Logs
After much thought we have decided to archive this cache, and let someone else find a better hiding place in this little park.
Tried by myself earlier in the month with no success. Came back with reinforcements this week (Bumbly2 visiting from UK) and still had no luck. Bumbly2 found an empty bag that might have once contained a log but other than that nothing. Will keep an eye on the logs to see if anyone else has better luck than us.
Second visit, second DNF. Last time it needed replacement - hope it is still in place.
On a night geocaching mission this April full moon night. Gps was playing norty but managed to lay my hands on this one quickly. I finished the found it funky dance (FIFD) , and signed the log TFTC reebz, from TeamMcI, 4 April 2015 21:32, cache number #827!

I had been here once before with a DNF, but then it was the middle of the rainy season. The water was up high, playground was underwater, and it was cold with numb fingers.
I ended up giving up before making the find - that was in mid 2013 I think.
Now, we had just been to visit some friends, and I needed a cache on my way home, so we came here.
Luckily the husband was smarter than me and got the reference to the hint - I was too focussed on a different syllable break down!!
And luckily he managed to retrieve the cache too - I kept on slipping and bush bashing with a sore broken arm is not great!! Lol.
Nice to tick it off now

A quick early morning find. Dropped off a wee TB that has come with us from Blenheim. TFTC
Found the cache in one piece but out in the open. I put it back in the nearest rootunda but not sure if this is the right place. It is near the red brick. TFTC.
Day 10 of cache a day in May (bonus find) Nephew and niece enjoyed playground while my sisterfound it she might be my geo hound
Found the root it was supposed to be under but chache nowhere to be see. Judging from the rubbish around there I'd say a muggle's got their hands on it.
Shinichi87 and I found this little one on our road trip around the south island. Our beloved Campervan Gimli took us in every single part of the South Island, so we could collect a lot of Caches
That one was the last for shinichi87. after we found this one I took him to the airport... Our time in NZ was over and I had only 10 days left...
TFTC!

So, that was my last foumd in NZ for this journey. Two month are over and where all began two month ago it should be ended, in Christchurch. KullerKeks90 and I vosited this place before I had to go to the airport.

The playground was flooded a few days ago. Thankfully the cache is above flood level.
Lovely playground for the little kiore.
Lovely playground for the little kiore.
I have been here before but not attempt due to the muggles playing on the playground. Eventually found and had a decent look as there was no one around in the rain. TFTC.
I liked this one - good naming. Cache 43 of 51 for the day. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(2266)
Damm those pesky mozzies trying to eat me alive, found cache signed asap and outta there
Third time I have searched this bush location. No success at all. This one continues to haunt me.
Out on a night caching to grab a few caches that have been recently published and this one just happen to cross the gps as we were going by. Stopped to hopefully make a quick find in the darkness of a Sunday night. Had my doubts when reaching GZ and the direction the gps pointed but with a sigh went in for the hunt. Spotted likely place and a quick rummage about soon had the cache in hand.. far quicker than I would have hoped. TFTC
Cache has been revived in the same area, although in a slightly different location (due to extensive erosion at initial hideaway).
It seems to leave it's hiding spot a lot so we need to re-think this cache. Will be back soon.
out on a winter bike ride easy find,we had to give this cach a miss last time as the council as doing the gardens.
Had a good look around but couldn't find it. The area was very wet and muddy after a week of rain and snow, so we didn't dig around in the leaves too much.
We were quite surprised to find the cache without any cover and completely exposed, but had to place it back as it was found due to a real lack of adequate leaf litter. TFTC.
Nice wee park; we stopped by after a Saturday lunch at the Brick Works. The cache was five clicks off from the coordinates given and hiding uncovered behind a tree. Reading the log book it seems that the last visitors found it out in the park area and put it back there; we've put it back in the same spot, but the owner may wish to put it back in its original hiding spot. TFTC
Cache was open and uncovered. Everything was in tact so I screwed the lid back on and covered. Neat park. I have been trying to find this one for ages but there have always been muggles around.
I was looking for an easy cache to keep my 194 day streak going and this one sent me round and round. Must of gone round past it and then when I decided to go round by the river the road works sent me by a roundabout route. As I was going on a long loop round I tried another cache round the river - but a DNF sent me round to the other side of the bridge and I tootled over to go under the trees and found the Rootunda right under. TFTC
Finally! I generally only have a limited time to find caches during the day, and after having a quick look at two other locations, this was my final "sure thing" cache, to keep my consecutive day streak going. Thankfully it was a quick find!
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
And there it was! Tucked it away a bit better and grabbed coin. Thanks for helping me celebrate my bday!
Found this while out on a training bike ride (up on the summit rd), nice hide I used to meet up with friends and muck around here, friends used to live across the road nearby. TFTC
Found some caches on my bike ride home from work and this was one of them. Thanks!
Great hot NW day for a bike ride and treasure hunt. Nice shady spot to find the cache.
Phew, easy find today... Much easier than the other day when the cache wasn't actually there! Nice wee spot. TFTC

Apologies for the no finds. We found the cache out of place and looking a bit sad so we restored it to it's former glory - complete with new logbook, pencils and sharpener, and a few swaps. We hope you come back and log your visit. Regards Reebz
Certain I found its hidey hole, but no cache to be found. Looks like its been muggled.
