Quick stop for this one on the way to the supermarket, I’ve seen this church from the road while passing many times.
Cache was found loose and not hidden amongst the undergrowth and is in a bad way. One clip is broken and there’s a lot of moisture damage, the log is saturated and unusable, the trinkets appear to be intact. We have rehidden.
Just watch searching around for it it appears people have answered the call of nature there and nearby so care is needed to avoid.

Hi ya, please check my log for details on damage and photo. It’s still there to be found but was unable to log our visit in the logbook
We have often thought about this cache as we drive past. Today was the perfect day to try and find it, but no luck in the obvious place. Will have to try again another day.
I pass by here regularly, so today as I had time detoured to make this a smiley face. Thanks for hiding bluedaklia.co.nz.
Having done mount Williams, thought it rude to not stop here on the way back. Nice easy park and grab, sistema clip on one side broken, otherwise all intact
Last one of the day. Stop at Pokeno for ice cream. Busy as there today. Always drive past the church and you know when you see it not far till the motorway now. Tftc
Slight detour off the highway to this lovely old church.

So yesterday I found a cache on the beach at Hot Water Beach. I was happy! The cache contained a tb. I was even happier! Until I found out (too late to go back) that the tb wants to stay in New Zealand. And we're flying back home tomorrow. What to do? Take the tb home and find someone who travels to NZ? Send the tb to an owner of a cache in NZ? No, better put it in a large enough cache along the road to the airport. Luckily my non-caching husband who drives the car was cooperative so we stopped at this lovely little wooden church and I quickly dropped the tb in the easily found cache. Mission accomplished!
A good, quick little find done in conjuction with a visit to the nearby dog park.
The container has lost its clack, one of its fasteners. I wedged it in place but it could use some attention next time you’re nearby.
We stopped off here to go to the nearby dog park! Good for @Lui_thedog to stretch his legs. Lovely old church building. I’ve passed it many times but now I’ve stopped to admire it. TFTC

Nice easy find and beautiful spot to stretch our legs. Dropped off a voodoo trackable but there is no sign of the other trackable listed. Tftc
Nice and easy find, retrieved a trackable, the golden dolphin seems to be missing though
Beautiful church - lovely spot! Not a difficult find I tried to rehide a little better TFTC!
What a nice church. Glad this cache gave me an excuse to take the small diversion up the hill to visit it. Dropped of some TB's. TFTC
On way to Auckland to visit KrystalKath's Mother we spotted the spire of St Mary's.
Needing to de-water Tama the geohound gave us an excuse to visit. Easy cache find. Dipped TB. TFTC

We have driven past this church for years and it has always been a landmark to show we were about to reach the motorway but today we decided to detour for a closer look.
A couple of muggles had just arrived and stopped for a smoke break so we had to wait for them to finish and move on but we didn't mind as it gave us a chance to walk around and look at the church.
Once the coast was clear we began to look for the cache but had to stop again when another muggle car turned up and drove by very slowly, it looked like they were a bit lost.
Finally all was quiet again and we made the find.
This is a great spot for a cache. Thanks bluedahlia.

Last cache for now as I'm driving north, before I get onto the motorway. Nice quiet place to stop, TFTC
On our 40th day in New Zealand we travelled from Whitianga to Paihia. We knew that this would be a long day driving with just time for a few caches. Unfortunately there was a severe accident on the way and we had to turn around and take another route and so the journey got even longer. Hope that the people involved in the accident will soon get well again.
This here was another short stop. What a nice church. The box was soon found and logged.
TFTC and greetings from Switzerland

TFTC

Found as per description. TFTC. One of the clips has cone off the container FYI.
On a road trip up North with McJandals grabbing a few caches before we hit the motorway. Random van parked right next to it, but we went for it anyway.

Our third visit to this beautiful country and this time for a family wedding in Tutukaka. After that we will travel south exploring and finding some caches along the way.
Signed and replaced all of them as we found them.
Thanks to the CO's for placing these caches and keeping the game alive.

