Such a beautiful morning in this spectacular bay. Cache note is wet and not writable. Nice find anyway.
This was a nice and easy find for the two cache's we were going today and then a nice stroll along the beach.
Thanks for the cache

Noticed the three new caches out at the coast when they were published earlier this week, but there was no chance to head out this way until the weekend.
Despite living in Whangarei for 60 years, Whangaruru North is a place I have never ever visited before, so the chance of some possible FTFs, as well as some other caches and a nice training walk around the DOC reserve, was not to be missed, even though the weather wasn't looking the flashest.
After several heavy showers on the drive out, the sun actually came out and it was hot and humid for my walk today. After success on all the reserve caches, stopped off here on way back for the other couple in Bland Bay. Lots of mullet jumping in the bay near the other cache on the harbour side today. Followed the GPS to this one and made a nice quick find in the hint location. TFTC

A short stroll along the beach to find this cache. Had a few issues in completing the last few metres as the vegetation was very clingy. Found cache quickly once I had bashed my wa through. Went for a road trip since there is a souvenir available today. TFTC.
Found a lot of beautiful shells on our walk to the cache. Beautiful place with an amazing view. TFTC!
We collected many pretty shells on this beautiful beach. Thank you very much for the cache .
Staying on the campsite. Nice walk by the beach to cache location. All good here. TFTC
Exploring around the north on a beautiful summers days in the bay. stopped here for a cuppa and cache. no problems finding. Thanks for the cache
Had a good stroll down the beach to cache. Kids found a complete Tun Shell on the beach as a bonus. Cache located quickly. Signed and replaced. Tftc.
I'm visiting NZ for 7 weeks and I've rented a car, making it easy to go geocaching. Today I drove from Paihia to Whangarei, via Russel and the coast. I had no idea it was soo beautiful here. It took forever to get to Whangarei, I had to stop for photos (and geocaches) every 5 minute. This is why I love geocaching, if it wasn't for all the caches that's placed here, I wouldn't have seen this part of the country.
About this cache:
This was another beautiful beach. Found the cache quickly, thanks to the good hint. Tftc

Bland bay is a lovely spot. We're here for a motorhomers rally. The log was a little damp but we were able to sign it. Tftc
Staying at the motor camp for the weekend...grabbing a few caches while we are here..Thanks Robertot for the placement in an awsome area simply bliss
We are here for NZ Nash Hash weekend and caching as we go. Nice quick find and on flat land!! Thanks for the cache robertot.
Ah! Now the cache title makes sense and so does the state of the sign. My husband's brother and sister camped here with their families a year ago. The cache was an easy find but it was quite windy along the beach today. It was much more sheltered on the Oakura side. TFTC
A fun find with some friends. Introducing new catchers to the game! Beautiful spot. Tftc
Found together with sunrise_princess on our trip to NZ.
Thanks for the cache and greetings from austria!

Breaking the winter geocaching drought. Spending the weekend at a motorhome rally. Tftc
I've camped at bland bay for 15 years and this added another bit of fun at an already awesome fun place to be
Beautiful calm sea today. Only one other person on the beach today retrieving his boat from his recent fishing trip.
On our way to the Mega in AKL via Northland. Nice easy find after the last one on the other side of the bay. TFTC.
Nice walk along the waters edge for goldielover and I. Cache in great condition. Some locals were bringing in their boat while we were there. Would have had a fantastic day. Not a breath of wind and not a cloud in the sky.

Found with stairman1. Another great place to visit. No one around. We enjoyed the walk on the beach and after a short climb the hint made perfect sense. Cache is in good order. TFTC.
Nice spot and not a sole to be seen. Found easily and appreciate the owners recent maintenance of caches in the area.TFTC.
Went to check it after getting a friend to reinstall a few months ago. It is well hidden and dry but now has both halves of the signage lying above the hide-out.
Looked like it had certainly been muggled. The sign had been pulled down and broken in half. Will see if we have the resources to re-establish it whilst staying at Puriri Bay. Not Found with 'Kev and Chris'. The Italian Job was here....!
Quick little find while in the area today thanks. Nice bay on such a wonderful day.Not a car about either.
Picture perfect bay. No togs, managed up to the knees but anything over that will take another month for the sea to warm up for me. TFTC
