This cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.
The guidelines advise that the CO should make regular visits to check on the cache as well as promptly address any logs that indicate that the cache requires some attention. You need to disable the cache if you cannot attend to it promptly - I have disabled it this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by 4th June?**
If you cannot respond to the situation as requested, please add a note to the cache page detailing the situation **and providing an actual date when you expect the situation to be resolved.** This is to allow others to understand the what is happening - as well as - to prevent the cache from being de-listed as abandoned.
Have a read of the [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) which explain a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.
I also want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing this cache up and running in the future.
**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [**Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [**Temporarily Disable and Enable**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

Belated logging of this one on a trip to Rainbow. Loved the mural nearby - the things you find in the country
Unfortunately the cache lid has disintegrated - the cache requires a new container. TFTC!

After initially wondering why a cache would be dedicated to someones flatulence I decided I should improve my limited education and look up what "confluence" actually meant and was surprised to learn that it had absolutely nothing to do with tummy rumbles and more to do with the merging of two (or more) rivers into a single larger river - although in the context of this cache I guess it meant the merging of surveying lines, or a trig point by another name! "Confluence"! I'll need to remember to weave that one into conversation to impress my luddite mates!

After leaving our lunch stop at Jeparit Mrs one-eyed and I ventured further north towards Rainbow.
This was a most interesting spot loads of history, well placed cache in good condition.

Spending a couple of days in Warracknabeal to view the three silos in the area that have been painted. A normal Summer's day for the locals, however, uncomfortably hot for some visitors. Didn't bother stopping for some caches, and others if not in hand immediately were abandoned and back to the air-conditioned car. Should any snakes be enjoying the heat at or near the GZ, we were not going to upset them going about their normal summer business.
For cachers interested in Confluence Caches may I suggest:- *GCG10X "South East 38°141°"*. (The rest of the co-ord digits for this cache are 00.000 & 00.000!)

TFTC. We are camped at Lake Lascelles in Hopetoun. On an overcast Sunday we decided a caching run was in order to explore some of the back roads. So lose to the SA border. Quick find before photographing the mural across the road.
Found on dark on route to big desert with Pacman.
The convulance was hidden in the paddock.
Loved the mural and got a great pic of it against the purple sky (attached)
Cheers and thanks tigersden!

This weekend had been earmarked for some adventurous exploits in the Big Desert National Park with Jacko83, aiming to find a few relatively remote caches. Along the way we explored some of the smaller country towns, discovered interesting locations... and found a few caches !
We cached until 1am tonight, in wet and muddy conditions.
I like degree confluences - it's a side interest as they are also a waymarking category type.
We saw another confluence from this spot - the sun meeting the horizon at dusk!
Thanks, tigersden.

You never know what you will find at the crossroads.Enjoying the history of the local area. Griffo and son have wandered off to find the degree of confluence tftc
A nice spot to pull off the road. Good co ords made for a quick find. Very interesting information thanks.
Taking the geo kids caching during the school holidays, while towing a 24 foot caravan. We'll grab every opportunity to grab a cache and exploring the different area, A quick find was made.
Thanks tigersden.
Thanks tigersden.
Found on our way to Rainbow today and managed a quick find. Thanks tigers den for the cache.
What an interesting corner! Not just the coordinate marker, but the fence and 'gate'. Thanks for making us stop here, these are the sorts of things we love about caching. Then the geek in us meant we had to find the actual confluence... crop was looking a bit thin... Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.

