Spent quite a bit more than our usual 10 minutes here, but unable to find it. Too well hidden for us on the day. Our thanks anyway to Claralinjah.

17-Apr-12
A pretty easy find ( when we found it !). A path I had never taken before. Wish we hadnt come at 6pm, which was obviously dinner time for the mozies, and we were it !!! Quickest I have ever signed a log and run off thats for sure. tftc.

Cache is operational again in revised location

08-Mar-12
We will replace the cache within a week.

04-Dec-11
A new fence has been erected and the cache has disappeared with the old one.

03-Dec-11
The cache disappeared with the old fence.

27-Nov-11
Had a quick look around GZ at possible spots for a nano with no joy in between muggles going past. That fence is extremely new though, hope it was put up before the cache was placed.

28-Aug-11
Searching in between coming and going muggles we were unsuccessful today. Second in what was to be run a run of DNF's

03-Jul-11
Stagely acting people were seen departing a suitable location just as we arrived.
And indeed the cache was away beign signed. Day-tripper soon came wandering back and said I was looking in the correct place. Quick chat and on our ways.

03-Jul-11
Nice hide got busted buy another cacher before I signed it?

25-Jun-11
Arrived in the carpark near GZ. Had a couple of muggles sitting in the car next to us, they soon left us alone.
A nano! Great! After carefully giving it some thought we found it straight away. Ops left the tweezers behind again, so I couldn't extract the logbook so therefore we didn't sign it. TFTC

15-Jun-11
Cursed nano! One day; one day!! No matter, I had the nano-queen with me. With me on one side and her on the other the cache would be hunted down. I nudged it with my finger within seconds. Finally got one back on the queen. TFTC Claralinjah.

Wow!! I've never seen a cache this small before! Considered not pulling the log out to sign it but where would the fun be in that!! Grandpa only swore once getting the log back in so that's not too bad Smile

19-May-11
Tried but couldn't find. Great spot though. Thanks.

13-May-11
On the mission to find all the Hindmarsh Island and some Goolwa caches with Mrs "Are we there yet!" navigating. Flippin' nanos. Difficult to find, difficult to log, difficult to put log back into the cache! TFTC.

30-Apr-11
Looked and looked for this one but couldn't find it. Maybe another day.

23-Apr-11
Found as a part of Team SaintsMadHouse and now that the kids have grown we each have our own accounts to finddd geocaches with separately wherever we go!Do NOT listen to fellow geocachers when they take you on a challenge to help them find a cache they have been unable to find. Make fellow geocachers stand aside and wait silently while you have a good look, then it WON'T take quite so long and you WON'T be lead astray by their silly interpretations of hints or logs. Also DON'T assume fellow geocachers have ACTUALLY searched EVERYWHERE like they SAY they have. It was in the easiest spot....once I found it....Oh and just to voice my opinion along with others.... Bloody nanos!

23-Apr-11
Cool cache, Thnx 4 the help Juicebox14.

23-Apr-11
nice hide thanks.

22-Apr-11
2nd go at this little bugger and took Saintsmadhouse with us for the challenge as well. We looked and looked and looked some more and climbed and touched and looked in places we really didn't want to. We used the laptop to refer to more logs on the web but still nuffin. Then Saintmadhouse spat the dummy and gave up and used the mobile to check just one more time then suddenly she said "hang on..... what's that??? Is that it?????" and sure enough the damn rotten stinking filthy little bugger of a nano appeared as if by magic cause surely we looked there before.....or at least we were soooooooooo close. NANOs should be BANNED........

14-Mar-11
A quick find while visiting for the weekend to see the rejuvenated river. Last time we were here the barrage was holding back the sea. Today it appeared almost every section was open to let the river flow out.

We thought this one might take a little while but Kettle Twin 1 had it in hand before we had entered the co-ordinates into a handheld gps.

Thanks Claralinjah

11-Mar-11
Got it - a popular spot for visitors. Thanks Claralinjah

Bloody nanos. Spawn of Satan. Burn down the nano factory, and exterminate anyone who sells nanos.

15-Jan-11
Found on a perfect Saturday morning. The sun was out and a light breeze was in the air.
Today I was on an epic Cache hunt, finding as many as I could in a day!
I sat in the car for about 15 minutes to wait for a muggle to move on before I went crazy searching the area. I was a little worried about finding this one after reading previous logs, as it sounded so tough.....I found it pretty much straight away!!!

21-Nov-10
Found at 17:24 with Olga
This took us some time. I eventually found it where Olga was sure she had already looked.

16-Oct-10
With loads of muggles and the fact it was freezing and windy, I looked in all the obvious spots. When it wasn't there, I left it for next time I'm down this way.

06-Oct-10
Took a while with muggle activity good hide. TFTC

01-Sep-10
Amazingly quick find on a quick few hours caching around Goolwa in the wind and rain!!! TFT(little)C

31-Aug-10
We looked inside and out but could not find it (DAMN NANOS - BLOW THEM UP). Decided not to spend too much time on this one as there were loads of other caches near the sea to find but we will take another look next time we are down this way

21-Aug-10
found while on a caching run! one of 31 for the day!! TFTC

31-Jul-10
For me this was more 'Barrier to Caching' as I looked and looked and looked - cleared lots of cobwebs - and looked. Previous finders confirmed I was looking in the right type of spot, but alas I could not find it.

