Has been burnt out by the sound of it. I can't get back down that way for quite some time, so will not be replacing it.
On our way to Albany for a break and decided to take a different route via Collie and then Mrs K's home territory west of Kojonup for a bit of a trip down memory lane. It was a wild and woolly day with lots of heavy rain squalls which we managed to dodge most. A long but enjoyable and rewarding trip to start our week
This was one of Mrs K's childhood haunts with many a weekend spent swimming & skiing on this lake. The jetties are the same distance apart, just allot newer as was much of the infrastructure here now. There were white caps on the lake so all the ski boats were tied up on shore and the skiers sheltering in their tents from the heavy rain. Hope the rest of the week is better for them
Mrs K made the find after expanding our search a little from our GZ
Thanks for the cache Green Goolies [^] - all was good and dry, however the outer bag is not serving any useful purpose as it has lots of holes.

Found this one on the homeward journey after a week of awesome caching around the Great Southern area. Am sad to be going home, but duty calls.
This one took a while to find, and I almost gave up. But I found it eventually. Bush?? Was that a bush?
But a smiley is a smiley, so thanks Green Goolies
PS If anybody finds a smallish flat-bladed screwdriver, it was me who dropped it. Bugger!!

This was a pleasant motivator to take a good walk from the camping area. Lovely look at the lake. All in order with the cache and site. Thanks.
Found on a great extended weekend of caching, camping and canoeing on Lake Towerining, TFTC
Damn it, just spent the whole day lazing by the lake, swimming, eating, swimming some more. Geo hub in his inflatable kayak. Said to geo hub, would be a great place for a cache. Should have checked first!
This one took a bit longer to find but got there after 5mins or so . Find 16/18 today
Such a beautiful lake and picnic area.
First time I've been here and would've liked to spend longer but had to keep caching before heading back to Bunbury.

Took a little while to find. Geodog was happy to find a cricket ball which she cheerfully carried back to the geowagon. Tftc

Found it but needs maintenance, old soggy paper, from previous books, new book in zip lock bag, but still getting wet. Needs new container and pen.
I was standing at the GZ thinking there was no obvious caching spot...there doesn't always need to be!
I've only ever been up the other end in the camping area; I didn't realise how good the facilities here are now in the 'public' area. Particularly nice to call in on a day when there was no one else about.

Another one that was a quick grab before we left this fabulous spot. We will have to stop here again next time we are passing.

Got too love long weekends!!
What a location... and when we arrived at 4ish on the Monday evening after the long weekend, it was all ours, HIGHLIGHT!

GPS was all over the place in the gusty conditions, I persisted and found the cache. It was very wet and needs a good dry/clean. I have included a new log book but it is quite small and could also end up in the same damp condition. TFTC.
It's a good thing I was in company with gerrynewgirl, otherwise I might have given up. GPS was jumping all over the place, despite heaps of satellites. TFTC TNLN
Visited the lake today, lots of water skiers about and others trying to beat the heat. Two TB's, Big Z and Voodoo Pete the Rabbit popped in for a visit as well.
Found it. Notebook needs replacement. Thanks Waterskiing at Lake Towerrinning is so much fun too. Fabian
Visited with cavecats 'Rifling Through Caches'geocoin. Cache contents and logbook were damp, just managed to log visit. Put logbook in ziplock plastic bag with small silica pack, hope it helps. Dried contents and replaced cache.

Been meaning to check out Lake Towerninning for sometime now, and what better excuse that to go geocaching!
Was our hardest find for the day, GZ was a little off the mark. Not to worry, we took five to regather ourselves, reviewed the page and broadened the search.

Stopped by on a wild blustery day for the first cache on the way to Bunbury for the weekend. Easy as cache was exposed, not much to hide it with!!! Always good to call into the lake that I spent many fun times at while living in Wagin many years ago.
Found with team silvervol.
What a buitiful place that is most unexpected in this area.
Will definetly return to spend more time here.
TFTC that brought us here.

Tried to look casual so as not to attract muggles (water skiers) attention whilst finding cache, succeeded on both counts, took yellow dog, left P.M.H teddy bear. TFTC
8th cache for day 3 on my 5 day geocaching holiday around the sth west WA. TFTC
took a little to find as it was about 15meters away from the GPS spot

kcsun71 led us on a expedition to the lake to find this cache on New Years Day. Took Stars & Stripes TB.
Took a bit of searching but eventually found it. The lake was truly at its best today - we regularly visit. Water was perfect for barefooting (and there was one boat taking advantage of it. Our first swim here for the summer. Make sure you visit soon - it is a hidden gem but with the lack of water this year it may not be open all summer.
Decided to get in the car and do a little 65km drive from my house....Very still morning, lake like a mirror....Had no problems finding it......took a G fridge magnet and left a naughty girl rubber bracelet....GO THE DOCKERS!
Great spot, been here before, but thanks green Goolies for bringing us back here.
Took nothing, left fridge magnet.

An easy find after a bit of a poke around. Fantastic spot and we had a lovely night camping here too!
Was pleased to make the find in a lovely location. Must camp here one day. Grabbed the TB to move on
