Find #71 on Team Walker's epic adventure from Blenheim to Bluff and back. A quick jaunt from Cromwell to Alexandra for a nosey. A quick find for Mr W here. TFTC
Found it, but canister was sitting on the ground at the base of the tree (we've placed it back where we think it should've been). Log book wet, so couldn't write any detail. Will need a replacement
This is a rather late log but I was visiting this area and I had time to go and look for a couple of local caches. This wasn't where the hint suggested but had been moved to a secure place nearby. The only possible place near GZ Thank you for the cache and another smiley face.
In Clyde for the school holidays so while exploring the area time to get a few more caches. Nice quick P&G. TFTC
There was some schist, but no tussock. Maybe a mower has been through. The cache was found on the ground between the wall and a tree. The next mower would seen the end of it. Placed it back where we think was a good place, but may not be where it started. Might pay for the CO to check.
Thanks BirdFlu.
Thanks BirdFlu.
We are traveling around New Zealand. We are so glad that we can discover this beautiful country. We enjoy it so much. This cache was found during our travel.
Thank you. Greetings from Czech Republic

Sadly the weather was no good for skiing today so we decided to take a trip to Cromwell. We visited the car museum. It was too wet to go go carting. So off we went to a friend who lives in Alex. This one was on the way.
As others have noted, the location for this one no longer matches the hint. It is now hidden in a notch in the trunk of the tree closest to GZ. TFTC.
Tussock no longer there, cache now in tree nearby. Found this one with @woombyecats who replaced log.
Found it tucked into the bark of a nearby tree. There has been some ground maintanance and the tussock no longer exists. The log is saturated and in need of replacment.
On our way to Queenstown we stopped in Alexandra and found this cache.
Thanks for the hide and the maintain.

Cache log is sodden wet. But still able to sign, wasn't expecting to find the cache where it was!
Today we drove from Alexandra to Clyde, where we found a few caches.
As we searched, the watering started, so we got wet.
Greetings from Denmark.

Pretty straightforward find on the way into this nice little town. Good spot with a handy place to stop the car off of the road safely. Nice one, thanks.
New log required. Log was very wet. I put new paper I but didn't have a plastic bag.
Found today between softball games. Log was soaking wet. Put a bit of paper in but didn't have a plastic bag. TFTC
Geo husband found this in the tree nearby, log damp and full. Enjoyed the walk Tftc.
Clue needs to be updated, is nowhere near the schist...hence took a little looking
Found while waiting for repairs to the Cache-mobile (alternator reconditioning and new battery). Went for a 1.5km walk to get the cache then had to walk all the way back - how rude!
The hint doesn't resemble the hide in any way now, and the log has been very wet at some point (barely able to write on it).

Followed the GPS here, there and round about and then spotted it as I was giving up and heading back to the car TFTC #7611

Some how managed to find it... bit of luck really... the clue wasn't helpful because there were no tussocks there... more just berried in the ground away from the wall. But FOUND IT
Well have an opp on my shoulder about 4 weeks ago and still got about 4 weeks to go before I'm back at work so I thought I would come visit some friends in Cromwell for a few days so while on the way though I would grad a few. Well I would not say it was tucked behind any tussack but there ya go. The tussack must have been taken away as there was none anywhere. TFTC ☺
I had been working near tarras all week and staying in omakau ,fortunately the weather wasn't playing ball today so we finished the week early perfect for me to get a few caches on my way home to Geraldine.
this was out in the open tried to hide as best as possible with limited resources tftc

With the family all asleep and me having my normal cant sleep at all night decided i would go get a midnight cache to secure my streak for another day. our motel was only 800m away so rugged up nice and warm and took off. one good thing about caching at this ridiculous hour is ya have no muggle problems which could of been really handy for this cache. took a little bit of looking around and spent a lot of time in wrong place. think this cache might be better moved the bush is not there anymore and it was buired under the ground. signed log and put back where i found cause couldn't find any suitable close hiding places. have included a pic to show CO what i mean about cache thanks for the find
A bit of misdirection due to gps being still locked on road. Soon found not one but two containers at GZ? perhaps the CO has left a spare? or a cacher had bear googles on and left their lunch box?
cute little find, gardeners have been here and cut back tussock but it is still here
Quick find though there were two small containers tucked away together. Thanks for the cache.
Thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found today on our way from Roxburgh to Alexandra.
TFTC and greetings from Belgium.

Theres two containers! We signed one. Lovely spot sunny day ice cream from 24 hour dairy how good can life be?
Bumped into fellow Canadian geocacher sailorman_ken while looking for the cache, and after a lot of poking around the find was made. TFTC,.