I decided at a good road trip was in order, after having a look over the map I decided on heading up this way for a gander at the goods.
The temp looked like it was going to be ok for the day and it look like all the rain had passed from the late week deluge we had around town (St.Arnaud)
By the end of the day I had racked up 28 finds, No DNFs and almost 550ks under my bum.
A quick grab on the way south form Rainbow. interesting to see a monument in the genre of our great game/hobby

19/07/2015 - 5.30pm - Cache No. 447 - 2nd for the day. Finding this cache killed 2 birds with one stone, cache find & sunset photos, prefect! Stopped by on the way back from collecting "stuff" from yesterdays special occasion. dgfb33 & geogran1937 had already found this one & kept in the warmth of the vehicle while I did what was necessary. Thanks for the cache.
Kids found the cache. Interesting spot, didn't venture to the actual point of confluence but checked out where it was in relation to the plaque. Enjoying learning about the early surveying and trig points etc. while GeoCaching. TFTC SL. There's a cacher with a wicked sense of humour out there, the next to log will understand!
TFTC Interesting cache contents. HAHA!

Thanks for the cache! Great spot! Nit sad that people have taken swappables and left their rubbish in place of it.
Took the bullet casing, left a wee torch.

My first Cache on a big drive around Rainbow today. Grabbed this pretty quickly and signed the log in the car, then returned as found. TFTC. Great history lesson too.
We read up on Tom's history, what a man. His use of metal survey posts was certainly innovative. A pity that we could not get to the exact point of Confluence. TNLN TFTC
In the area visiting family at Bordertown and my best mate Muff1 at Kaniva. Spending 2 days taking in some of the wonderful scenery and doing some caching at the same time. A very interesting site to visit. Confluence caches have only just arrived on my horizon and now realise I have done a couple of others. Thank you tigersden for placing the cache and Muff1 for the transport and company. SL TNLN TFTC.
Beautiful day after a fantastic long weekend away with the Land Rover Club in the desert. Cheers!
Found it, despite the steady stream of traffic, amazing amount of people going towards Pullut.
Good stop between Rainbow and Jeparit on our way around the Wimmera Mallee on our Saturday arvo cache hunt. We told the kids that the All Seasons package was just another hand wipe!! Cheers for the cache.

This was the 17th cache for the day. Nothing like taking off in the ute nice and early to take on some of the caches to the northwest of home.
It was only until later on that I realised that I did a lot of back-tracking for this one that I didn't have to do. Oh well.
An easy find. TFTC.

Found at 2:35pm on our way around Lake Hindmarsh. An interesting spot indeed, but couldn't afford the time to find the actual confluence and return to camp by dark! Noticed the farmers are busy planting again as far as the eye can see. Took: polar bear Left: spotted quoll. TFTC we were able to have a long conversation about the reason for choosing that timeline!!
Found at 3:55PM on the 9th of October by Maya and Ray as we continue our journey home to Melbourne via the indirect route after visiting Ceduna for the 2010 Oyster Fest. What a weekend that was. TNLN. TFTC and the break in the drive. The Nomads

An easy drive-by while doing a few of the local caches in the area. TN, Left half penny, SL. Thanks tigersden for another cache.
We have found quite a few degrees of confluences now but this is the first one that's ever had a plaque. We still get a buzz out of finding them We pulled up here just as the rain started to become quite heavy but fortunately the cache was located quickly and the log book signed and the cache returned but we lost a bit of interest in trying to get the numbers to zero out and decided to head back to the dry car after we took the Tb
Thanks but once more tigersden for the cache

Interesting monument and also a bit of history a little west of the marker. Being a bit of a map junkie I enjoyed this cache. We decided to attempt to get to the top of the dunes to the west to see the lake. Only got to the top of the hill to find more dunes. Still an intersting vantage point. We also came across some bush pumpkins/melons? growing beside the road. We swapped nothing but left our Slug TB to begin his journey. SL TFTC
Just a quick drive by. Don't try to calibrate the GPS off this marker. Interesting stop to stop and see what the post is about though.
On the way for Oz Mega Wagga Wagga event. Enjoyed wander around the town SL. Thanks tigersden for organising the cache and hunt.
I passed by this way this way at sunset on a trip back home to Mildura from Nhill and this one popped up on the radar. Nice Mural here also.TFC No swaps

Found by Roma and Max.
On our way home from a family visit in Mildura we opted to take the geo route to pick up some more of your hides.
Little did we know we were to cross paths later on today.
Thank you for another interesting placement.
