered around in the undergrowth for 5 minutes before spotting it. I've spent a lot of time in Grey and never even knew this location was here, so thanks for showing me a new spot. TFTC
I had a strong sense of de ja vue as I drove to near GZ. "Didn't I find the cache last time?", I wondered. But then the needle pointed me in a different direction and I realised that this must be a new cache. The rocks must act as a cold sink for the inside of the container was very wet. It needs some owner attention. TNLN T4TC.
Glad I didnt loose my GPS today as it came in handy to locate this cache, I remember the last cache in this area. TFTC. Cheers Bo
Ironically Mr KE lost his GPS two cache finds prior to this one - it fell out of my pocket after pulling my phone out. Luckily Biggles found it resting in a flax bush - no bull - the relief was enormous. This cache was much easier to find. TFTC
After narrowly avoiding a lost GPS situation with Kiwi Explorer this was a most appropriate find. TFTC, Biggles.
I remember visiting here before and so much so that instinct took over and found myself wandering quite a bit of course.
Major correction after checking the GPSr, and a bit of a fossick about before finding it.

A give recovery of the cache in a quiet place. Sorry no sign of Bitsprayers GPS. TFTC
First cache of four for the evenning - the others were a bit further from home!! The cache hounds helped with finding this one. TNLN TFTC
had a look yesterday with nephew #1 in the same place as last cache with no luck. came back today with nephew #2 and it was a fast find. Thanks
not where we thought it would be. Found while caching with badgermushroom. TFTC
I can see how the "Moneydork Method" has merit in a place like this. However, managing to find it in quick order saved from having to go that far. TNLN Thanks,
