I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi phiki614This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no cache maintenance logged. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
No joy for us today! Gave area a good kick around but no luck finding. Large gravel pad has been added here (lucky for us to cool our vehicle breaks down)Definitely needs a check and replacement Thanks anyway C&J
As previous visitors to this area have stated the cache is missing after a serious amount of road reconstruction here
Looks like there’s been some groundwork been done right at GZ and this might now have been buried. We had a good look around the area and could not locate
A quick stop on our drive out with Muggle friends who kindly indulged me in my hobby.

Stopped on the corner and quickly found the cache before a bikie muggle made his way up to GZ. TFTC
At 506m we found a geocache in a lovely spot with an awesome view back down the valley to Cromwell. That's far enough for today, one day we will return to find the others on the Nevis. A favourite point for this cache.
Went for a lovely drive with friends, couldn’t get this one on the way in as quite a few cows and calves were enjoying the view ! So ticked it off on the way down.
Feels good to sign off another of this old alphabet series while up here this evening. TFTC # 16,820
Travelling from Te Anau to Wanaka today, I’m going via the Nevis road from Garston to Bannockburn for a bit of adventure. No problems here, a quick find. Signed log, TFTC!
I hadn’t even got out of the vehicle before my muggle friend had found the cache. TB missing. Tftc
Quick find. Fine view of the valley. Added a Ziploc in case leaks again and covered over better.
Checking on my cache placed at the beginning of the Nevis Road, thought to do a wee trip up to grab a few caches while the weather held out.. and it did for 3 finds. Then the clouds started rolling in so time to turn around and get the hell outa there! Good timing as a few days later it was snowed in! Fantastic views through the valley to Lake Dunstan. An easy find, emptied out some water as the lid wasn't clipped on properly, log was dry in a zip bag. tftc
In the early afternoon we visited Nevis road and the Saddle. Thanks for the cache!
Found on 10/12/2019.
Out on a bike ride across the Carrick Range with a group of workmates. Slogging up the hill at the moment.

On a road trip to the Nevis Valley for the day from near Lawrence. Lots of fog on the road up through Central, thankfully, none on this road. Quick find, thanks to the excellent hint and accuracy, much appreciated. Collected the Travel bug and will move on
Today I had decided to travel in my cachemobile from Kingston to Garston and then along the Nevis Rd.
Met a cow-cocky here and had to explain geocaching to him. He still looked sideways after I finished. Ah well, that's his problem.
In: TB.
Cheers for the cache.

At Kingston and the rough lake meant no fishing today .
So what to do?? ....I know... a trip over the Nevis was the call.
Packed mum and dad and other important people into the cache mobile...
Off to Cromwell, and up the hill we went.
The view of Cromwell was nice and clear.
Cache nice and dry.

Thanks to kingcache86 we found a new container with loads of swapables and 2 TBs. One swapable was an absolute winner for the small one and he was totally happy. I took on TB and left the second one. Driving down to the Nevis vally was our todays adventure and super fun. TFTC
Container as absolutely stuffed. I’ll come back and replace it...hope that’s ok with CO. Swapped travel bugs
A quick find but the container lid is broken and plastic bag all split. No longer waterproof.
Got this one on the way back home. Cointainer had a broken top but log book still ok
We are cycling from Cromwell to Garston, and naturally we have to log a few caches along the way . Tftc!
Somehow I managed to notice on the handle bar mounted GPS there was a cache approaching and I managed to pull up in time.
Unfortunately the lid is broken and the box was full of water, but the snaplok bag did its job and the log is dry.
I replaced it upside down to try and keep things dry.
Cheers and thanks,
S.t.

Caught up to a few more vehicles so was good to stop for a little while and let them get ahead. TFTC
This is fantastic country. I was going to do a trip to the Nevis anyway. The series of caches are an added incentive. Took panther TB.
Well have an opp on my shoulder about 4 weeks ago and still got about 4 weeks to go before I'm back at work so I thought I would come visit some friends in Cromwell for a few days so was a great time to find a few caches. So out for a bit of a 4WD trip up here to get a few caches and this on the first one we came apon. What great views from up here. Awesome. TFTC ☺
Our wee boy, 6, found a toy crocodile so swapped it forward blockhead. Sweet find.
This is a very impressive road with so many great views!
Thank you for the cache!
Thank you for the cache!
Great view from here. Want to come back one day with the caching jeep and drive all the way through this road. Tftc
I was on a mad dash down to Queenstown for a funeral and had to have certain 'breaks' along the way and I was heading up the Nevis to grab a cache for a D/T rating I wanted and this was literally on the way. This road looks like it's going to be fun. Love view to Dunstan.
Thanks for the cache.

Great views as Granville86a and I made our way over the Nevis Road. Havent been here in 12 years, love it, glad to be back. Admire those biking up on such a hot day, impressive!
Found with Chosen1978. After getting caught in the droving of several thousand merinos along the road we finally made it up to the cache. Quickly found and the log signed. The start of the traverse of the valley in the new cachemobile, A chance to test out it's capabilities.
Quick grab while trying to keep in front of following vehicles and their dust storm.
Heading back down the hill after getting to Duffers Saddle. Thankfully there is ample space to get off the road as there were many trucks going both up and down. Another quick find by Guwapo. Salamat!
Quick find and I see we aren't the only geocachers out here today. Dropped off a TB. TFTC
Nice quick find, doing the Nevis with a group, 2 couples are geocachers, gunado1 & 10grands, but not really into it so they had to do the finding today. No TB here. TFTC
I've made this trip several times on my motorbike twenty years ago and this was the first in my car. A quick find on a stunning Central day. Thanks.
On my way into the Nevis River for some fly fishing decided to take in this cache. TFTC
