Removing the majority of A to Z caches, the park and grab ones anyway. Freeing up some space for others.
As I arrived I thought that was a strange place for a pier. The sign explained it... Thanks.
Interesting piece of history. I haven't stopped here before. Thanks for excuse. Log is full
Found with Chosen1978, Quick find on a stunning day in the Central Otago region before heading home. TFTC
A lovely new man in my life introduced me to geocaching by showing me this cache, time to revisit it to log for myself, tftc
Got a big toot from a local so guessing he knew what we were up to. Beautiful day here today. TFTC
We found this easily while on our way to a couple of cellar door tastings. The cache no longer has a pencil so bring your own. TFTC. Cats out Walking.
Heading back down the hill after getting to Duffers Saddle. After a quick stop for a drink at the local it was time to head back to camp. A quick P&G find by Papa. Salamat!
Nice easy drive by cache. Heading around the corner for lunch by the river. TFTC
TFTC. Melon spotted it. Hardest part was finding the number. Thanks for the history.
Tftc, Had a group photo taken under the sign years ago on a school camp, brought back fond memories
The description was a bit confusing. At least PurpleDragonFire and me were searching for a different type of container than we discovered. But it was fun searching for it anyway. TFTC
After the CITO and a small rest with an ice look for some more.

In Bannockburn for a 12 hour rogaine, staying at the School Camp. Popped down the road for my only chance of a find for the day. Quickly found on a very brisk morning. TFTC.

A new bridge now spans the Clutha river here, and nearby a welcoming structure shows you have reached the Bannockburn district. It also hides a cache.
Was worried when I found a small shard of a magnet on the metal but quickly found and dutifully signed.
No troubles with this one. Sorry phiki614 couldn't do too many of this series. Simply didn't have the time.
Thanks for the cache,

Still on our driving tour of the south-west after the NZ Mega, and back to Cromwell for one last night and dinner with some nice people! RexTrex filled us in on the background to this one, in an interesting location too. Thanks phiki614.
Found at 9:06 AM GAFF1 in the company of Phetlern. Loved this location with all of the contrasting scenes - mountains, blue/green coloured river and the interesting information on the board. Just can't see that this is desert country!
Thanks phiki614
Thanks phiki614

Today it was a our second last day in NZ and our trip took us from to Te Anau up to Cromwell. Stopped at all the caches we could along the way and ened up claiming about 35 for the day. The cache was found after a quick search, no problems with it.
Found with ZsaZsa7, Winglen and fitzy_1965 on our trip around the South Is after attending the New Zealand Mega. We managed to grab a few caches on travels and this was just one of them.
Thanks for the cache and the chance to see more of the South Island.

A conference that Mrs G was attending in Queenstown was a perfect 'excuse' for the whole family to come too and have a wee holiday. Stopped off on the way passed. We came out to Cromwell for a daytrip & Bannockburn for a picnic lunch. Great wee spot with untold history. Cheers.
Rather obvious as to its hidey hole once you get to GZ. TFTC.