Thank you for the hunt.

29-Jul-10

03-Jul-10
Was about to head home from caching Murray Bridge when some new caches came up around Macclesfield and Victor Harbor so the FTF hunt was on as well as grabbing some other caches on the way.

Took forever but found it in the end. TFTC. Big Grin

02-Jul-10
This is the second time we have come across such a tiny cache. They are very hard to find. We have to break off our initial search because of muggles. We decided to visit the barrage before returning for another search attempt. Just as we were about to give up, we managed to locate the cache. Thanks for spicing up our visit to the barrage with a challenging cache.

27-Jun-10

Even with a previous finder, we couldn't find it. Nano factories should be bombed. Clear skies! Smile Always a top location.

07-Jun-10
Lovely peaceful spot today. Few Muggles.
I love this area with lots of birdlife and lovely scenery.
Took a bit of looking but SXC came up with it in the end.
Nice one.

Very cleverly hidden and the perfect camo. Took about 10 minutes to locate. Had a SA Water chap stop and asked me if everything was OK. No problems mate and headed back towards the car until he had disappeared. Returned to be rewarded with a find. TFTC

02-May-10
Found with Damikalu. This one was a massive challenge. Looked odd at first but then another look and got it in the end.

Checked out cache today and all is well. Good Hunting. Patience is needed to return log to container!

23-Apr-10
2 cachers with 2500 finds between them and it took 3 visits and a few text messages to locate this one.

Then we couldn't get the log out.

Now I remember why I have such a dislike of nanos

Talk about sweet and sour! We looked and looked and despite help from the caching help line, we couldn't find it. We left and returned and left again and returned determined to find it. We might have found 2500 caches in the past, but this one left us bush wacked. Eventually we looked where we first looked and the cache was ours.

Then we couldn't get the log out.

It was a good challenge that almost beat us!

TFTC.

16-Apr-10
It took one minute to find and ten to get the log back in!
Thanks for the cache!

24-Mar-10
I could not find this one - searched twice. My geohusband to the rescue!!! He helped me find it. I am sure it was in the first place that I had looked! Red Face
Thanks Claralinjah for the cache. Smile

19-Mar-10
Very sneeky hide. This was my second attempt, don't know how I missed the it the first time. Most difficult part getting the log back in the Nano. Thanks Clarinjah for the cache and hunt.

09-Mar-10
Fortunately, the cache wasn't too far into the grounds, as there were a band of muggles with very large lens on their cameras, snapping all over the place.
I got out my special nano pen, the one with the really fine tip, and wrote my name as small as possible Smile
Thanks, Robmc.

07-Mar-10
Lots of searching.
Slippery little sucker.
But we got there in the end.

04-Mar-10
I'm sure it was there but the bus load of school kids made searching almost impossible today!
Next visit.

28-Feb-10
Easy find TNLN TFTC

28-Feb-10

Folks around where I traveled from in New Mexico, in the U.S. use these mico containers all the time...so I was kind of looking for this. Still it took a few minutes to find. Good hide in a neat area.

Put my hand on this quite quickly luckily. Its a nano not a micro. As usual the hardest part is rolling up the log. Thx Claralinjah

24.1.2010 2.45pm Team:A
On our caching trip to the seaside weekend.
yep, this is what the game has to be in some places, we eventually found it encased in a spider web, considering it was only found the day before, those little buggers work fast!

A hint from Snapper on Saturday clarified our goal somewhat. I'm not putting my fingers anywhere spiders have been/might still be! I'd rather be the decoy photographer. Good on you Mark.

Thank you for the journey.

23-Jan-10
Excellent hide spot. With snapper. SL. Thanks Claralinjah for organising the cache and hunt.

23-Jan-10
After waiting for muggles to clear, we commenced our search. Looked in, out, everywhere. Then we spotted it. That's no micro cache - that's a BLOODY NANO! (in the immortal words of Freddo). Signed the log and replaced, which took almost as long as finding the damned thing (typical for this type of cache). TFTC.

23-Jan-10
RazzRazz Accompained with Everlasting for the day.It really bit harder to find take us about five mins to looking everywhere.Everlasting found it as last!!! before m anyway glad got it really good hidden.S.L.

06-Jan-10
Ah! Well one out of two is not too bad early in the morning!
After finding ‘Federal View’ and with a 1.0/1.0 rating we expected another quick find; but it was not to be!
We spent over an hour here but without any luck.
We will watch the logs with interest.
Thanks Claralinjah for the hunt and a chance to chat with visitors and bird watchers visiting the barrage.

06-Jan-10
Woohoo FTF with mundoo looking on and assisting. I love this area and its soooo much better now there is water on this side of the barrage. TFTC
