As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Considering that since March last year, there have only been dnf's, and a few of those, and the CO hasn't logged in since April, I think this one needs to be archived to make space for other placements.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Waimak council doing a great job maintaining the cemetery but covered it with lots of new compost
No luck for me today. There seems to be a few round here needing to be checked.
Had a look for this with Busy Paws for quite a while and as the previous log says there has been some clearing around that particular area and no matter how much we looked we just couldn't see it at all. Not to mention we had a lady wandering around giving us a slightly strange look so we decided it was best if we moved on.
Out with Geo Jessie and no luck here. As previously mentioned, lots of clearance recently so I wonder if it has gone.
Hi. We live close by and there has been much pruning/clearing in this area recently!
Found during the Mega weekend on bit of a tiki-tour around the Canterbury back blocks. Great weather, great caches, great fun! Thanks to all the cache owners for putting out and maintaining caches for us to find. All in all, a fun road trip with Boxhill and Yeetrees, we signed many of the logsheets as YGB to save both time and logsheet spaces.

11.45am. Took a while to find this one as the co-ords had us in a different place and the clue talked about a tree but there ain't no tree there.
Finally got our hands on it.

11.45am. Think the ghost had shifted the cache slightly but perseverance won out yet again. Tftc M&P with the Pud and Oscatello.
Found it after a bit of a hunt. Apologies for being so late logging this. Found during the Mega weekend. TFTC
Took a bit of searching for this one, but eventually tracked it down. Not a puss in sight. Tnlnsl tftc
A plan was hatched way back in April to bring a group of crazy cachers from the South Auckland area for a weekend of lovely caching at the Mega. For most of us it was our first Mega and what a blast we had. From the first event cache at the Airport, surprising one of our group with a birthday trip to the Mega (literally 30min warning to boarding!), meeting lots of like minded people around the Kaiapoi district and to the manic days caching to late, late in the night with our mega flags flying we all had such a great time.
All logs were signed as SEAC South East Auckland Crew. Sorry for the cut and paste log, but all the trails, trads and tricks imagined by all the local CO’s were fantastic. Thank you to everyone for their wonderful hides. TFTC!

Part of the “South East Auckland Crew” here for the Christchurch Mega. All logs done as “SEAC”. Sorry for the Generic logs…but when logging 200 in a day it can be a bit much. But thank you so much for placing all these awesome caches
Came down to Christchurch for the 2015 MEGA with a group of caching buddies for the weekend. My first MEGA, and it was fantastic- loved every minute, the caching, the events, meeting other like-minded crazies (sorry, I mean cachers!!!). Our group found 283 caches throughout the course of the of the weekend, so apologies for the cut and paste logs- but it's going to take me hours to log them all!!!! All logs were signed as SEAC (South East Auckland Crew), to reflect out home caching base!
HUGE thanks to all involved in putting on the MEGA event, and also to all of the Chch CO's for the effort gone to in their hides- we found some awesome caches, including fantastic hides, and cleverly done camo.... well done Christchurch, you're an awesome bunch!
Took a few pairs of eyes, and a bit of searching.... we also found lots of rubbish, eeeeww....
Thanks for the hide!!!

Day 2 of our MEGA whirlwind trip, with a little more socializing in store, and attend a few of the organised lectures/information sharing meetings...
Logs signed as 'SEAC' (South, East, Auckland, Crew) to save space and time logging.
Thanks to all the CO's for setting and maintaining the caches found...and DNF'd...

Good wee spot. Little Crood L found it. Swapped card for marble. Left trackable for a more experienced worldly traveller.
This took me a while to locate as the GPS couldn't settle. Finally got there and was pleased the container was big enough to fit the Miss Piggy TB. TFTC
2nd find of the day for the Wombeling Woozles... great kids getting into this. .. nice to swap tftc
I was a bit worried when I saw the tree pruning but soon found the cache

The PD team came back while I was still there and started clearing away the cut branches and debris right where the cache was. I rescued the cache and explained geocaching to the men. I left the cache in the bush and the men promised to leave it there.
So sad. This used to be the most beautiful peaceful place when I was younger. Brought my son to see my favourite head stone- 'As you are now, so once was I. As I am now, so you will be, so be prepared to follow me.' Creepy but cool
Found it after about 3 min of searching. My Second find also added in a spinning top toy.
this is one of the most unkept resting places we have seen for a long time, no toms around today tftc
I hope GingerTom was a good Anglican if he haunts the Anglican Cemetery... no sign of him today even with lots of sunshine for him to snooze in. Eventually found his hidey hole though.
Took awhile to find but after getting another clue from people that had found it we did too
#15 of 24 today. I've almost cleaned out all the Rangiora caches I hadn't already done. No sign of Tom but I DID find the cache.

I like the sentiment in the story behind the cache but no cats in sight today. Although we would see afew later while doing 'Wombles-BBTs' Ally Cat series. Coords abit out but we got there eventually. Thanks for the cache

Went out on a caching trip with one of 2wombles, and lookingforthebroc, making the most of a semi cold mid-winter free saturday to go crazy and get more than just our one a day! Woo Hoo!!!
So piled on into the car - for a slightly later than expected head out as my GPS was being mean, and ended up refusing to load caches on!! GRRR!!!
The second of a bunch of cemetaries we visited on this cache run! Who would have thought that Rangiora would have quite so many cemetaries!
Consec caching day # 608

Out finding caches in Rangiora with 2wombles and Sonia26642 on this beautiful, crisp day. Probably not too many of these left before the cold hits. Seriously, how many cemeteries does Rangiora have? The usual jokes were made about people dying to live here, that this was a grave topic, and it got worse from there. Cheers NZTIKES for the cache!
Quick find on a gorgeous July day. Miss 9 played an awesome game of football around the corner, so we grabbed some caches while we're out this way
No kitty anywhere to be seen... Although Miss 9 swears she heard one in the bushes!!

Out on a night raid with Team_Gaters. The weather was holding out and it was warm. Once we hit the country side there were so many stars out. Quick find at GZ. No pen tonight! Lucky I had TG Nice camo, but spotted the cache from a familiar blue.
Thanks for the cache.

Found it under the chopped down bit of tree. If not for the blue sides I would not have seen it for the clever camo covering. Nice.
We first went to the wrong cemetery thinking there is no ivy here but moved on and had to walk coz the ivy was on the complete other side. We spent a great deal of time looking and just couldn't see it but was looking to hard as the cache was not covered up. Found, logged, dropped TB and left. TFTC
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Today we travelled from Kaikoura to Christchurch, picking up a few caches along the way. A quick find here, tucked in behind the now cut down tree, but no ginger cat today! TFTC!
