This one took me way longer than it should have my phone compass was spinning all over the place. After I had tried T3 locations and failed husband got out of the car and called that he had found it . Dropped a TB here. TFTC
Finally came back by with daylight to look. Nice to see this replaced and exactly where I looked last time. Thanks Budgietas
TFTC. Cache and contents are in excellent condition. I drew the short straw and had to get food from Sorrel so i thought I go the long way and grab a few caches. This one has been bugging me for a long time so this time as I drove past I made the quick dash.
Travelling to Orford. In Tasmania for the week, on business. Great cache to stretch the legs and my first cache in TAS this week. TFTC
Tasmania Trip Day 9. My second day caching out of Hobart was more counties to the south and East of Hobart. It was a cold drizzly day that got even worse as I went south. The highlight was the cave south of Port Arthur. I slowly worked my way back through the other counties and managed to see quite a few great small town along the way. I arrived back into town quite late in the afternoon and only did one more LAB set around town before finding somewhere to have dinner. I went back to the motel and did some logging and preparing for tomorrow. This was one of quite a few drive bys I stopped for today and was able to find. Thanks for the cache Budgietas46020.20 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & The 12 Days of Caching Blue A#59**Albida**
Heading to Hobart for a couple of days with my little house on wheels and it seems Im the head of the Conga line coming down these hills so I decided to pull over, let someone else take the lead while I stretch my legs. And lo and behold, theres a cache hidden nearby, BONUS.TFTC BudgietasKeep smiling
21288During our great trip around the world we arrived in Australia after visiting Canada, US, and some places in the Caribean Sea and Central America as well as Fiji.Besides lots of sightseeing, we can't do without caching, of course. That's why we also passed by this place, searched for the cache, found it and successfully signed the logbook.Thank you for hiding and maintaining the cache. Only thanks to dedicated owners is this beautiful game possible.Wir danken alle Cache-Ownern fr ihren Einsatz, denn ohne die Gemeinschaft ist dieses tolle weltweite Hobby nicht zu realisieren.
Despite an extensive search, could not find this today. GPS was a little patchy but kept coming back to a spot that matched the hint with no result.
It was time for a return trip to Tassie to explore the southern part of the state. I paired up with OzHockeyChick for a 5 day caching blitz with some sightseeing in between. It was sadly the final day and we were mopping up the end of the TTSS and SSF series while making our way from Orford to Hobart via a whole heap of other caches.
A quick stop here to grab this one. Log book is pretty full but found a spot to sign.
Thanks Budgietas for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Taking some time off to explore more of the apple isle with RoamingHowie. Day Five: Finish TTSS & SSF, Richmond, New Norfolk and various caches & AdLabs along the way.
Tried my best not to fall over to reach this one.
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Budgietas

The last time I was in this area it was a bit too late to look for this cache so today I made sure I had the time to search. A quick find was made of a cache in good condition.
In Tassie for March, cutting a lap and finding a few caches along the way.
Heading to Hobart and stopped for this one.
What a year Sandyofthesea and I have had. We kitted out the Prado and took off from Perth, Western Australia at the start of April 2022 to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. We started with the Nullabour, Eyre and York Peninsulas, the Riverlands, visited family in Victoria and then back in SA it got cold. Flinders and the Oodnadatta Track was amazing and we finally warmed up in Dalhousie Springs. The Alice beckoned and then a change of plan and we ended up tackling the Tanami Track to the Kimberley and Bungles Bungles. Territory Day in Darwin was unhinged - please try and do it! The Gulf, the coast and the car breaker ‘Old Tele Track’ to the top of Cape York. This is a must but it’s not easy! Eventually made it to Brisbane to get some fixes to the car….. let’s see where we end up.

Over in Tasmania for a week from NZ. On our way back to Hobart
A nice break from the drive.
A nice break from the drive.
I’m in Tasmania on a geocaching tour for a week with some other keen New Zealander geocachers. We started in Hobart, travelled up to Launceston, and today we are making our way back down to Hobart, heading across the island and towards the east coast. I’m travelling today with Net61 and Supernanny.
We pulled into this area and the cache was found by Net61, once she’d got the right direction sorted out.
Thanks for the cache

This one was a bit annoying due to the container being in a random spot and a bunch of spider webs surrounding the area but it was cool to see how full the logbook was over the past 12 years! Logbook was completely full though.
Adelaide to Hobart Road Trip
Day Five: St. Helens to Hobart Airport
Weather: glorious!
This one seemed like a good place to pull off the road, let the faster traffic through, and pick up a cache. The terrain isn’t as hard as it first looks as you walk over from your car. South Midlands LGA too.
Thanks once again Budgietas; I’ve done well out of you today!

