A slippery ascent lead to a quick find. The cache is exposed at GZ and the container has a split lid. Thanks for the cache.
We found this cache fairly quickly in an area just made for a geocache. Sadly the container is damaged and the cache held more than a cup of water! Was unable to sign log so will attach a photo. TFTC
Cache container is damaged and was found with large amount of water inside. Needs some TLC.
As per previous log, container is split and taking on water, left cache inverted in hope water drains out.
Today was a special day for us. We have prepared for it for a couple of weeks because it involves a Qld Challenge cache (to be collected in the future) which requires us to visit 25 caches of different difficulty/terrain rating in the one day. Having worked out a route which would give us the required caches we set out today to achieve the challenge.
Clambered here and there, slipped and slithered and then scrambled up to a very obvious cache. Signed and then repaired its home as best we could with near-by materials.

Like ausandaus2, we crossed the creek over some stepping stones. Unsure where we were going and worried a cliff getting closer and closer we pushed on. Near the cliff we saw it got easier to climb. Found easily enough once we got there and had a good laugh at the container. We found an easier way out but a harder return creek crossing that the kids enjoyed. TFTC
We crossed over the creek using stepping stones (a bit slippery) only to discover that another route was possible.
Good coords took us to 3 metres and a potential hide was sighted. aus2 checked it out and found the cache which was out in the open, the lid damaged and the contents and log wet. We were still able to sign the log. We rehid the cache as described in the hint but of course we are not sure if it is in exactly the same spot it started out in.
Thanks for this cache Stumbleduponit.

check on cache with some so to be ex-muggles. log ok. container will need a change within next 12 months.
great area for a cache had me going around in circle. but finally catch this cache. thanks
Went too far for this but soon rectified the mistake. TFTC Stumbleduponit
Walked the Whitewater track on a gradually warming but with the wind also increasing in strength. In fact at one stage Peter's hat blew off and his glasses also got knocked off; unfortunately that meant he couldn't see where they landed and only found them when he realised he had trodden on them. Having new and expensive glasses damaged was not very nice, but at least the lens were not scratched.
The Whitewater track was fine enough but as with so many creek systems, that have human development near, the weeds have made big inroads.

Had tried for this one just recently but to no avail. Thought it was on a flat section but found it on the slope. Well hidden. TFTC.

The last of the morning before heading for a 40th Birthday party.
A bit of rock hopping across the creek was the first task then a little scramble to the cache for a quick find and sign.
A nice bush area.

As we walked along the trail it was soon decided to cross the creek, as usual I found the hard way. We trudged up the hill towards our goal. Code1 located and passed me the log for duties. An enjoyable location and thanks for the black berries for saving Code 1 on the way back down.
JABs.

We crossed the stoney creek to get this one.Would be a bit hard if you are not agile or if it had been raining. Easy find tftc
Yeah! Geokid found it. Awesome! This looked daunting but we trusted GpS and hint and took only a few minutes. Mooooo and thank yooooo.
A nice stroll alongside a lovely creek setting found us just below the GZ. Looked like pretty formidable terrain up there but we decided to give it a crack. Not too bad actually and eventually we zeroed in on the cache. Nice hide! We grabbed the TB. TFTC!

Argh!!! Wrong side of water. A quick walk up stream saw a bridge to get me to the correct side.
The first on our list for the afternoon (gorgeous Spring day!!) had us stumped for a bit (thanks to the GPS) trying to work out which side of the creek we were supposed to be on but after reading through previous comments managed to get on the correct side (won't mention how many times we crossed back and forth over the creek!! ) and was a quick find after that - container was a bit tricky to open! TNLN TFTC
The first of 6 found today, this one had us going round and round and crossing the river too many times thanks to the gps playing up. A lovely spot to take in the scenery and a few caches. Log was a little damp TNLNSL TFTC Stumbleduponit
Found pretty quickly. Avoiding "ouches" was the hard bit for the young Bunnies.
Geokid loved this cache container, definitely her most favourite find. Found on a warm sunny Sunday of caching. Took Water Deagon, left truck. TFTC
This Cache had been vandalised and was strewn all over the place. We put it back together and placed where we think it is mean't to be.
Soaked log replaced with bison tube log inside cache. Food stuff's and old logs removed!! Swaps dried and left inside. Future swaps will need to be damp proof!!!
Great container, especially cause I like the American version of Smmarties. TNLN SL TFTC
Had a look for this one a few weeks ago, when it was far wetter and the stream was almost a river, returned today with Garfieldmeow and found it, interesting geocache container.
Was glad I looked closely at the map before venturing out to find this one - we started on the correct side of the creek. Found with a tribe of geoKids & geoAdults without too much difficulty. TFTC!
Like many before us we found ourselves on the wrong side of the creek. After a short stroll we found an easy way across. Natty got attacked by a rogue stick before admitting defeat at a giant puddle. I continued on and signed the log for us.
Like recent cachers before us, we started this one from a culdesac and found a walkway to the area on the wrong side of the river. The evidence of recent flooding was still about but the creek was low enough for us to find a place to cross. Found the cache and got it open okay. A little damp inside but log dry. TFTC.
Added screws to make container opening easier!! A little damp inside, but log dry.
Lovely day for a stroll, even if at one point I was too busy looking at flood debris and then realized that I was on the wrong side of quite a fast flowing stream. Found suitable place to cross, soon had cache in hand.
As previous finder noted, it was quicker to find the cache than to open it, but we got there in the end.

