Unfortunately, I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

The [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.

Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [**here**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).

If you wish to contact me please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

08-Dec-18
For some reason this came up on our GPS as available, which I guess it is although unable to be accessed for the reasons mentioned by others (nearby property has fenced it off with electric fence strands).

Anyway I'm logging it, obviously as a DNF, for my reference so I can give it a go again in the future should we pass by and it's available!

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###

----------

I've noticed this cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.

The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance)

It does not appear from logs that the CO has visited this cache recently, so it is being Disabled to remove it from search lists.

**There needs to be a response to this situation (or intentions indicated) within 14 days, so others know exactly what is happening with this cache.**

You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:

- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.

- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

### Easter trip 2018 ###

----------

We've planed a trip to Jindabyne this year.
To get there, we took the inland route via Canberra where we've stayed for one night. We've then continued on to Jindabyne and have stopped at many interesting locations on the way there.
We've walkes up to the summit of
Mt Kosciusko on Easter Saturday. We've taken the main range walk up to the summit of 26km total distance. Great challenging hike past the blue lake and many other little mountain lakes.
The view up there was magnificent.
Back in Jindabyne, we've walked around the lake and have visited the sculptures near the lake.
We took the coastal route for the way home back to Sydney staying in Batemans Bay for the night.
We've stopped at many interesting locations and have visited some caches along the way as well
Thank you to all the owners for showing us the places

It's not super micro and therefore not that difficult to find. Amazing location and amazing place for some great pictures. Thanks for this great cache!

Couldn’t access. Farmer has electric fence up and his donkeys guarding the station. Cool little building though. Wish we could have stopped for a look

I was passing by with SmudgeyCat and saw this funny little place. A nice old country station. There were a few donkeys nearby and other assorted farm animals too. The owner was also not too far away so had to try not to be seen. Not an easy one to access here. Found with SmudgeyCat SM. TFTH Wink

I will have to look up the history of this line. So many of these country lines are vanishing. I hope the old station stays around for many more years. The little donkey wandered over for a closer look while I was locating the cache. I took shelter in the waiting room to sign the log, thanks.

From the recent logs I expected to be disappointed here but I was able to step over the electric fence and make furtively for the station building where I quickly found the cache. The donkeys seemed unperturbed by my presence.

I took a couple of photos of what remains of the station before skipping back over the fence.

It's certainly a problematic situation, I'm glad I wasn't spotted by whoever has commandeered what could still be public land.

Thanks for placing this cache Jimmymaff.

27-Jan-17
I would have liked to find this as I'm sure I won't be back this way again but there was an electric fence all around the area. I see others have noted this as well. A shame........

17-Jan-16
Couldn't get in cause of the electric fence. Farmer not obliging either. Will be calling council

02-Jan-16
Well - I couldn't get to this one. I'm sure the land doesn't belong to the farmer, but he certainly seems to have claimed it as his own, with his donkeys in there, and an electric fence all around! I couldn't find where to turn it off. Maybe you could move the cache out of the enclosure, or, let people know how to turn it off? Nice station though.

29-Dec-15
My family and I pulled off the main road and soon enough I had a scary encounter with the electric fence. Then What I saw on the other side was not the cache but some beautiful little donkeys. My Geodad EverestHigh had already used the GPS and found it By the time I even got there. The friendly donkeys led me to the area of the cache when I realised that their resting place was at GZ .Great cache !!!!!!SmileBig Grin TFTC Jimmymaff SmileBig Grin !!!!!!

We were driving from Melbourne to Jindabyne when out of the blue M4nd1 asks if there is a cache nearby. Being in the middle of nowhere we assumed there wasn’t but checked never the less. Wow there is one just a few meter up. We quickly pulled over and for a moment thought it was in private property. On close analysis of the location found a way to get closer by car. Wow, a train station in the middle of nowhere. Got some great postcard quality photos and a few hours’ worth of research and conversation regarding the abandon train line. Yet still have some questions like, when the train line ran did it pass through private property and if so where the owner compensated or does the government own the narrow piece of land and now that its abandoned the land owner have claimed it? Never the less, we glad M4nd1 asked and that we stopped.

On our way to explore Bombala and hadn't done any caching preparation.Spotted the lovely old abandoned station and said to each other "great place for a geocache" and luckily Jimmymaff thought the same thing! What a great place to stop and explore. Able to fit our path tag in the container. Thank you Jimmymaff.

Today was the fifth day of our excursion out of Tasmania touring from Melbourne to Canberra and return via Gippsland. We visited a number of towns and areas today between Cann River in Victoria and Cooma in New South Wales, via Jindabyne and we were lucky enough to find some caches along the way. The day started very foggy but cleared quickly to a fine day with changing proportions of blue skies and broken cloud. Seeing this now abandoned railway siding reminded us how important the railway was to the development of many areas of Australia but, with the improvements to all forms of transport, particularly road transport, the importance of railways declined and the demise of railway stations and sidings is a very clear reminder of the changes. It took a few minutes of hunting around but the cache was soon located. TFTC Jimmymaff.

A lovely little station that was very picturesque. I was amazed that the place hasn't been trashed yet. The neighbour came out to check out what we were doing, but just moved his sheep and went back inside. Cache found a few metres away from where the GPS was saying. A normal hide in the end. Found with Daedalos on our caching holiday.

Very nice spot to take a break from the driving.
We had just seen a snake on the road and we became more alert about snakes in the area. We did not see any near the cache.
It is amazing that this building could still be in the area. The train tracks had some shrubs growing around it.

On the first day of 2011 we were travelling via Dalgety to Bombala and to Bendoc in Victoria to explore Erinundra NP. The local map by Cartoscope shows the abandoned railway to Cooma. Love abandoned railways and rail trails. 'That looked like an old rail station, let’s turn back for a look. Bets on for a cache to be found.' Great spot, hope station doesn’t get blown away for a long time yet. I guess the neighbour with the old railcars keeps an eye on things. Spacious camping by the river at Dalgety with the pub a stone throw away looked inviting for next time.

Our first cache stop on our trip to Sale and this one was a must (and you will know why it was good to get this one firstWink). Once we arrived at GZ Ju and So headed off with the GPSr and started looking in some obvious places but didn't come up with the find. Once I made it there I soon had the cache located.
