Greeting Cachers!
After much deliberation, I have decided it is time for this series to come to an end. I no longer live in the area I grew up in and with the old family home being sold next year I won't return here often enough to warrant replacing them. 12 years is a pretty good run for a little cache. Thanks to all who found the series over the years, 2 are still currently active as stand-alone finds. Cheers, Zal.

Thanks all! Yep the camo is there, the container missing. I'll try to get a new one once things open up next week.
We'll try again in a few days. Kid found a bong hose and a red e-cigarette. We decided to call it a day and get back home and scrub our hands.
No joy - after conflicting logs regarding if it’s still there I called it a day
Didnt understand the ‘tap, tap, tap’ part of the hint. But still found nonetheless. Tftc! Xx
Well the camo is actaully the important bit Feel free to log if you get the co-ords... I'll pop a new container in soon. Cheers.
Found evidence of what was once a cache.... still got code for final gc but no log to sign
Missing actual cache.
I replaced the outer container where I expect it was meant to be.

Found earlier this well on a caching walk along the mighty cooks river. I tapped, I searched, I found the thing that didn’t really fit it and soon had CIH. Tftc!
Got this one on a Sneaky ride up the Cooks river. A journey done backwards, thanks for the series
Found on a scoot ride along the river. Lovely way to explore and cache. Last one for the day - time to head to Queen concert.

This is a cache close to work that I had not yet attempted before so today set out to remedy that. Liked that it was an ‘oldie’, 11 years old, and still intact. Twas a nice big empty park as I crossed over towards GZ, where I discovered the cache under plentiful natural camo.
Cheers for the placement Zalgariath.

Nice hide, spot was quiet but really really hot on a summer midday. Found without too many problems. Thanks forb constructing this cache, always enjoy finding these type of things.
Hot days bring out the laziness in me and initially didn’t feel like digging through the garden. Hint was somewhat helpful although there are a lot of trees
Had a second go after a bit of a walk and found something that caught my eye and had CIH. No needles covering, good camo! Log was damp and fragile so added a new log although the plastic is a bit worn out so may need replacing. Put back and covered in needles!

Found the cache just lying out in the open and detached from the rest of the cameo, put it back together and tried to conceal more.
Started with a 5 km run along Cooks river and mounted my bike for a total of almost 30 km to find lots of caches along the river/canal/stormdrain. Al were find quite quick and easy.

What better way to erase a Saturday ar work (very rare, thanks goodness!) than a spot of geocaching! Clever hide in a custom built container. Collected the information available. SL TFTC Cheers.... Gaztek
Lots of spider webs in between the bushes blocking me from searching but the almighty AUSHAZ pushed through, as in literally pushed through the webs.

A quick easy find as cache was out in open and upside down.
I've messaged CO but no fear.. Nothing taken and all parts of the cache still in tact.
Log 1/4 full.
Took note of the hint for the mystery / final.
Clever camo.
Re-hid back and put natural camo on top.
Ride on my bike from Sydney Olympic Park.

A nice Sunday bike ride along the Cooks River Cycleway, looking to complete this series. This one was found easily as it was lying in plain sight next to the tree. Cache is in good condition. Collected the clue for the final, signed log and replaced as per hint. TFTC.
After a pleasnt afternoon bike ride we found this cache. Easy find as it was lying in the open next to a tree, got the geocache with the needed information. The clue was collected for CRC4 and the geocache was replaced to match the hint. TFTC. TNLNSL.
Walked along the cycleway to GZ and began scratching around like a brush turkey. Soon discovered the cache which was covered in brown flat beetles. SL and picked up the cache container which now had a large huntsman on it. Where did he come from? TFTC Zalgariath.
I walked in through the park...the play equipment looks pretty cool. I wanted to have a go on the flying fox but some pesky kids got there first. GZ was out of sight with no one around and I found the cache easily, guarded by a couple of cockroach-like bugs. Nice camo!
Today I cycled with ziggiau from Wolli Creek to the end (or the beginning?) of Cook's River. Two DNFs, twenty four finds. A broken front-brake cable and a flat tyre. What a day!
Quick find on our way through the area, grabbed the details and signed the log. TFTC!
All done now, ready for the final when it is back!

