A quick find today in good company. A shame the view a bit marred today by bush fire haze. Normally much more impressive. TNLN TFTC
DNF looked all over the hint but didn't find cache today ..great spot though
Great view! Lovely way to enjoy a Saturday morning. Missed seeing the cache the first time I looked, found it after coming back to check again. What a pretty area. Thanks!

Found this cache after a short search. Visiting this lookout as it is named for my Grandfathers family "the Heatons" Also called in at the cemetery in Brunkerville to locate graves of many past relatives. Thanks for placing this cache in such a great area. TFTC
Found it with geocache son (Squick). Heaton lookout is named after my late wife's family who lived nearby.
Grabbed it whilst whaiting for some scouts to finish a bushwalk. Well hidden so took a little bit. TFTC
Well done Team! Thank you for replacing this cache. TFTC [:o)] A Scouts Australia Competition
After the Pathfinder Fair at Cooranbong we had spare time before had to head back for work, etc, so we went for a drive to try and find an old trig station, but it seems to have been built over in the last 30 years or so. At Heaton towers) So stopped off and found this one after a 'DNF' yesterday, as we hadn't had the updated info.

1655 GAFF1 After talking with the CO today I found out that it was no wonder that I missed out on finding the cache yesterday, as it had been replaced, but quite a few metres away, and I hadn't updated the GSAK file with a Pocket Query. And as MVMB had also come down from Taree for the Pathfinder Fair today at Cooranbong we headed off as soon as it was over and came on back. Sure enough, there it is!

Lovely day spent walking down to Gap Creek Falls nearby and then driving up to look at this gorgeous view. Thanks jonignite, although sadly we didn't find it. We had 8 sets of eyes looking and no sighting...surely it's not that hard to find and has been muggled.
We gave it a good crack, but Nature was against us maybe. Visibility was down to around 50M with thick cloud cover, and there was no view to be seen. We were just taking a shortcut over the mountain, when Geo wife, says, duck down here, there is a couple of caches down there. Will talk to CO and see if its missing maybe as we searched what we thought were all possible avenues.
What a great walk. Came with dad after work, knew it was here from previous visit with scouts great views! Can't wait till next time!
Came up here for lunch after riding at the mountain bike park down the bottom. Quick find, was slightly uncovered. Great views up here on a clear day. TFTC. TNLNSL.
This was our Easter Sunday excursion, various geograndkids, nephew and assorted parents. Top spot great views and a cache as well. Have not walked the great north walk, but have seen various bits of it. A quick find with the Speeder3 mob, lots of looking then back down to the lake again. Tftc

We decided to tackle a few caches in the Watagens with TeamSenz in the Geolux. There were quite a few muggles parked at the lookout but no one was paying any attention to the cachers. We swooped in for a quick find, admired the view and took a few photos. TFTC.

Today we spent the day out in the state forest with chippyroo! The weather was fine for such a day under the canopy of the trees.
This was our first stop for the day, once at GZ we stopped and took in the scenery after a quick find, we got some nearby muggles to take a group picture of us with such a great sight in the background.
Thanks for keeping this one going Jonignite.

It's a long slow drive to this lookout from Cooranbong in the Mazda6, so we were disappointed to find a large group having afternoon tea, with their cars parked right in front of GZ. We drove off to the hangliders' launch site and luckily returned to an empty lookout. MrsFish found it straightaway and we left via the Freemans Waterhole track, not too bad. Thanks to jonignite for keeping this cache going, definitely worth the long drive.
This cache has now been transferred in ownership from The Cash Man to Jonignite.
Tftc very wet needs maintenance but still intact dried as much as we could thanks for the find
Last for the Day, What a way to finish great views, TFTC, ps found with a little nudge from a fellow Cacher

Happy new year 2012. Found this cache once read hint. Noticed others geo caching at same spot. Tftc, Tnln.
Found with blossom* and totally forgot to log! Thank goodness my gps remembered the date and time I logged!
I had wanted to walk along the Great North Walk from Heaton's Gap for a number of years and this cache seemed a good end point for our turn around goal. It was a great day, a bit overcast so not too hot. The climb was heaps steeper than I imagined but not too hard really and once up the top, the bush was just lovely to walk through.
Great views at GZ, that's for sure! We sat and had lunch on a fallen tree as we logged the cache and a friendly leech joined me on the walk back Still, when I saw him back at Heaton's Gap, it seemed mean to let him die in the middle of the carpark dust so I moved him to the damp grass. After all, he did have some of my wonderful blood in him (her?)
Thanks for giving us such a great goal and view

This was the first cache on our attempt to clear out this part of the Watagans. Plenty of fog and rain today so no views to be had, not to worry will have to come back again. TFTC.
Great view, easy find, stopped for afternoon tea & took a few photos

thanks, great spot!
thanks, great spot!
Reperio at 1400. Have been to this wonderful spot previously, but due to certain circumstances, didn't end up logging the cache. This is a location certainly worth coming back to time and time again, so today was as good as any, and took in a pleasant drive to GZ, located the cache, resigned it, and simply sat and breathed in the vista. Must be one of the best views around these parts...if not the best!

Thanks for taking us up here to see the view. After we found it we had a lovely walk along the Great North Walk.
Yay found it just in time.....batteries dies when I got up there but remembered the clue. What a great spot
Found at midday - though given our leisurely camp breakfast, it felt more like morning tea time! Very pleasant morning activity prior to packing up after a weekend camping near The Pines - thanks!
What? a view? only really saw the cache and the mob on the HAVOC weekend. Have enjoyed this view many times in the past and always worth coming back to.
Thanks.
Thanks.
The name says it all.

Woohoo - Mrs Burners found this one !!! It was a tough group of cachers to get a find with.... Another fantastic spot within the area. Thanks Cashman
Found en masse with the HAVOC CREW. Mrs. Burners was quick to find this one first in front of the big crowd. Had a moment to look at the views before the HAVOC CREW belted off to the next one. One of the best caches in the area. LEFT CALLING CARD TFTC
Found at 2.50pm GAFF5 - just inches away from where Angela from The Burners family ripped the cache right from under my nose.
Finally - found a cache by The Cash Man that hasn't been archived!
a great view indeed, which in winter would be much better without the humidity haze.
Thanks The Cash Man.

This was very fun to find. It was hidden in a good spot. I liked looking at the lookout.
stumbled on this one with no GPS signal at all while drving in the car. Basically stopped at a lookout to get a Signal (cloud, Trees , etc,) and got a signel and realised this was where we wanted to be. Cache was soon in hand and we were off to try again at hang gliders launch that we had trouble with earlyer that day.. was getting late so we couldent spend alot of time taking in the scenery. Thanks. Team JEZES
The name sums it up well. Difficult to find a better view anywhere. Great spot for a cache and its a good size. Thanks for the hide Cash Man. T:Nil L:Nil. Sadly there were no trackables in this cache today (