Today we had a trip from Coromandel to Whangarei on the plan, thereby visiting many other locations near the road and coast and looking for caches, too. On this trip we searched, found and logged a lot of caches. The weather was good all day long with only partly some small clouds.
Almost no muggels observed us as they had other things to do than observing harmless geocachers.
Thanks to 'bluedahlia.co.nz' for showing us this location and for the fun we had at 'Saint on the Hill (North Waikato)'. The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

School holiday trip to Auckland/Coromandel with the family. After a couple nights at Hot Water, a few at Tauranga and a final night in Miranda it was now time to head back to Auckland; return the rental car and fly back home to Christchurch. Can never turn down a good church. Stopped for a quick find and sign. Turned out to be the last cache of the day...from here on to the motorway & into the airport to drop the car & sort ourselves to fly back to Christchurch. A fun trip. Cheers!
Heading on a slow trip to Tauranga with Ayden4asmile and Huntsman2015. After not trusting the GPS and finding a couple of hint items down the road we came back to the start and cache was in hand.
Love these beautiful old buildings hidden away!

Wow beautiful church. Took a bit to get my bearings but found the cache quickly once I had that sorted. Great little place to stop. Tftc
Heading north for a few days ....I have put off getting cache for a while as I am usually in a rush ....today I decided I have driven past here too many times and I must get it ....found a park quite close to the cache ....and a quick look a round and soon had the container in hand ...signed the log and returned as found ....only time for a cursory glance at the wonderful on church and then on the road thanks bluedahlia for the nice placement
We are usually on a mission and pass this cache by, but today was the day! Headed up the hill and nice parking spot conveniently close to the cache. Cache found and signed. This is a lovely church h, but no time to look at it properly. Thanks for the cache placement bluedahlia.co.nz
I'm on a rare solo drive down to meet up with the other Tregonnings in Tauranga, so taking the opportunity to make a few stops en route. Great old church, Thackray for drawing my attention to it!
A last minute change in the family's plans for today meant I had an unexpected few hours to myself. Mulled over the options for getting out and about, given the weather wasn't great, and decided on a country road tiki tour picking up a few caches that I've been meaning to grab for a while. Busy road along here this afternoon in the rain and I was glad to pull off the road again. Lovely little spot here. Good co-ords & a helpful hint meant I was able to put my hand on the cache straight away, cache all good, thanks for the hide.
Gevonden!
Back on the road again for another international trip. This time to Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and South Korea.
Like our previous trips we focussed on old caches, high favorites, rare cache types and pretty locations.
Most of the trip was together with Plaguerider, Zanna and FLtravelers, but some of it I did solo.
Logs were signed as DATT (Do All The Things) and if there were answers, we typically sent them as a group.
Thanks for maintaining the caches for us.

**Trip log:**
Found during Team DATT's (Do All The Things) annual international caching trip consisting of FLtravelers, PlagueRider, waterfan5 and myself. Africa kicked it all off back in 2016, with a follow up European tour last year. I tried to pitch Asia but the pull of the Great Ocean Road and completing our 6th continent was too strong, and we landed on week long road trips through both Australia and New Zealand. Before meeting the team in Sydney though, I was able to schedule some layovers in Asia (Beijing, Bangkok and Singapore), so in the end I got a bit of everything. =)
**New Zealand Day 9 - Auckland -> Tauranga:**
Our first full day in the country. We took our time driving down to Tauranga, grabbing some target caches around Auckland while enjoying the awesome views of the city. We stopped at a beautiful waterfall along the way and got to our Airbnb at the base of Mount Maunganui by early afternoon. We spent the rest of the day exploring the area on foot.
**Cache Log:**
Quick stop for a new county.

