Had a good dig around with no luck. Someone has strung a hammock up in here - I wonder if the cache was displaced or muggled
Found it on the ground. Lid had come off and insides strewn around. Have put it together and will send message of where we left it.
A quick find with SJT_NZ after a earlier wander in Aorere Goldfields, thanks for fixing this up as missed last time when in the area.
Cache has been muggled (not for the first time) so will look for a new site for it.
The container was a lot smaller than it says in the description and we found it on the ground so the hint wasn’t help-full
The beach is beautiful! We found the cache on the ground, not above ground like the hint:)
Parapara truly is a lovely spot and an evenings caching proved the perfect excuse to get out for a walk! A few cheeky weka in the GZ, and not too many muggles as they were all enjoying the beach.
Replaced as found but it would seem that the hint no longer applies

What an adventure. While just visiting Para Para for the weekend with friends, after last night's storm out is looking like we may be here a bit longer! Today dawned really wet but in a passing dry spell we went out and found this cache. TFTC Red & White Gypsies & Junior Knight

We were staying at a "Beachtime" place in Parapara and came for a walk down along the beach. I dodged off to find this cache but came out ":(" after a good search effort.

Lunchtime find.
I am being taxi Mum for my son and daughter in law for the Heaphy Track and finding a few geocaches. Today's pick up day. I have until 2pm to geocache until my heart's content. I stayed in Takaka today and will drive over the hill with the kids to Nelson. Thanks Red & White Gypsies & Junior Knight for creating this hide. It was find 9692 for me.
======== NZ Mega 2021 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2021 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, October 2021

No trouble. Seemed like a good place to leave a trackable that’s trying to find the prettiest places. TFTC!
Quick find here today. We were travelling from Collingwood to Takaka and just on the lookout for any sort of craft shops that may be open on the way. There weren’t any down here, but RG1972 said she had never been to this community so we popped in to have a look at the beach. Of course, this cache was close so I tagged this one. It’s a nice place here. TFTC.
Gorgeous spot will be back for a picnic thanks for taking us there.
The cache was out on the floor so we put it in a place that we thought was right, all dry and a few swaps and a TB which I will move on

Found in the early evening after having a visit with some friends nearby. Managed to park so the freedom campers couldn't see us. TFTC
Our final cache for the day and a place to stop for a cuppa. tftc and a quick find
New container and log book now in place to replace the one which was muggled.
Nice easy find. The container is a wee bit green and the inside as well as the log are a bit wet. Not surprising considering the weather we've had;-)
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
A quick find, used the campervan to provide some cover from the nearby muggles. Thanks for the cache
First to find the replacement log!
Also, Bling!
The travelling fox is exhilarated =^_^=

Dried out cache and and added new logbook inside waterproof container.
Quick and easy find but unfortunatally the whole Container was wet incl. the logbook, needs to be replaced!
Thank you for showing this lovely place! We've spend our whole afternoon at this amazing beach

Looks a great place for kids but nobody around today. The beach was cool too. TFTC.
This was our first GC today and we found it very easily. The cache itself is a bit wet, but the new log sheet of our previous fellow geocacher are dry. It was a warm day but unfortunately a little bit overcast, therefore not many people were at the beach.

We spent most of this rainy day driving and caching. Both were more difficult in the sometimes heavy rain, but the gorgeous landscapes and the luxuriant vegetation made the journey worthwhile. We had a late lunch at the Mussel Inn - delicious steamed mussels and mussel chowder. Then the sun made un effort, and we opted for a long walk at Parapara Beach collecting some shells. We found fourteen caches today which was pretty good. Many thanks to all the cache owners!
Fun4five crew found it on the 2nd look! This is a lovely beach we made a couple of teepees on beach too!
Is this one still alive? Spent 20mins having a good hunt. Pretty new to this so we might be missing something but helpful if we could clarify whether the cache is still in place. Thanks
Found on our holiday to Takaka. We drove from Takaka along state highway 60 to Cape Farewell Spit. Found on the drive back to Takaka. It was a quick park & grab. Found it immediately. The container was very wet so I gave it a wipe while signing the log. 8 caches today which was really good & is a new daily record. Added a trinket. find #119
Raining off and on so a good day to explore the area from our weekend base at Pohara and pick up a few geocaches in between the quite heavy showers. TFTC.
A beautiful winter day on a long weekend. How can you not be caching? It was a bit icy on "the hill" but it didn't stop us coming over and convert some some green into yellow took TB. Thank you Red and White Gypsies
We arrived here to find a camper parked up so strategic parking was needed before we could make a grab.
Thank you Red & White Gypsies.
Thank you Red & White Gypsies.
On Geocaching road trip. Letting the geocaching lead us to some great spots. TFTC
On the way to Farewell Spit we nipped off the road to visit Parapara and retrieve this cache. Cache was found somewhat exposed so added a bit more camo when we replaced it. Our first ever cache by The Red & White Gypsies - TFTC!
Found on a day trip to wharariki beach. Stormy weather so no swim today. Easy find once GPS settled down.
It took us awhile before we found it. Our gps led us first in the wrong direction but after that we looked where we would hide it and found it.
Found while Team Walker NZ were on a Summer tour across Tasman to Golden Bay - enjoy sun, sea and sights. Happy New Year and all the best for 2016.
What a beautiful spot. Not sure we are rich enough to move here though! Dropped off a wee TB.

First cache of the morning after staying nearby. The logbook hadnt been signed since March. There was a Krusty the clown toy in the container that was making it not close properly so we removed it and put it in one big enough to hold it. Thanks for the cache

Cache retrieved to dry it out. Will be replaced in different position with slightly different coordinates. Hope this will stop water getting into the container.
Gypsies are overseas at the moment but we carry out log maintenance when we return home next month.
Easter Sunday, and day #3 of our 4 day long weekend trip to Golden Bay.
After a walk on the beach to another cache, we drove down here, with a view to having a picnic lunch. First, the cache and it didn't take long to find. Unfortunately, the log book is very mouldy - we didn't even open the plastic bag as it looked in such a bad way. TFTC.

#9312. A car was parked nearby, but there was no sign of its occupants, so before they returned we got stuck in and found the cache. Log book in a bad way, so we just took a photo of it. TFTC.
Many thanks, the cache has gotten a bit wet following recent rain but let it dry out while we went for a swim. Beautiful spot!
