I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi TheB0rg
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Searched a wee bit but couldn’t see anything obvious. Not brave enough to put my hand in and search the debris, which there is a lot of. Might come back with gloves
Quick find while picking up nearby Adventure clues. Deserted on a Sunday morning, and even the resonant throbbing of the nearby diesel was lulling. TFTC MemorialB0rg!

In these parts at a dance competition and needed some fresh air. Wandered to ground zero where I had a quick find. Signed log and left as found.

# 1439 Spending a friday night doing grocery shopping, boring, but stopped by here to pick this one. I have looked at this little green circle so many times but never taken the time to stop by for the find, despite having visited the library, the pool, and the train station so many times. There was one of two places it realistically could have been with the hint, so i left the gps in the car and checked both of them out, it was during the second pass at the first site that I uncovered the cute little container. Took a wee bit to get the massive log sheet out but managed. Cheers Borg for bringing me to this memorial spot. These trees are huge now after nearly 50 years since being planted.
We were at Expressions for a ballroom dancing competition. As I was walking back to the car I saw a spot I thought looked promising so I went over and checked it. Sure enough, there was a nifty little cache. I almost got caught by a gaggle of girls from the dance comp but I used my stealth skills and managed to sign the log and put it back before they saw me. Thanks for the excellent cache!
I had to drive out this way for work so I allowed a bit of extra time so that I could stop and have a look for this one. I am trying to find a few remaining caches in Upper Hutt before I select another suburb for my daily geocaching trip.
When my boys were younger (before I started geocaching) I used to bring them up the H2O Extreme every Sunday for swimming and hydro-sliding. Good times and great memories associated with this general area.
GZ was deserted when I arrived so I was able to search without interruption. It didn't take too long to find the cache.
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you

(# 5040). Good to come for this one on a Sunday morning when the area is quiet. During business hours there are enough offices windows to be a potential problem After a bit of fossicking around in the only place it could be the container finally stuck in my fingers. Everything in order. TFTC
We failed to find this cache on a previous visit a couple of years ago, but today we did eventually find it, although it took a wee while. TFTC
#831. Birthday party time for my eldest geograndson, 10 tomorrow, so on a teacher-only day at school, it was off to H2O Extreme at Upper Hutt. Great place for a swim, and not very crowded, being a school day for most.
Came to GZ during lunch break time, but a muggle was sitting with his back to where it looked like I should be putting my hand in! Came back later, and after a fossick around, realised that I had found it at 1.50. Gee, the sticks were tricky!
Nice to read the Totara Grove is dedicated to Norman Kirk, who passed away on the day we got married, 45 years ago.

Well it was a perfect day for a family feast in the shade of the trees so we went off elsewhere for a while then saw the muggles had gone elsewhere so Selesi had the pleasure of finding this cache. TFTC
Awesome cache. Good hide will sign on our way back past cause we forgot a pen. TFTC
Found the lid but not the cache! So basically the opposite of the previous finder. Nice Park, very quiet today.
Quick easy find. Lid is missing and contents were scattered but I did my best to put it back together to hopefully keep the log dry.
On a wee mission collecting around the cbd area today. Cache in good order. TFTC.
Down for the Wellington Mega with KirsTim & yorkshirekiwi83 and vistra for the weekend, picking up caches in the area along the way. Lots of fun had and some cool sights to see. Many thanks to all the cache owners for the great maintenance and their caches!
Our journey south to the Mega in Wellington, a great day for travel caching.
Thanks to all the CO's who placed the caches

On our way to the Mega prize giving, we stopped off for one more for the day with Vamber, yorkshirekiwi83 & Vistra. We jumped out and saw the likely spot. Something smelt bad here, so glad to find it quickly, thanks
Spent the long weekend down in Wellington and the surrounding region with Vamber, KirsTim and vistra, we were there for the Mega event and we picked up some caches along the way. Thanks to all caches owners. TFTC
I flew down to Wellington just for the day today to attend the WENZ Mega Event and I joined up with Yorkshirekiwi83, Vamber and KirsTim for a day's caching, which was focussed primarily on caches in the Hutt Valley area - signing all logs as KKKTTS. This was found while driving around the area. TFTC!
In Wellington for WENZ 2018 Mega Event. Nice afternoon stroll in the area. All good at GZ. TFTC
A quick and easy find. Thanks
Found on a day spent driving up and down the Hutt Valley, finding a cache or two.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Had to wait for a bloke with his bicycle to move off before I could dash in and make the find prior to attending the Pathtag trading and then heading back to Auckland. TFTC
After getting a nearby multi we came across here to see if we could find this traditional cache. Some time ago Bennett24 and I visited a totara grove in Mt Eden, Auckland planted in the memory of Prime Minister Norman Kirk so it was nice to see another one. My late mother was a huge fan of him and bitterly disappointed that Muldoon came to power so soon after.
So we walked among these important totara and shortly found the geocache, no problems retrieving and signing. Thanks for the cache, all good here.

