I'm moving away from the area, and can't guarantee it would stay hidden from muggles.
As usual I had planned a night of caching with my good buddy jsmyong55. We had quite a number on the list, and I never thought we would get through them all. We did and then some! The final tally for the night has not yet been realised as there are both Geocaching Australia.com and Geocaching.com caches in the mix, but we both know we both grabbed over 50 caches each. To get jsmoyong55 over the line we detoured from a direct route to his home to get a few more. It was the first time for both of us to get over 50 so we were both pretty pleased with our efforts. This cache was one of those we grabbed. I didn't worry about the back gates until a muggle came out of one ten metres away. The cache was found easily. Thanks danozz
This one we found a bit scary due to a four wheel drive parked in the laneway and a couple of scary men hanging out right by the fence, but we managed to pull it off successfully as we ran away with our second cache for the day. Tftc

I liked this cache. Urban caches often make me nervous because I worry about how suspicious I am looking but this one largely avoided that problem. Good co-ordinates and a nice easy find in a discreet location.

My gps brought me to the wrong alley and I had my hands going down wrong places. But once I refreshed my map and headed to GZ I found it immediately.definitely smelly, had to wash off after that. SL and TFTC
I love finding a good sized urban cache, thanks! SL took bird and left Super Mario Robo Boo >^•^<
Interesting place for a hide we drove down here and decided that parking and grab was not an option.
we parked on the nearby street and toddled back down to GZ, I was completely off, but thankfully PrincessDiala's GPS was spot on.
We quickly found the cache.

Found in the company of coley_babee.
We drove down the lane/alley and didn't see anywhere we'd be able to park.
I was expecting something smaller and have seen that particular container at work before!
Thanks danozz for this cache.

Have now completed all of danozz's caches. Looking forward to some more in the future.
Back to the start of danozz history but underwhelmed after the brilliance of his puzzles. Moody location on a foggy night.
Interesting 'aroma' near GZ, think I'll bring some disposable gloves for the next lane! Straight forward find T4TC.

Found at 2125h
Car broke down so I had to walk home. Took a detour to strike this cache off the list.
Relatively easy find even in the dark. One car in the laneway with their headlights on. Waited till they were gone to search for it. Didn't have a pen so couldn't sign log. Tried to take a picture with my phone but it went flat before I could due to all the gps activity. It's one stinky ally in the wet.

Found by Mary & David at 1725. We're not comfortable in locations like this. We didn't come across anyone at their back gate, but two cars arrived while we were there, so we were very glad of a quick find and a hasty departure. Our thanks to danozz.
Quick find, it shows how quiet some laneways can be. Contents dry after the 3 inches of rain last night. TNLN TFTC
Nice easy find; I love Melbourne alley ways, exploring them while caching is a nice way to spend a day! TNLN TFTC

After going into the wrong alleyway first, miss 7 suggested that there might be another close by -- and there was! 3rd find for the day with team panamier. TNLN TFTC!
B.B.B. and The Girls were driving through North Melbourne and this one seemed close, so we went for it and it wasn't too hard to find, although the girls were a bit wary there may have been creepy crawlies, the thrill of the search put those fears at bay.. Thanks Danozz (direct?)
Found on my my home from a meeting in the big smoke today @ ~17:30, #166 for the juc_cachers.
This was a nice easy find, after pulling out of the peak-hour traffic on Flemington Rd and strolling around the corner. Although the CO said the locals rarely use their doors on the lane, as I was filling in the (somewhat musty and mouldy, but still intact) log, a muggle in a white ute decided to back slowly into his driveway, right where the main lane and the offshoot meet ! I couldn't do a thing about it, so hopefully he thought I'd just stopped there to relieve myself or something ! I hastily stuffed the log back in, replaced the cache as found and scarpered, so apologies to the next finder if the log is a bit scrunched up.
These urban caches aren't really my usual thing, so I felt a bit odd skulking off down a back alley. Hopefully I will get better at caching in the city !
I will use this cache to kick off my assault on the Victoria Country Roads Challenge cache (GCY98X) by claiming Page 29. This puts the first notch in my shiny new UBD Victorian Cities and Towns Atlas, which I picked up today and which has replaced the original UBD Victorian Country Roads Atlas.
TNLN SL and thanks for the cache danozz.

