I didn't have a pen so I took a photo of the log. TFTC. Really cool murals here. Sadly the taggers have been getting to it for a while. Nevertheless cool little location
Intelligent clue. Nice slice of local history, (even if the mural has been somewhat desecrated by the talentless). Richmond was buzzing tonight, but I reckon it was a different story after the Prelim Final. TF another interesting cache Alansee.
**Find #2173**
Checking out a possible Geo-Motorbike, at a local bike shop, so it was a short walk to GZ. An impressive mural. Quick find with a great clue.
Thanks **Alansee**

In the neighbourhood running some errands, so stopped by for this. Nice elegant hide. TFTC
Finally had a chance to swing by and get rid of this pesky DNF. Found easily this time after more caching experience
Since geokid#3 is doing his work experience near by, we just had to grab this one quickly after work before catching the train. Pity the mural is looking a bit worse for wear, but then I guess it's 34 years old.
A quick find with the help of the clue to find the generous sized cache. Tricky with the amount of foot traffic around at 5.30pm! Signed with our byo pen, then used the shoelace manoeuvre to return the cache. I am looking forward to doing the others in the series. Cheers!

We were killing time before meeting our daughter for lunch. What to do but look for a nearby cache. Being reluctant urban cachers we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at gz. Loved the mural and gz was fairly quiet on a Sunday. After a bit of a wander around we spotted the perfect hiding location and enjoyed the generous sized cache. This was a a bit of a De ja Vu moment as we have a similar hide. Thanks so much for a great cache in an interesting location.
After watching an almighty win by the mighty Demons, I braved the gloomy weather to find some caches to fill a slot in my 366. This was the first, and it got the juices flowing. Not where I expected it to be, but a look at the satellite map gave me a clue. A great little spot, very clever placement indeed. Thanks!
Found on the way to a music concert. Lots of chanting muggles on the way to a nearby sporting venue. Great murals, thanks for bringing us here.
Fortunately this did not take me very long to find, considering that it is a really good hiding spot.
Thanks for the cache! Picked up a cute stone from it and left a medal with Latvian lace
Managed to find a free parking spot nearby and grabbed this while driving through the area. TFTC
Found It!
After a bit of wandering around I spotted the only place it could be. And there it was!

I was spending a great couple of days in Richmond catching up with friends, centred around a gig by Ed Kuepper and The Aints at the Corner Hotel. We were waiting on another friend to join us for a tour of the MCG when I noticed there was a cache nearby - a great chance to show my muggle friends what geocaching was all about.
Found nice and quickly - clever hide! TNLNSL TFTC

First time geocaching today! My partner and I were very pleased with our find although true to rookie form we forgot a pen. TFTC
Exploring the city with my muggle mate today, which means walking past lots of hides unfortunately. Managed to grab a couple though & this was one of them - nice hide, tftc
We were in the local area recovering after a big wedding celebration from the night before and decided to wander about and get some fresh air. Surprisingly few caches in this area so our feet automatically walked in this direction, like a bee to honey! A nice ready find with suitable cover from the few muggle eyes around. TFTC and the beautiful mural.
Found 2.45pm
Returning from a sake tasting event a little further up Swan street, on the way to Richmond station, I saw this one nearby and thought "I've got time for a quickie".
Thanks for showing me this very interesting piece of public art.
A quick find. Took nothing Left pathtags. TFTC

Funny to track this cache from the train at Richmond - it's only 40m away as you pass by. I spent a leisurely 15 min between trains on the way home picking up this one. Had somewhere else in mind and assumed my phone was playing up. Had a look at the mural and then thought I should check out where the phone was pointing - coordinates were spot on and the cache was quickly found. A nice hide and a great art/history lesson. TFTC Alansee. Took TB.
After a nail biter with Freo winning by two points after the siren found this one on the way to the pub to celebrate
Thanks for our first find in Melbourne after a fantastic Freo Dockers win..Dropped off USA Travel bug
I found this one before watching the hawks beat the eagles at the MCG. I initially assessed the mural and looked out for a potential hiding place. tftc
On our way back home from the Werribee Zoo this afternoon and decided to grab a cache while the area was quiet. We managed a park nice and close to the gz and l ducked out and made a quick find. Thanks Alansee for the hide, nice tucked away spot too!
Seen a few identical hides before in different parts of NSW and ACT that I can remember. So once I had admired the murals and taken some pics and waited for a group of noisy people to pass I made the find. It was very late by this stage, I had been geocaching in the CBD since about 10am and it was now midnight!
Last cache for the day, thanks!
Last cache for the day, thanks!
Found with geopops on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Thanks for bringing us here to see the mural.
Finally for around to get the cache during a quiet period, which is quite rare during work hours. Tftc
Another early day into the city for work so I went the extra stop on the train and got off at Richmond station so I could pick up these nearby caches, get some steps in and walk to work afterwards. This was the first of the morning, so with a coffee in my hand I wandered to the fairly quiet and deserted carpark to look for this cache. Only one place it could be really. I retreated a few steps to sign the log. Cache container in good shape. Log dry. A great old mural with local history paintings. Many thanks FTC.
SisterCorny travelling Asia and Oceania for four month, stopping over in Melbourne for a couple of days after returning from NZ.
From our appartment in hip Richmond, we made a long walk around sporty Melbourne and the river parks, really enjoying the warm weather and creative caches. A great day out!
This was our first of the day and really a good start. Very well hidden, but we had the right idea from the first second, so a quick find, but worth a FP. TFTC

Found this with my friend Maddy on the way to ice cream. There was a massive spider guarding the cache. After persuading him to let us pass we found the cache. Awesome mural, never knew it was here. TFTC!
Grabbed this Cache while I had a few minutes spare waiting for a train, a shame I didn't have more time to stop and admire the mural but thanks for letting me see it, it is very hidden!
Nice mural, nice hide. Similar but slightly different to one with lots of faves in Launceston.
Cheers

Thanks for bringing me here......really interesting history info on the mural Loved the hide too...gets a favourite
Very nicely fitted in the urban area/infrastructure, I went pass this spot many times and never noticed the mural and graffiti, thanks for the cache!
Yay finally found this one.
My first attempt was probably in Feb and I was in the wrong spot and I was convinced it must be under a signage pole (I noticed it could be lifted from its hole in the ground) because there were literally no other hiding places. I waited ages for people to leave, but there was an attendant busy with the parking machine who was taking his sweet, sweet time. He wasn't looking my way though so I said f*ck it and pulled the pole out. Felt a bit dumb when there was nothing inside.
I tried again a few weeks ago but there was literally a fashion shoot happening next to the mural so I left.
Third time lucky, I was finally in the right spot after consulting some photos. Great hide!

Quick find on the way to work. Pretty high muggle area during the morning rush. Someone has placed a pen and makeshift log. TFTC
Quick, easy find. No log inside. Wrote on and left a piece of paper. Never knew this mural existed.

Found this tonight. The GPS wouldn't settle so I was wandering around looking dodgy. After it settled, I saw the likely spot. A great spot for a cache. The mural is interesting - it must have been interesting having tigers in the gardens. Thanks Alansee for showing me this spot.