Today we went up to Orford to try and find some more of the tiger snake series, a total of thirty nine finds and two DNFs.
We were going to come up this way last week but a new cache at Dover had us going down there instead.
We had to leave a few caches today as we were short on time and this was one of the caches we decided to leave. However I was using the app to see how far it was to another cache and saw we right next to this one so of course we had to stop! A quick find.

GPS was off and we made it much harder for ourselves than we had to. Needed the Band-Aid. TFTC.
RoadieM and I were caching in Oatlands today, so we decided to head home via the backroads to look for some out of the way caches and revisit some DNF's. I had looked for this cache as a very newbie cacher and remember searching and searching for ages, with no luck. Came back today with some 800 caches under my belt and walked straight to it! Nice to see I am getting better at this game. TFTC Budgietas.
Found this one years ago with my family when I was like I don't know 6. I didn't have the app to log.
With plans to cache along towards Orford then back to HBA i made this one first cab off the rank today, Tuesday 4 May 2021.
Parked the GeoMobile near as possible and walked up a bit to the hide with the grass still wet from the almost frosty night [:o]
SL at 10:47.
The cache and contents are in great shape [^]

Good parking for this one even with a caravan. Nothing spectacular to see. Bit of a bank climb. TFTC.
Easy directions but not easy location to reach for an oldie like me. Needs attention with new log book but did find a vacant page in the middle. Sadly came without a swap. Good find for nimble footed kids.
Left Barilla Caravan Park thids morning for an East Coast caching smogasborg this week. Coffee time is looming, so we will grab a few to maximise our caching activity as we go. th and is one is definitely well named ........... i did fall over, as I went too highand came to grief coming back down from above. More of a rock face than a rock wall, but I won't quibble Thanks for the cache Budgietas.
Great spot, hidden well, such a shame about all the rubbish people leave around tricky corner to turn at so be very careful.
Log almost full.

Too much traffic, too much rubbish, too many rocks. ️ Will have to try again another day.
Quick park and grab while heading into Hobart for a look around

Thank you for the cache. Maggie the great GeoWestie caching with Carer. Roadworks made it interesting
Slightly challenging and rewarding find on our way to Hobart from Lisdillon. Log book has run out of room and pen out of ink.

Hi Budgietas thanks for the cache, NatalieC1234, her Geohubby, Mr & Mrs PC, Miss A, Miss I and Miss L headed up the East Coast for a weekend of caching sightseeing and enjoyment. This was our 1st cache find and although all good at the hide the amount of rubbish is building up as you start to make your descent.
This weekend was spent on a caching trip up the East Coast with Porkchop6977, staying overnight in Swansea before returning home on Sunday afternoon. In total we ended up finding seventeen traditional caches, two mystery caches, one multi and one EarthCache, with one DNF.
We picked this one up while heading north. Porkchop had gotten a bit of a lead on us while we stopped to pick up a cache that he'd previously found. As such, by the time we reached the GZ he'd already found it, although he thoughtfully re-hid it for us so we could track it down for ourselves. Fortunately that didn't prove too difficult, and we were soon back on the road to Swansea.

Mr and Mrs banian's visit to Tasmania for a bit of a look around and a cache or two.
From Swansea to Port Arthur today.
Always nice to have a safe place to pull off the road.

Thanks for the cache Budgietas. Out and about with RLD4963 on a weekend away up the East Coast, decided to grab some caches along the way. This was the first stop for the weekend. Driven past this spot heaps of times, and today finally took the time to pull over and search for the cache. A nice quick find, Cheers.
Find by The Marathon Man and Pnutbeagle on our way from Port Arthur to Swansea

got up reasonably early this morning to head down to do the devil puzzle series with gridge98 to try get myself to 500 finds.
Was a great day for a drive and to cache, there wasn’t much stopping us except pesky muggles and one snake on trail. Managed to finish the devil and 2 other trails to get to the 500 caches.
Thanks budgietas for the wonderful caches and other owners of caches we grabbed today.
(We wrote ‘JLG98’ in most logs, for the combined team of JLRockstar and Gridge98)
