Found while out caching for the day with The 2 Wanderers. Looked all around where this one was, but it was Mr wanderer who found the cache. A good hide. A nice roadside stop. TFTC
Took a couple of looks at the suspected spot before noticing. A farmer was ploughing up dust over the fence. TFTC McAdies
On the way from Ballarat to Dunkeld we stopped for a few caches. It started off with a failure but fortunately got better and the average improved.

Thanks McAdies.
Thanks McAdies.
Found on a roadtrip to SA with my geobuddy BJ. Loved the hide... it could have been made for the container TNLN. TFTC McAdies
22/04/2014 12:53 Find #2634 . It may have been raining lightly but that didn't deter Facitman and I from enjoying a relatively quick find
Cheers McAdies

The rain that had been threatening all day finally started as we approached this cache site. We still managed to scoot out of the car and make a find before it really started raining.
Thanks McAdies for a good quick find (give the rain!)

Found with Gonefishen07 on our way to Murray bridge for the Mega Event. Thanks for taking the time placing this cache. TFTC
Found with Zobo04 on our way to OZ Mega. A nice quick drive by. Added a bit more cover to cache as it was pretty easy to spot. Off to casterton to find a cache so I can fill in another gap on my UBD map challenge TFTC
Decided to take the Glenelg Highway for our trip to South Australia, just for a change. After a late start, decided to stop here for lunch and a quick cache. An easy find. TFTC. TNLN.
When we arrived at this location there was a large prime mover hauling a large excavator. We thought that we might have problems looking for the cache but the driver was checking the chains holding the load and was on the opposite side. Thankfully we were able to make a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache McAdies.
Pulled up for this cache. Wife said we found it, last year. Went and checked the cache. Sure enough I've signed it, almost 12 months ago to the day. It looks like I forgot to upload it. Sorry guys. The log states that I left an Olympic mascot and took a TB. Log date was 29/01/2013. Tftc, finally.1/27/14, 11:08 AM Find #589
Australia Day! A great time to catch up with the family, do a spot of camping and of course find a few caches. We were off to Lake Bolac to spend an extra long weekend of fishing, telling a few stories and a round of golf.
Of course, the fishing and golf provided great fodder for the story telling, the fish that got away or the golf shot that was almost a hole-in-one so a self-perpetuating vicious cycle was created.
Alas, today I had to pack up and head off early as I needed to be elsewhere for the day.
After saying bye to the family I was off to Ballarat.....grabbing a few sneaky caches on the way.
I pulled up to this one and found it easy enough. As I was uncovering the cache I looked around and noticed that someone had used the space about 3 metres from the cache as a toilet.
Pigs.
After shaking my head I signed the log (the one in the cache) and headed off.
Be careful where you walk around here folks.....

Just managed this one before the rain came as we travelled from Hamilton back to Melbourne. Ate our lunch in the car to avoid getting wet...Those soldier settlers!!

Fortunately I had parked the box in wheels in such a manner that I could search via headlight; the cache was quickly located and I quickly departed, but not too quick, there were quite a few police cars on the prowl. Thanks McAdies for the cache
Rated: for Overall Experience
This cache was found quite quickly even in the dark. But be warned there are a lot of puddles that are hard to see in the dark.
Thanks
Thanks
They should call these dust trees!! Finally found it tonight, didn't realize I was half standing on it. Nice place to stop and stretch the legs thanks
Suscoe's 13th find of the day after having lunch at the old skipton roadhouse.
A quick find as the rain started to come down in a serious manner.
Log signed and the cache rehidden.
The old roadhouse used to be our half way stop when the kids were young, it still looks pretty much like it did way back then.
Nice to rememeber those days.

Sorry McAdies for the generic log but I'm trying to catch up on my logging, I currently have over 1000 to log before hitting some powertrails in the US after the block party next week. As always I enjoy the hunt whether I'm solo or with some of my caching or muggle friends. Thanks to those who have accompanied me to make the day more pleasurable and many thanks McAdies for placing this cache.
The location was clear for the hunt today and a quick find was made in what was actually quite a good hide! There was a B= something under the lid which I noted but in fact I don't think that it means anything. Thanks to McAdies for the cache.
A new caching day dawned over the flatlands of mid-westish Victoria
I was soon on the trail of any strays that had got away
Out here it were not the cattle that stray, it were the sheep, baa !!
On the quiet backroads I was constantly slowing down for them
A couple of kilometres west of Mooramong Rest I finally found a 'main road'.
At Mooramong Rest I needed one after all the wooly wether I had been encountering.
I checked the memorial, lest it be something other than an olde school site, soldier settler site or a memorial to Angus McMillan
Oh hang on, delete the reference to Angus, I'm not in Gippsland yet
Plaque read, I moved on to find the cache.
Easy find, but well concealled, and out of the pooh zone.... which in unusual in rest areas
TFTC, I swapped the "Jeep 4x4 #2734" TB for the "Terrific Tuesday" TB.

A slow trip across to Mt Gambier with Bettyboo3747, lots of diving to be done.
Seen a few of these plaques describing the land issue in the local area. We had a quick look, and then ferreted out the cache nearby.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 2777. Robmc and I were travelling between Melbourne and Mount Gambier today and this was one of several caches collected along the way. We had a nice variety of hides and not many micros, which was wonderful.
We pulled off the highway for this one and while Rob headed to look for the cache I stopped to read the plaque. As he hadn't found it I headed in to look at a likely spot and it was certainly well camouflaged, so should remain a safe hide here. Left: Train TB. TFTC

#3625 Dad had all the driving and caching duties today & one of us was incapacitated and the other had more interest in the DSi . When we arrived there was a vehicle there but it departed just as Dad was ready to head over to the cache - top timing! The cache was found well hidden and in good condition. Our thanks to McAdies for the break from driving. Ta

Another quick stop off and a chance to stretch the legs for a short while.

Found at 2.35pm on our annual journey to Mount Gambier. This was one of a few close to the highway still to find - we stopped a few years back but it was hot - the grass was long and the mossies terrible so had left - today the site was a lot cleaner the grass short but still a few mossies. After a brief search the cache was found - glad to get this one markd off this time. Thanks McAdies
Had a day of fishing at Lake Bolac so this was an easy find on the way through. Made even easier because the container was lying out in the open. I replaced it where it looked right and a bit more under cover. TFTC
Parked near table and wandered to plaque. A campervan (in this large parking area) stopped within 20 M of us! Unthinking muggles or fellow cachers?
Went a round about way to find the cache. TNLNSL. Re-emerged from same round about way.

My trusty Pathfinder had recently blown a head gasket and the logistics of repairing it didn't add up so as I had been looking for a new car over the past few months on and off, it was time to actually look for and get one. Today myself and my two boys were off to Lake Bolac to look at a diesel Pajero and of course do some caching along the way.
After checking out the Pajero and taking it for a test drive we started on our way back home. I ended up getting a Prado as it turned out but it was good to take a few different cars for a drive to see what they were like.
This was our last find during our little trip. It took a little while to locate the cache but soon spotted it once we were in the right spot. Thanks McAdies.

Its been a long time since I used to pass here every day on the school bus. Some of the names on the plaque are familiar. Soldier settlers (and their families) sure did it tough. Thanks for highlighting this for us and for the cache.

Found on our two week expedition to the Oz Mega In Albury. SL TNLN TFTC. we thought about the ones who had transformed this land from the dense natural scrub into viable farming land. It must have broken their backs.
Great little spot that I haven't noticed before. We used to travel this road regularly quite a few years ago and not noticed it. Will most likely stop here for a cuppa on our travels in the future.
