Spent a good 15mins here with lots of little people and so many spider webs. No luck for us today.
We were on the wrong side of highway for this one. Hate canons as a rule but tftc
After seeing a few DNFS we were thinking this one could be missing. Amazingly I found it in the first spot I looked TFTC Ozcrawf
Searched everywhere but still did not find it. My first try at geocaching and failed️
Finally found it gotta get low and dirty. Will need your own pencil.
Took awhile to find it..
Good find.. take your time.

Too hard for us. First cannon one that sadly beat us with all our travels around Australia.
Absolutely poured while we were here and on the tin roof it sounded like hail, but wasn't.
How lucky were we though, think this is the only time we've ever searched for a cache on one of these objects and been undercover.
Then to top it all off as soon as it started it was over and the most vivid rainbow appeared. That was a con though and a few kilometres down the road the rain started again.
Took a while to find this one and can't say I've ever seen this object used as a cache container before. Geocachers really are recyclers!!!!
Thanks.

The Coorow Primary School children were very excited to have found this Geocache today! Well done Toby for finding it!
After an epic 3 and a half days travelling around the Goldfields I was making my way back to Perth and this was one of the caches I stopped for to cure my one more itis! TFTC

We hate nano's on cannons as we can never find them. Got the broom out of the camper and got rid of all the cobwebs and to our surprise came up with the goods!

Day one of Barnzy12 and Cravo10 adventure to the Northwest of WA, filling out boots with LGAs, rare DT, old caches, and good old fashioned red dirt!
We travelled from Perth to Geraldton along some less travelled roads though Moora, Coorow, Mingenew and Walkaway on our journey collecting some less touched caches, a number of which were getting their first log signed for 2017, which was very strange considering we're nearly a quarter of the way through the year.
We started the day off a bit later than otherwise normal leaving Perth just after 9am and headed to Moora where we grabbed the three caches quite quickly, Cravo cheekily grabbed the final for the LKA multi whilst I was doing the sums, very cheeky indeed.
We continued to Cooroow and made a quick find of the weird container which is more like a
Mint tin in size not a nano. Then moving towards mingenew which was our major target for the day to add another LGA to our list of completed as we work towards 130 lga collected.
We stopped for a nice lunch further down the road and marvelled at mother natures fury with the rising waters that would have swept most things away in her path around some of these parts and she was still flowing quickly today. See the pics for more details.
We then moved to walkaway where we completed a couple of puzzle caches and a multi before heading into Geraldton to complete the remainder of the planes series which was published since we last were in Geraldton. Nice quick finds there before checking into our accomodation and then grabbing some more caches around Geraldton and retiring for the night after being out in the heat all day.
Had a couple of beers at the hotel and a nice dinner whilst planning tomorrow's trip to Carnarvon.

Grumble, grumble, grumble, flamin' micro's on machinery. Did a thorough search with the fingers, (only startled two red-backs) and came up with nothing. I was just about to write this one off, when I used the eyes instead of the fingers and there she was!. What a strange container - I appreciate novelty, but this was a new one on me. TNLNSL - TFTC Ozcrawf.
Found on our way home from a month long sojourn to the warmer climes of the north. Thanks Ozcrawf.
The geowife went ahead of me on the way home in her car and attempted to find this one. After only successfully twisting her knee it was time to bring in the big gun. After strategically searching I came up with the goods. Tftc
Found while On our way to Toodyay ... A relatively quick find for a cache on a cannon T4TC:)
My partner called to tell me that she had just made a purchase over the internet, and the goods were located in Geraldton, so I hatched a route to grab as many country caches as I could along the way.
Nano is a little deceptive, happy to find a much larger container here. Didn't take too long at all.
TFTC Ozcrawf.
Ozcrawf, I found your cache Coorow cannon on 3/10/2016.
This is my find #3022 and find #11 today.

After spending six days caching in Geraldton and surrounds, we headed south towards home, grabbing a few caches along the way. We had intended to surprise a friend who now lives in Coorow with an impromptu visit, but we got the surprise because she had travelled to Kalbarri the previous day for a weeks break! Still it wasn't a wasted visit as we scored an easy find for a canon hide. Replaced the log sheet as there were only two places left. Thanks ozcrawf
A great hide, a smiley added whilst on our way home from Geraldton for the IGD event TFTC
Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about with some of those friends and we targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!
Thanks Ozcrawf (F=3088 H=28) for placing this cache.

