Annoying as it is, having solved this, there's been a string of DNFs since last find in 2015 — except cacher who 'found' what they'd just thrown down; and no response to NM in 3 weeks.

Note Groundspeak KB 4.12. Respond to "throwdowns": Throwdowns are strongly discouraged […] Cache owners are responsible for maintenance.

26-Jan-17
The last legitimate find on this cache was in 2015. The only subsequent find was logged on a throwdown which itself appears now to be missing. This could really do with some CO attention, or simply being archived.

Was excited a few weeks back to see the cache was back in action. Visited GZ this morning with the hope of a quick find. 15 minutes later, hands very dirty and recognising the area as in need of a CITO, I gave up again for now. Sad

#3008. Halloween. What a great time to do a bunch of night caches. After Mrs GSEL arrived back home with the geokids in full Halloween regalia, I had the car available for a southern circuit. This was the second one. It was fully dark when I arrived here. No muggles were nearby nor any zombies, ghouls or witches (I hope). This time I had info from another cacher of what the cache should look like and roughly where it was hidden. After about 5 minutes looking I concluded it was definitely gone. So to avoid this one going the way of "Kjwx in Wonderland", I decided to leave a replacement cache behind. The log is now in a camoed marmite jar at the same location as the original cache. Great to have this one signed off. Really enjoyed the clever puzzle and the in-theme hiding spot. Thanks for the cache.

I stopped by here a month ago at night for a look around. Pretty sure I gave the area around the GZ a good looking over. Was planning a day check as well as I have found I am prone to missing night caches. But talking to others at a recent event it seems I was in the correct spot and the cache hide was not present where it should have been. So needs CO to check. I might drop a temporary logbook there next visit as I hate solving puzzles only to find the cache has gone walkabout.

Had the coordinates confirmed through the geochecker, and stopped by this morning after another DNF. No luck here, even though it is a perfect spot for a cache. Lots of rubbish in the area. will watch and see who finds it next, or if the CO checks it out.

Been trying to decipher this one and since we live in the area went on a walk about and hey presto! Tftc!

This was a fun puzzle to solve with an element that I have not seen in any other puzzles.

I had called some time ago to search for the cache but it turned out it was missing at the time. Today, it was a quick find. I love the container.

When I walked back to my car, I noticed some blue structures at a nearby residence that seemed to fit the cache theme. I am not sure whether or not this is a coincidence.

Had puzzled over this one off and on for some time, admittedly more off than on, and then during the week applied some more thought to it. Was puzzling over it and then inspiration occurred after doing what the cache page suggested - though not literally Big Grin
Were going to be at the ASB Centre all day Friday & Saturday for a national Futsal tournament the youngest is representing Wellington in and we had some large gaps between his games. Popped out on Friday and made short work on the find. Putting it back took a bit longer with a pamphlet deliverer walking up the street then three taxi vans pulling up nearby to disgorge passengers and people working on a section a bit further down the road. Just had to wait until the coast was relative clear.
Nice cache and quite appropriately themed. TFTP&C

I've looked at this from afar without any progress but going to the pub coordinates did give me inspiration (as well as the c:geo app giving me the info I needed). After that it was a quick solve and find, with a neat container. TFTC

Lights- shone on the solution quickly; Camera- sights set for GZ during impending visit to Wellywood; Action- this will be the tough part, convincing the other 1/2 to go on a bus side-trip for a geocache....
Thanks for the fun little puzzle anyhow Smile

The listing for the owner's upcoming event cache was the prompt to finally sit down and read through the script over coffee this morning. A solution was soon found then I picked up the final while in the area this afternoon. A fun puzzle and very appropriate container. TFTC

It's a wrap!
I had rehearsed my lines and followed the stage directions for an earlier performance but until our intrepid reporter unearthed the facts I was unaware that a villain had absconded with the leading lady.
Now the understudy has arrived I was able to perform flawlessy in the debut for the new season.