After a multi and breakfast near by we took a short walk with Tuolie to this one. After walking around the corner of the civic building it opened up into a nice little hidden park with some lovely trees. Quick fine in the suspected location, all good at GZ, TFTC.
Attending the Mega and just getting my last gew caches from nearby as it comes to an end. Thanks for the cache.

WENZ Mega Weekend is finally here... After experiencing broken sleep at our accommodation, it was time to pull it together and get out there... With Gap (of Fap and Gap) and NZFlossy...
Saturday: One of the Lab Caches brought us to this part of town. As this cache was nearby, it made sense to include a search for this hide. The area at ground zone was fairly quiet. We were able to get in and out quickly. TFTC.

I have set myself a goal to get the requirements for the mystery cache The well-rounded cacher challenge (Manawatu) This requires me to get 25 badges 5 of which need to be gemstone badges. So each time I now go out caching weather it is by myself or with fellow cacher I will try to get a least one cache that will help me get closer to my goal
Myself and Scoria are here attending the WENZ mega and while we are here both of us will be going for eleven cache types in one day which will make for a for a very busy day
We were up at 5 am getting caches that we needed just in case they got muggle latter in the day having a pile of people turn up at ground zero attracts attention
We have gotten the caches we needed, so we have a bit of time to go and get some more caches that require a bit of stealth before breakfast
Thanks for the cache

Day 1 of Wellington Mega
Today's mission was to register, collect lab caches, other events and hopefully 11 different cache types in 1 day.
Tall order but we made it with a few minutes to spare.
We also collected other caches that we had solved prior to coming.
Turned into a bit of a day so sorry for the copy and paste of logs.
Thanks to the cache owners for the placement of these caches.
Looking at the greater picture of the Wellington area we have only scratched the surface so will be back at some stage. SLTFTC

Before we head back to the event HQ there was time for another couple of finds. Parked nearby for this cache and the find was nice and easy. T F T C MemorialB0rg
Back on the bike trail again now and same as earlier we got into a good successful routine;
Pedal - Stop - Find- Sign - Replace - Repeat.
Day 1 of the actual MEGA. It's the Saturday and both ricardinho.nz and I were awake early in our respective accommodations and keen as can be to getcon the trail nice and early. We were in the car before 0700 and breakfast at Maccas got us underway prior to a real busy day. We had a River Hutt-side cycle, the events and registration at Cossie Club earlyish before racing off to get all the details required for the Lab caches, attend a few associated events, another bike-ride along the nice and flat Hutt river-side. Finally there was a Flashmob before a 'few more' then the Geo-quiz where the upper South did nicely in a podium position - PHEW! What a day!!
The big day(s) has/have arrived. It's MEGA weekend in Wellington region and the culmination of lots of hard work by the organising committee. Also, not to be forgotten, are the caches of the local, and not so local COs, which help the game to continue and enable the enjoyment of others.
The trip has been planned for a while now and the Blenheim contingent of Ricardinho.nz and myself are coming over early on Friday morning on the Bluebridge ferry (after an early morning (non-) 'event') before returning on same mode of transport on Monday lunchtime.
We didn't manage much caching on the Friday but made up for that with 3 good days after and over 100 finds for the weekend to boost my Wellington region finds past my Nelson region ones and even giving my previously prolific Auckland numbers a 'nudge'.
Over the weekend there was plenty of socialising, sharing of ideas, opinions and interesting conversations and a podium spot for the Geosaders quiz team. Allied up with some new caching friends and remet several other rarely seen friends from other areas of the country. A good weekend all around and even the weather played nicely with a sunny outlook each of the days, without it being too warm and uncomfortable. Plenty of events attended, pleasant walks experienced, a couple of bike rides along the Hutt River as well as a smattering of GROET caches for which we were GLAD.
Thanks to all of the cache owners for their hides and listings and looking forward to the next time I visit the area to continue the enjoyment.

Ventured up to Wellington this week to partake in the mega event weekend, arriving the day before so we could be well rested.
Up at 5am this morning to collect a few high muggle area caches of various types then stealthy traditionals.
A 6:43am find for this one.
Cheers.

We were walking around the town centre picking up hides here and there. On the map this looked like it would be a long way around so we were relieved to see trees past the buildings.
Coordinates took us to a nice patch of grass, so I suggested to my wife that she stick her hand in a likely looking spot and watched as she did a happy dance. No spiders.

I love this area. I used to catch the train at the station here, so was always running past and have never stopped to notice this little piece of paradise in the city. Cool location for the cache. Great hint. SL. TFTC!

In Wellington for the MEGA event and had a great time! Congratulations to the MEGA team for putting on such a great event and thanks to all the cache owners for the great caches. We cached with Sethraven, HeMaLuDy and Stikacrane today and had great fun driving around the place grabbing caches and attending events.
While MrsH and MrNZT figured out the wherigo nearby, MrH and I walked to this cache and made a quick find. Lovely gardens around Upper Hutt. TFTC!
