Found this one, log damp, be careful and check yourselves for ticks after getting this one. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC co
Stopped to grab this cache on our way home from the great Adventure Lab nearby. Two of our party went to sign the log and one came back with two big ticks. Still worth the stop for this oldie
The not so little turmoils wanted to hang out at the Morayfield shops so I dumped them and then headed out along Caboolture River Rd for the AL and all the caches up to Rocksberg. I really enjoyed the scenery and found some awesome picnic areas along the way. Some were complete with access to the Caboolture River which will be a hit for us in the warmer months. And kids will love coming here in summer! Looks like it used to be a well-used parking area for the swim, but it is really rutted out now. Just enough room for a couple of cars off the road though.
Accio 11:25:04Found with T4mmmy. A lovely little drive in the countryside, and then a bit of a scramble around in the long long grass before finally spotting the "thin stump" - yeah it is exactly that It just blends well in the grass somehow. As noted below the cache container was missing and the logbook was ... well very wet! So supplied a new container, and a new logsheet, hoping this will last as long as the last one. Thanks agap2 for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12081}*
Found, think someone has taken the container as the contents were just sotting there. Good spot
Nice quick and easy find while out for a drive in the area. Got to the Gz and i just went with my gut, and there it was.
Found 13/07/23 1:13pm with bryce3515. Thanks for the cache!

Lovely area and live the fresh bush air. Was lucky enough to have a day off work today so we cleaned up some cache along the way through Rocksburg. Found with DL197

You just have to love a south east Queensland winter, whilst the mornings can be cool the days are often bright and pleasing and a trip out into the nearby country side to hint caches is a lovely way to spend a morning.
After finding an appropriate spot to park the geowagon, I walked over to collect the prize. It was soon found, log extracted and signature added before returning safely for the next cacher to find.
Very pleased to be able to turn this cache into a yellow smilie and off of search of my next adventure.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

Assisted by gravity to get to GZ, I managed to slice my hand open on the grass on the way. But at least I found the cache! Thanks agap2
Spied the hidey hole and DisSister opted to go down the short but steep slope to save my knees the trouble, whew. The grass was very protective of the area slicing her hand on the way down. Cache retrieved and returned without further mishap. TFTC
Very first find with my daughter's. Thank you. They were very excited after we couldnt find the very first one we looked for.
Headed north for a few adventure labs, picking up a few caches that I passed.
Quick find on this one

agap2 I found your cache Ten Bob on 2/9/2022, 12:00 pm. This is my find 4082 and find # 4 today. A quick and easy drive by with the help of the hint. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Our last day in Caboolture today. Had a few other things to do as well so satisfied ourselves with an Ad Lab and a dew traditionals on the way.
Set ourselves up with a tree fishing pole as there were a few Ad Lab bonuses that required this. Hadn't been able to do them when we did the actual Labs.
A lovely day!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache agap2.

Stopped at this one on way home from nearby work site but not a success for me. I didn't feel confident getting to where I think it was while wearing my work boots (bit inflexible). Will no doubt have another chance in future.
Started solving the nearby AC series on the weekend of the Dayboro mega when it was bucketing down and I forgot to bring a rain jacket. Today, with torrential rain forecast I have brought along my rain , umbrella ️ and hat and of course no rain lol . Only grabbed a few of the series today with more to solve.
This one had me going where I did not want to go . But I braved my fears for the smiley . All good here. Tftc ️

TFTC. Thanks TreasureTrakas for being the intrepid explorers on this one. Having a great day's caching together.
Had a blank spot on my days found, so as these few caches are within a couple of kilometres of home, why not come out , make a find and fill a gap, Thanks for the quick find here, agap2, all is in good condition here today
Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Nice quick find while caching in the area Thanks for the cache
Found by Mary and David at 13:05. Just amazed at the vegetation. Good to have another find here in QLD. Our thanks to agap2.