Got the Geocheck tick ages ago but three visits have failed to turn up the cache. I wonder if the formidable vegetation has grown around it?

14-Sep-12
Will pay a visit to the set this weekend to confirm whether our Hollywood starlet has forgotten her lines.

13-May-12
No luck here today

12-Mar-12
Would never have solved this if not for the recent additional cue card from the Director. Unfortunately however the set is in quite untidy condition, but the other problem with being on location here was that there was too much activity near the set to have any chance of being able to try long enough for a successful take, not to mention some rather threatening looking vegetation decorating the set.

After not managing to get through for quite a while I finally managed to make a connection the other day. Decided to complete the paperwork tonight - really enjoyed this cache and the finally location - worth a favourite. TFTC

Met the owner today at the Xmas event. Received a lot of help. We were never ever going to solve this puzzle. Gave blood at GZ. Came back to the car to open the cache and sign the log and very nearly introduced two cockroaches to the Honda. Ms M would not have been impressed.
Nice to meet you today.

Solved the puzzle last week after a hint from the owner (thank you!) and was foiled at GZ by a muggle who clearly thought I was acting suspiciously. So I retreated until getting green lit today. Very apt container, and nicely hidden. Thanks for the cache, and the hint!

This had us puzzling for some time. We got a wee hint from ADV at the mid winter event cache that we were on the right track but needed to look elsewhere for the answer. Soon solved after that.
Can report that even after nearly a year since the last visit:
1. the cache is in excellent condition
2. the rubbish (including witches hat) is still there
3. the cache is well guarded (I came off second best)
Thanks for a great puzzle and hide.

#2469. A good end to an excellent day's caching, which enabled us to sort out quite a lot of unfinished business. I solved the puzzle, and Troodles found the cache, so a good team effort. TFTC.

Solved this puzzle a while back with a little help.. Got to GZ and was not impressed.. There are beer bottles, street cone (yes one of those), rubbish and more rubbish all about.. Didn't enjoy the spot which is a pity as the cache container is awesome.. Thanks anyways for the puzzle and cache..

I found the puzzle for this one rather obscure and ended up having to solicit a bit of assistance. Once I had worked out the method, the solution was very easy. A quick find on the way home from work this afternoon. Very appropriate cache container! Signed log, TFTC!

Really enjoyed this puzzle, very clever and an idea I hadn't come across before.
I was so impressed I saved the find to make it my 500th mystery (puzzle) cache find!

Many thanks for a great puzzle and a very appropriate hide, in more ones than one I noted as I drove away.

Interesting puzzle. Something a bit different.
I started searching for the cache in the dark, but I searched for so long, that by the time I found the cache it wasn't dark anymore.
Along the way I found a tyre, a traffic cone, several cans, bottles and other rubbish.
Eventually when I found the cache it was right where my GPS said it was.
Thanks.

Went for a screen test with Little Blue Hen but failed as cecil d wasn't keen. Boulevard and studio were quiet and despite a mistyped co-ord pointed out by the leading lady the cache was soon unwrapped. TFTCSL Researching the movie the old brain remembered parts of the sunset boulevard movie which may or may not be helpful....

The glare of the stage lights was too much for me to start with so I couldn't see what was required to solve the puzzle. Once I had my dark glasses on I had a flash of inspiration and knew I was ready for Demille, so made an appointment for my close up. Stars never travel alone, so Yeetrees accompanied me for the joint FTF.

Thanks for the puzzle, not so hard as it turns out! Enjoyed the themeing and the novel cache container.

Hugh Hefner I'm not, so rest assured it's definitely not adult material. Don't want any trouble though and I can't rectify the problem from my mobile so will temporarily disable the listing until I'm at my PC. Thanks for letting me know.

The puzzle graphic doesn't show in my browser. If I go into the source code and find the code for the file www.allposters.com and try that individually the WebMarshall on my system (I'm at work) blocks the website for "offensive material adult and nudity".