Lucky cache was up higher than the flood waters. The water must have rushed through here. Hard to access. Had to drive around a bit, couldn't find where meant to park. Chose a cul de sac and headed off. On wrong side of the creek and a bit muddy, got there in the end. Out cache hunting with Tassie Trekkers. TFTC.
GPS led us to a culdesac full of houses with no access behind them to cache. Then ended up on wrong side of creek and after walking along the path asked a local if there was a bridge crossing it. After a negative answer Mrs B wanted to give up but Mr B who rarely admits defeat eventually found a shallow crossing and across we went. His perserverance paid off and the cache was soon in hand. Contents were a bit on the damp side. Thanks.
I am so sorry for not logging this at the time but I did find this one again with a bunch of geokids especially to drop the "Pimp TB" we live right near and I was keen to keep the travel bug moving. thanks
Finding a crossing point was the first task. Once on the right side of the creek, we had to search for about 10 minutes before we located the cache. TFTC
Found last Saturday - after a bit of shopping with Sienna- it was great to go for a stroll and find the treasure. SL TFTC
[Our first ever hunt ........... only minutes from our home. Proved very interesting, particularly when the GPS kept giving us "mixed signals".] The rock the size of a 3 year old is more like the size of a 30 year old on steroids ........ but it was fun to find. The container was great. [Watch out for Jack Jumpers ......... if you're not Tasmanian and you don't know what these are then Google them, they are a very dangerous ant with a nasty bite (can be fatal) and they love the sandy soil near the creek.] Cross the creek near the bridge for safety.
Thought we might do a spot of geocaching whilst Sharna was playing Basketball nearby at the nationals. Turns out over the whole week and a half we did a grand total of 2 caches. Just ran out of time. We restarted this one a few times to get at it as the GPS was being very deceptive and we thought we were taking the right approach then hit an unpassable obstacle and had to start again. Were absolutely soaked by the time we found it then struggled for 10 mins trying to retrive container and nearly as long to open it bet persistance overcame frustration and we finaly made our imprint. Thanks for the adventure.
The hardest part about doing this cache was trying to find somewhere to cross the creek - there was a little more water in it than I expected. Once over the creek and at GZ the cache was found quickly. No swaps today but I would have loved the original contents.....
The journey back to the cachemobile was heaps shorter and a lot closer to where I parked - a quick recce and I was over the creek.
Thanks for the cache!

Enjoyed a short walk to this and explored a little around the creek at the same time.
Cache is all ok at the moment but the local kids look like they might be building something very nearby.
Cool cache container, if only they came that big!

Went with BawleFamily but GPS ran out of batteries when we were only 50m away. Will need to go back again!
hello thx soo much for the challenge it was a very good family bonding session and thx again for the adventure yours truely tigersrule.
After going for a much longer wander than was required, this was a nice quick find. Some of the trees around here are magnificent. Thanks for a nice cache, and nowhere near as many prickles as I was expecting!
This was not a problem after finding somewhere to park. That container sure took some opening with wet hands. TNLN Thanks
First cache in a while for use. Fun to get out and about again. Great case. TTFC
Found it with owens6 on a late afternoon walk. Had a little slip down the hill and is sporting a bit of a sore leg. Oh well all in the name of geocaching!!! TSLS. SL
Geokids found with geoaunty late afternoon. SL. Thanks for the find. We live just at the top of the hill!!!
A nice easy find; the cache container looked rather like an Easter treat! Lottie liked the terrain; she thought we should all go for a roll in the rivulet but the idea didn't appeal to my husband and myself. Must just be a dog thing.
Thank you for the cache!
Thank you for the cache!
I knew when I parked my car that I would somehow end up having to cross the creek.
Keeping a wary eye out for snakes I made my way across easily enough and then began looking for a three year old.
I've only ever seen one other cache hide using this container. They seem to do a good job.

Hopped over the river near the corner, found the cache fairly easily (though my GPSr had it 18 feet away), back across the river on a log (iPhone in one hand, GPS in the other, praying I wouldn't slip).
Coming in from the bridge would be easiest, I think.

Found even though hard for geo wife to cross river. Watch put for jack jumper nest
Hot on Oldsaint's tail I had to climb over a log to get across the creek and it was a highlight for this one (I'm such a Nanna). CatDog however seemed to have no problem hopping over and was right behind me when I returned (having to sit on my bottom to get back over). By the time I crawled up my driveway I was covered in buzzies and sweat!! Hot day!!
Hello, Found the cache at 1312hrs as my fourth of 7 for the day. Loved the container, but I couldn't get a bite. Nice walk, TFTC HAPPY NEW YEAR cheers for now OldSaint.
Had to go and find this one when we knew the Rascally Rabbit in question! Got extra ouch for our effort from a jackjumper bite! TFTC! ( We left our usual calling card and took the Prison Travel Bug)
Actually found this 1/1/2010 but GC won't accept 2010 yet. A nice easy find. Tnln but a tb. A good first hide thanks for the cache

This was done very late in the day with the sun setting but plenty of twilight to help us. A tricky creek crossing led us towards our 100th cache. The GPS was a bit out but a pretty quick find for Jr Geo and I. Plus a First to Find!!!. Thanks for the cache Stumbleduponit. TNLN.