Found with Micaparamedic. We have grown to dislike these types of hides but todays was no problem as he saw it pretty quickly.
Heading away today, so decided to grab a cache or two on the way.
I generally hate these type of hides. But I'll take 9:42 AM exception today as the prize was spotted quickly.
Ozcrawf - Kyzabra found your cache Coorow cannon . The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

We last looked here 12 months ago and had to register a DNF. We were more determined this time and came armed to battle the spiders. And we won. Not my favourite type of hunt but a very rewarding smiley
Me first stop,
on what I can only describe as ...
... "Possibly the worst weather for a day of geocaching." ...
... was here in Coorow
Somebody up there must have heard me comments and provided an ideal place to spend a while looking for a 'nano' on a gun
A warm, dry, sheltered from the howling wind and cold rain, sort of place
No wonder the spiders like it so much here
I checked the usual places first.
Then the next most likely places ...
... then the search just deteriorated into a stick you paw anywhere you can't see sort of affair
Just as I was about to give up, I spied a cache in the dark recesses of the weaponry
Hey !! That's not a 'nano'

Happy Easter, fairly simple find once you get past the resident spiders. TFTC
Definitely have to fight your way through the cobwebs although found in a reasonable time on our way to the south for Easter. TFTC. SL.
Not sure what attention the cache needs. Checked on it about a month ago and all seemed good.
Definitely wasn't what I was looking for either. Not only webs everywhere but most of the spiders were home too. Thanks
Foxy_Oxy and I went to the west coast of Australia and did a roadtrip to the North and South. We've seen a lot of lovely places and had a lot of fun during our holiday!
Puh....we had to search a lot of time, but it was a nice variety from sitting in the car

After having been to the East Coast of Australia in 2008, Puepps and I decided to visit this beautiful continent again. We rented a 4WD Campervan and did a great roundtrip along the west coast, south and north of Perth. While caching is always good fun (well mostly ) in this context it is even more for us: a great reminder and memory-enabler for places we visited and things we have seen! In the end we did around 4800 kilometres in our camper and had a great time.
This cache was one of our finds and hence represents one of these memories.[^]
It was one looooong search, but finally we got luck! tricky, tricky!
Thanks for the cache,

Spotted by Kathryn after a ten minute or so search today. I could have sworn that we'd found this one previously, but it appears not - perhaps we looked but DNF. Certainly a smiley for today SL but no swaps. Thanks to Ozcrawf for the cache.
What an interesting cache. Nicely hid, but easy to find with a little persistence. TNLN but noted in the book.
Found it with long arms TFTC nice little town and caravan park.On our way to Perth then
home to Sydney.
home to Sydney.
Travelling from Lake Indoon to Buntine Rocks so passed tgrough this pretty little town. Wasn't looking forward to the cache but was pleasantly surprised but again had to call on muggle Pa to retrieve it for me as my arms aren't long enough. TFTC TNLN SL
Thanks for the hide. Wondered how long this would take when we saw the old cannon lucky we have long arms and didn't take too long. Final cache for me to fulfil the requirements for the Well-Traveled and Aged Cacher Challenge GC3TR3M.
A quick find. Luckily it was under cover as its a wet and miserable day.

Taking the midlands road for the first time. #1 cache for the day. Waited for geohubby to waste time searching before I found it first peep TFTC definitely not a nano.
Gave myself 10 mins here with no luck.
I might return with a torch sometime.
Thanks anyhow

Heading north for a weekend and called in to find this cache on the way up.
Although I didn't record it at the time I had been here before but the place was full of mozzies and spiders so wasn't too comfortable with searching and left after a short search. Today all I had were spiders so had a better chance of finding it and soon did.
Thanks Ozcrawf for the cache.

Could not believe how easy this one was to locate
Chatted to a local lass walking her dog when returning to the car seems job opportunities not so great for young ones in the area

A quick stop to locate this cache and talk to a local.
Would be a quiet existance out here and chances of work would be slim.
Loved all the colour from the local flowers.
Took trackables to visit.