04/03/2011 12:44 Found: #303 Took the #59 tram on the short trip to this cache. Lucky for me this was an easy traditional as the other danozz caches are a little trickier. Easy find but muggles were everywhere! Moved away from GZ to sign the log. When I opened the log I found that I am the 100th finder of this cache. Opened the little parcel to find a scratchy, and it is a WINNER! I am now fabulously wealthy. Thank you danozz! I have attached a photo of the winning ticket. Hmm should I buy Paris or maybe Rome? Anyway, I caught a tram back to work but was on a different line so found myself at Flagstaff station which worked out way better. Thanks again danozz for the cache and an end to poverty!
(NB: Now I am at home, I checked and I think I may actually be 102nd)

36degrees and cooking. Found on way home after awesome breakfast over in Kensington. Home for air-con. Left lego piece, took tazo. TFTC!
Found this one at night when no muggles around. Took geocoin and will relocate it soon.
Found this one today with SGGK whilst walking back to North Melbourne Station.

Log book quite damp - moisture has obviously been in there or is getting in slowly. Will post note after this log. TFTC danozz.
Hey danozz - might be an idea to revisit the waterproof-ness of the container (yep, I read your comments about it not being a concern). The book isn't soaked but is wet enough to make writing difficult. Container in good condition otherwise. Cheers.
Thanks for the maintenance note, I'm not getting the found logs sent to my email for some reason. I've blow dried the logbook and left it in a ziplock bag, the front pages got spotted with mould but they're still legible. I also cleaned out the container and added a matchbox car.
Found at 4:30PM on the 2nd of Jan by Ray and Maya. Easy find. TNLN TFTC The Nomads.
I spiraled in on this one as I expect many have done before me. I took a note book and left Coptic cross. Thanks danozz.

Despite all the rain yesterday, log and contents were dry as a chip.

I was on my way to Royal Park to find few early evening caches and hopped off from tram #57. When I realized there was a cache also at nearby alley, I took a short detour to log this one. Very quiet area after 6PM and very quick find and log. TFTC and Greetings from Finland.
Luckily we found a car park very close to the start of the alleyway as it started to rain just as we pulled up. We headed off and had to walk past gz as there was a muggle collecting his empty rubbish bins out of the lane way. Once he had gone back inside we followed the GPSr to gz for a nice easy find and added our name to the log, then replaced the cache and headed off. We're still not quite sure about the cache name

08.40am. i had hired a small car for some caching exploration out of the cbd and came here to find such an interesting area, lots of old colonial stuff.i found a place to search but it was the wrong one so after a little while i got myself round to the right place, then realised,a good hidey place and thank you for showing me this part of town, greetings from england.sltn.patandjeff=bones1.
These little alleyways are just great, what a fascinating area. Thanks for bringing us here, and for the cache.
I like this one. Good idea bringing people to these alleys. Hope you do so more. And don't worry about the container. The paper says today will be the wettest since 98 and that thing was snug and dry. BYO writing stick
Another night cache run with Marshy (Blacklegend17) and one of thirty finds for the night. Didn't find a ball of clay, only the cache. Cute little alley. Thanks for the hide.
1st of 30 with my caching mate Marty (Quasar3671). More night caches for us. No ball of clay, but an interesting alley. TFTC.
Found while walking in Royal Park this afternoon. Cache contents dry even though the area was quite damp. A lovely old tree. TFTC

I often pass close to this location along Flemington Road but I can't remember the last time I ventured into this part of North Melbourne. Town planners have now designed North Melbourne as a no thoroughfare zone - fortress Nth Melbourne - so you have to be going to visit someone or going for something (like a cache) to enter the area. Another little laneway that gives Melbourne its character! TFTC.

We ended in the wrong lane to start with but soon rectified and quickly had the cache.

A quick find in a leafy lane... being winter the leaves were on the ground though, not the trees.
I initially went down the wrong alley (near the billboards), but realised my mistake and went to the correct spot, where it was a very quick find. The container there now is a lot more solid and waterproof than the previous one sounded. I like back alleys like this in North Melbourne. Thanks for the cache.
A very quick easy find with Ms Wig today.. the laneway, although felt uneasy here, seems interesting.
Thanks danozz

While dropping a friend of at the airport,
I thought I should make a day of it,
it was sunny not to cold,
a perfect day to be caching,
so myself, and crustyvarmint, went on the search,
felt a bit weird looking sus in the alleys
got in and got out quick smart
this is number 10 of 13
