This is the 3rd of 3 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
[red]We spent quite some time here at around 12:19:00 PM, but we just couldn't locate your cache, so a DNF from us.

Hi there Skeptimite,
Your cache "The Cache of the Sandgate Pier" was last found on 4/03/2015, 160 days ago, and has had 18 DNF's since that time..
Is there any chance you could do a maintenance run to confirm if it is still there - - and replace it if it isn't.
If that's not possible then please archive the cache so that the spot can be freed up for someone else to use.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Being a Dr Who fan from way back (since B&W TV days with William Hartnell as the 1st Dr Who!), I thought I'd find as many as I could in the Monster Lane series this afternoon. Only had a half-hearted look as I wasn't too hopeful of finding it because of all the previous DNFs. Sure enough, didn't find it. But I'll come back after the CO has checked it out.
Rick and I looked and looked.
I climbed in things, on things, over things, around things.
Much evidence of Muggles breaching the area, but no cache.
There have been a few logs of did not find now, you might want to check this one out.

Our First DNF as part of a 24hour cache run with 5 other kiwi's while at the OZMEGA2014 Murray Bridge (Alpenmilch80, Slieschke, Vistra, Yorkshirekiwi83 & funkymunkyzone) on Friday 18th April. All logs were signed as "NZ Fun"
We had a great time and throughly enjoyed the challenge that this presented to us all, thank you to the cache owners for being able to create such a range of caches for us to complete.
We started our run at Signal, through to OZ MEGA 2014, The Wandering Hero's, Tour de France with many other caches along the way. For all that we managed we only had 11 DNF's in the whole trip which for the numbers was pretty amazing in its own right.
So again thank you for the NZ FUN

Next time.......

Didn't find it this time round. Some great views though! Geokid took the photo.
No luck on this one today. Little man freaked out walking through a spider web so that curtailed our search for now.
Gps all over the shop but got it eventually tftc

TFTC,
Enjoying the walk between Shorecliff and Sandgate before going home.
Visited some trackables.

Third attempt yielded a result. Dunno how we missed that one twice. Swapped a couple of items.
Little miss 5 with us today so not a very long walk. Our mission for today .... get to the playground just up ahead. Quickly nipped in and picked up this cache before heading around the bend to the playzone!
Didn't think we were going to find it before getting eaten alive by mozzies, when suddenly one of my boys found it! Added an item to the cache, as nothing much in there. Great day for geocaching

Today spinna76, *SuzySquirrel*, MinkosDes and I decided we would bike it in the sweltering, stifling, sticky heat to grab some little Monsters among other things. I hope you excuse my copy and paste logs and our logging as S.S.S.M.

Whilst trying to avoid the view of the local fisherman the team all went in for the find. It was not before long that the nice sized cache was in hand. We all signed the log and had a look over the cache before placing it back home.
This cache was part of *SuzySquirrel*, Stacevel, spinna76 and I's sweaty adventure of Monster Lane today. After getting an invite from the team to join them on an adventure down to the Big Smoke, I was excited (as I am anytime a cache is involved). I was even more excited to hear that it was to concur the ever so famous [xx(] Monster Lane . Back in July 2014, I started this great trail with Fairy Mother and we started it on foot, that's right, foot! We grabbed the first half of the trail and ended our great walk at the bay. Well, today may have felt like cycling in an oven though doing it on bikes, compared to foot, is just awesome. Plus, the company was alright too...
Thanks for the cache Skeptimite.

#916 @ 3:01 pm. A Monster Lane adventure today with spinna76, Stacevel and MinkosDes. Was here a year ago tomorrow and nearly died walking it. Today we have bikes so I am hoping for a better result. TFTC AquaMan_Au!
#904 @ 3:01 PM Out caching with Stacevel, *SuzySquirrel* and MinkosDes today doing Monster Lane and other caches along the way. Logging as I'm going so I apologise for copy paste logs. Logged as S.S.S.M. ~ TFTC AquaMan_Au
Well, we stayed quite a lot of time to try to find it but we were unlucky today. But no worries, we were already on our way to so many others
Out for a morning's caching to finally make a start on Monster Lane and this was my starting point. Took a little bit of searching but once I looked at the D/T rating it helped narrow the search area and the cache was soon in hand. Picked up a TB.
After a visit to the new children's hospital today, we thought we'd stop and get a cache or two before heading back home (and before the storm hit).
We parked up at Shorncliffe pier and headed North. This was our first find and was nice and easy for Mr 7. Dropped off a TB looking to head to Darwin.
May need a new log soon.

My three month Brisbane adventure has started. Day 18, Redcliffe, fourth full day.
Mum's wanting to sort out her house prior to selling up and moving, and she's going to work on her bedroom today, so there's nothing for me to put out for her. So today I get an easy day - the GeoSchnauzers and I are off geocaching again. I've put the emergency call button on Mum's wrist. I've now collected the GeoSchnauzers, gallons of ice water, my caching kit, and my hat. It's a cooler and cloudier day than yesterday, with a promise of a good breeze around noon. Today we're heading for the waterfront at Sangate and Shorncliff.
No 4 of 11 today. Thanks, Skeptimite. Good natural hide for such a big cache. Well done. I like a challenge. This one took us a while, but as the pier is closed for restoration, there weren't too many muggles around. The GeoSchnauzers had a quiet time, except for the odd seagull.

We did this geocache on the impulse of the moment. Didn'thave a pen with us to write. We saw the blue colour - might be good to disguise colour to fit in with surroundings ) Lovely walk, though. Thanks! X
We had this cache in hand without too much trouble. We managed to retrieve the cache without drawing the attention of the near by fishermen and were soon on out way. TFTC!

TFTC, Recovered and returned. A huge cache and I think I almost stepped on it in my search. That was fun! A few items traded for my token Magic: The Gathering cards. Yay to big troves, perfect for the kids and adults alike. A nice grab along monster lane, although not sure if the lane or this one was her first!
Took a few minutes and when we found it we thought the size of it, how did we miss that!!!

I had wanted to start the Monster Lane series for a while and today was the day. Whistling Kite and I brought our bikes and after going in search for the local earth cache (for International Earth Cache Day) we set out to find a few caches along the foreshore, ML along with various other caches. It was a splendid day, albeit a bit windy, and we enjoyed our ride.
This one not being part of the ML series was still worthwhile of course. I love the fact that there are so many caches on the foreshore. This was a relative easy find and it was closely guarded by a very quiet and friendly guardian.

Found while on holiday with loop1968, we decided on a day at the sea side for some caches. TFTC
A fine and sunny Thursday morning so of course there were lots of muggles about. Quick look here. No. Wait.... Quick look there no. Umm. Wait some more. Quick opportunity for another look and there it is. Blend into tree as signing log. Place back. Now to start my walk. TFTC.
Our first cache
We cheated
We saw some people looking around in the bush and our friends explained what this was all about.
Not too proud to claim a find thought.
Woohoo !!!!