I was on a roll by the time I got to this one. This was my 500th all up. Increased activity now I have retired. TFTC.
Find #61
Found this while out caching with the kiddies this morning. Goal of the day was to start the Cook's river trail and see how far we could get before the geokiddies legs ran out.
This was the third find of the morning, coords were spot but I looked at the start of the clue which threw me and had me looking for a different type of hide. Realising the clue could be a noun or a verb I saw the error of my ways and tried a different approach and trusted the coords. It was CIH in seconds. Signed the log and dropped a trinket before placing the cache back in place. A great hide, excellent camo.
Thanks for the cache Zalgariath

There is some nice parks hidden from view which usually means hidden from Muggles too.

Heading home and i find myself stuck in traffic heading to the Adele concert...so i took a detour to wait out the traffic. Glad I did...
Cool camo, great park with lots of fun play equipment, had to stop for a play on flying fox.
New cache acquired, will be visiting the area next weekend. Stay tuned and apologies for the delay.
Although this cache is listed as Temp. Disabled, I went to look for it anyway and found it minus a Log Book, and supposedly a cover. But the essential part was there as it gave me the required clue to complete the Cooks River Cycleway Series. I'll claim the find now (photo available, but not attached to this log as a spoiler) and sign the log when it is replaced. TFTC Zalgariath
Sorry guys, haven't made it back to this part of Sydney recently. Hope to get a new container asap!

the cache was exposed and nothing to log on to. tried to put back in its place as best as i could off to #2.
Out on a bike ride to Rookwood Cemetery this morning with my muggle mates. I stopped on the way, had a quick look around but compass seemed to be going everywhere. Decided to leave it and catch up and grab a nice coffee and cake first, and try on the way back.
On the return journey, I raced ahead, dropped the bike on the side. Told my mates I would catch up and this time spotted the camo almost as soon as they left. Coords seemed pretty good too. Well hidden from any other muggles passing by. A nice cycleway around the Cooks River. TFTC. #716.

Found #3 a few months ago as it is close to home and finally got around to finishing the series today which took me on a ride to near Strathfield. First time I have seen this camo... nice! Good location made it easy to use stealth. tftc Zalgariath!
I planned to attend SBMT's event this evening so I came over to this part of the world early and grabbed a few caches beforehand.
I didn't think the co-ords were a very good match for where I found the cache. It was easy though. Nearby muggles - not really, one cyclist and one grandfather singing to a toddler and none of them could see me anyway.
Collected the clue info, 2nd in the series. Now where did I put that other clue???

Nickstar and AWTYOW found two different pieces in two different places. We signed the log and put everything back together as best as we could. TFTC
2nd one today while out park hoping with AWTYOW and GeoGangstas.
We were lucky to approach this one the way we did (which was probably the wrong way) but as we approached the area AWTYOW yelled 'Found it' the Camouflage was nowhere near where it should of been upside down with nothing in it, I looked towards GZ and yelled 'Found it' as I saw the cache.
Anyway it's all been put back together and returned to GZ

Found this one's camo flipped and exposed in one spot and the cache in another but all seemed well apart from the displacement so we replaced as best as we could. TFTC!
Out at park with nephew and thought I'd see if there were any geocaches around. Bingo! But I had no pen Bummer.
Out discovering my new local area and finding the Cycleway along the river. A few caches found today and i plan on getting back out here soon to collect some more. Unfortunately my pen exploded in my hand at the first cache. So my logs are a inky fingerprint.
Just one for the day. Saw the D was a little higher than other caches in the area to headed over. A check of the hint to see what we might be after and thought this might be difficult. On getting to GZ we were drawn to a certain spot and then spotted some camo to soon make the find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Found it! Cool hiding spot but I don't really think its a difficulty 2.5 because I found it really quickly!
One of the few parks in Sydney where there is no line up for the flying fox Tftc.
Found with Joanneeg.
Fourth find for the day.
Best park to play around in afterwards.

Went the wrong way round but found it in the end. Approach from near the park, which is a great spot. My 2 year old is loving it. Tftc