We’re on our annual international geocaching trip as Team DATT (Do All The Things) comprised of FLtravelers, PlagueRider, waterfan5, and zanna. This year we chose to explore Australia and New Zealand. Zanna and I decided to do a two-day stopover in Beijing, a three-day stopover in Bangkok, and a 12-hour layover in Singapore on our way to meet up with the rest of the team in Sydney.
Once we got the Team back together, we made a “bee-line” to Lane Cove and various caches around Sydney. Then we headed down the coast on A1. After visiting Wasp Head, we headed up through Canberra and down M31 to Melbourne, after a webcam stop on Mount Buller.
We had a great time in Melbourne, which is my favorite city in Australia so far, then onto the Great Ocean Road, the highlight of Australia for this trip. After a couple days (not nearly enough) we left the ocean road and headed up A6 towards Victor Harbor (webcam) and Adelaide (webcams) for our flight to Auckland. Seems we found every webcam in Australia.
After a short week in Australia, we flew into Auckland and continued with our explorations in New Zealand. We drove over to Tauranga, and then down to Rotorua and Taupo, enjoying the thermal features. We headed down 5 to Napier, with stops at a couple of waterfalls, and then down to Wellington to catch the ferry to the South Island.
We spent the night in Picton, and then over to the awesome west coast, before crossing over Arthur’s Pass on our way to Christchurch for flights home.
We targeted old caches, highly favorited caches, earthcaches, virtuals, and of course webcam caches, and anything else that got our interest along the way. Logs were signed DATT. Answers, where required, were sent by one of the team members. Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of our trip with this cache. Great spot.

Found on a rainy day together with Greenkiwikids. Left some new swaps. We also found a pathtag and retrieved it, because we thought it was a Geocoin. Never heard of pathtags before. Will find out soon.
Nice church and an easy find due to the hint. Tftc. All still dry inside.

First cache on our trip from Auckland to Gisborne. Hopefully it’s first of many. TFTC
Been meaning to call in here for ages. Finally managed it for a quick park and grab.
We were off on a bit of a trip towards the Hauraki Plains to take a look at an earthcache and decided to add a few stops along the way and this was one of them. We quite like these caches placed near country churches and while we were a little concerned it being Sunday the parishioners might have been about, it turned out they were up the road in the church at Pokeno so we were all good.
As it turned out we did not need to go anywhere that would disturb the locals at worship and found the cache quickly thanks to the helpful hint. As others note, one of the clips has broken off but at this stage the cache does not seem to be letting any water in so all good. Signed the log and replaced out of the sight of prying eyes. Thanks for the cache, all is well here.

What a beautiful little church on the hill. Cache and contents dry. Thanks for the nice park n grab.
I strolled over to ground zero and searched for a short time . The coords are right on the mark.
The cache is in good condition and the log paper is nice and dry. I took nothing, left nothing, and signed the log paper.
I carefully replaced the cache right back where I found it.

Nice place to hide this one. The lid has lost on of its clips so water may get in.
#273. Found with kids on the way back to Auckland from a nice, enjoyable long weekend at Waihi Beach. Found quickly, with the help of the hint. TFTC.
Always enjoy coming to these old historic locations, thanks for bringing me here. *TFTC bluedahlia.co.nz, #9289*
This cache was lying out in the open when I drove up. It made it easy to find! I put it back in its hiding spot.
Time to head back down the line after my week in Whangarei. Was originally planning to stay in Hamilton, but didn't realise the All Blacks were playing there tonight, so then looked at Taupo, but all accommodation is booked out there too, so Rotorua ended up being my target for the day, caching on the way. First stop off the motorway. Quickly found, signed and returned. TFTC
Thanks for the hide! Left a cute pair of earrings and a pencil in the cache, and removed something that was inappropriate. The cache itself is missing one of the clips so the inside is a bit damp.
So Railwalker and I (Walk-Away-Renee) finally did it! We finally created a joint account! It takes having a kid to make this happen. Now we are finally merging our stats. So, using GSAK we are logging this cache and it should be dated by the oldest time found by either one of our accounts (so look for a post created by either RailWalker or Walk-Away-Renee). We greatly appreciate your hard work for making that cache possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us.
Once again thank you for your time and energy put into this cache/event. The hobby of Geocaching would not be possible without the likes of you to support the community!