After searching on the other side of the road ... we found it, stump is fairly well hidden . TFTC
We matched the name to the sign, but at first we didn't know why this cache was placed where it was. After we got closer to GZ though, WallabyTim spotted a track nearby leading down to the creek. Looks like a nice spot! TFTC
This was a nice little find. I enjoyed this. having a look around the area and so did the doggos. Easy to find but also well camouflaged. I swapped an item, logged our names headed on off to explore the area some more. Thank you for this cache!!
Passing by GZ on a lovely drive in this area I parked on the roadside and my coords led me directly to the hidey spot where the log was signed and cache replaced as found. A family were enjoying the rope swing in the water below and by the sound of it having a lot of fun! Thanks agap2.
Out and about in the area picking up some caches on a beautiful spring morning. A quick find after a short search. TNLNSL TFTC .
Today after work I decided to stay in the area and designate the rest of the day for caching. I saw that their was a new AL series nearby so I decided to get started on that and grab any other caches as I travelled to complete that. My morning started in Morayfield and I made my way through Upper Caboolture and ended up in Rocksberg. I've never ventured out this way before, so it was great to come to a new place and enjoy the scenery.
This was a tough one, I was looking up the hill for a while but had no luck, so I checked the logs for some help then realised I was in the wrong spot, so after changing location the container was easily spotted after that.

Out today to continue my challenges of a trad a day and a cache a day. An early start to grab a couple of FTF’s over at Ningi and then to do this adventure lab in the area followed by grabbing a few trads on the way back. Phone service was sporadic at times but still managed to get the job done. If it wasn’t for the lab series I would have never come this way. A beautiful area and one I must come back to on a better day, it also seems to be popular with the locals and campers.
I walked over and searched the bank and trees following the gps, hmm looking at the hint, nothing. Then I began to read the previous logs, hmm after a quick look around I soon spied the container and its hide. Cache was finally an easy find and blends in well with the area. With log signed and cache replaced it was off to the next one in the area, thank you.

Found whilst completing the Agatha Christie Series
Thanks for the great Cache and Adventure agap2
This Day in Music
13 June 1979 American soul and gospel singer, songwriter Donny Hathaway committed suicide falling from a 15th floor New York hotel window. At the height of his career Hathaway was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and was known to not take his prescribed medication regularly enough to properly control his symptoms. He scored the 1972 UK No.29 single with Roberta Flack 'Where Is The Love', (which won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo in 1973) and the 1978 US No.2 single 'The Closer I Get’, also with Roberta Flack.

I was heading for the nearby puzzles and made a short detour to visit this one. A quick find. Thanks for the cache
We came driving in this area today to pick up the Agatha Christie series. After finishing those we continued our drive in this beautiful area. It was lovely to see water below us at GZ and just before we had crossed a nearby bridge, there were a couple of families swimming in the river since it is school holidays at the moment.

It was too nice a day to stay at home, plus I'd built up some brownie points with Sadra and the geomonsters were out yahooing around with the neighbours kids, so a peaceful mornings caching was in order.
Spotted this one easily enough, but had to wait for some campers to pass by before I could retrieve the container.
Thanks!!

Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC agap2 ¥267 days. #1729 finds.
After being in self appointed quarantine the last week due to one of the kids testing positive to Whooping Cough (all is good - no symptoms) , we were finally safe to be let loose in public again and decided a few caches would help relieve the cabin fever we were suffering.
I have never been down this road even though I live virtually above it in the hills. I pulled over close to the GZ and found the cache. It was a bit damp inside and log was wet so I replaced log sheet (signed), put it in a ziplock bag and placed cache back in its home.

Wandering further from home on our little country drive after finishing work early. Terrain was a little steeper than I would expect for a 1.5 but we did not have to go too far in and lots of trees to hang on to.
We had a look at the creek from the road as it looked a bit too steep for us or the car to go down there easily. Nice little spots for a picnic along this road.

A quick find. What a great spot for a swim on a hot summer day. And well used, if the rope swings are any indication! TNLNSL TFTC
Quiet a slippery slope. However I would encourage enclosed shoes as we found a used needle. It was capped but not the point. TFTC!
Nice peaceful time of the day, found easy even with thongs on although held on incase I slid..tftc

Eluded us too but we think we may have seen the thin tree stump, there was just too much vegetation (and possible snakes) for me to go in searching for cache. Will be back in the summer for a swim so will try again then!
