Unfortunately, I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
The [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.
Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [**here**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).
If you wish to contact me please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
I notice from one or more log entries that this cache would seem to be in need of some help - **there appears to be a need for owner intervention.**
Therefore, the cache is being temporarily disabling so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) I cannot see any log that indicates a recent visit by the CO to this cache.
If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by **28th September,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (by 28th September). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) the cache on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

This one needs archiving...no response to needs maintance for over 6 months and cache is inaccessible as the area is closed due to a biohazard.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Might be worth disabling this one for the time being, The walking tracks in the area are closed to prevent the spread of a fungus that causes die back in plants. Would not want ths to spread of other bushland areas....
Having a shocker of a run with these Oatley caches. Still, got this one. TFTC!
Came down this way for some caching around Oatley Park but stopped here first. The initial approach wasn't looking too good so a read the notes that suggested River St was going to be a better option. A serious log wall you get to see on the way in once past the ex Bowling Club. Once at Ground Zero the cache was fairly quickly located. Thanks pembo136.
A look at a t5 with ck with nope .. we not do that. So head to this one... while look at a different rock... then a wander behind to another and a ha... found. Tftc
A bit of a bush bash here in the suburbs. I think the purple monkey has swung away as we did not see him.

Myles Dunphy and his son Milo were early movers in the conservation movement and we all who love the bush owe them a lot. It's a pity they aren't better known. I don't understand the purple monkey reference but the GeoBro and I found the cache anyway. TFTC pembo136 and for bringing us to this spot that we had never been to before. There are some great unknown pockets of bush around Sydney and thanks to geocaching we get introduced to them still.
I'm back in Australia and this is my first find on my return. Months ago I searched for this one with my old phone to no avail. This time however, it was a piece of cake to find even though I had to take a roundabout way to reach GZ. Lovely area, and the smell of the gum trees reminds me that I'm back in the Land of Oz
My tenth stop of the day as I explore lovely Oatley.
This is a beautiful bush area, no drop bears spotted today but plenty of cute bats.
As usual I made the descent to GZ just a little bit harder than it needed to be but it was fun.

Spent the day cyclo-exploring the Oatley area with some caching action.
Fun day out with a tally of 11 finds, 1 DNF and a few 'didn't bother trying's.
- - -
This was the 8th find of the day.
Cycled in from Mimosa by the railway line. The track was 'just' rideable with 'skinny' 40 mm tyres. Then it was a bit of cross-country up the slope to get to GZ.
I had no idea what the fourth point in the hint meant, but it didn't matter as coords were spot on. GPS said 0 m, looked, and there it was!

Up the Hume and across to Beverly Hills via the m5. The plan was to attack a heap of caches between Beverly Hills and the royal national park before heading south to home.
Wow! Some great caches and great places around here especially down to the royal national park. I've only done the drive through there once before. But as always love the grand pacific drive as the preferred route heading home.
Visited some trackables we had on board with us today and handed out some favourite points (Sydney always does this too us!!)
Special thanks to all the CO's and their efforts.

So, milestone time again. I'd decided on a puzzle masquerading as a multi having worked with a recent finder at an event to finally get a solution.
Then I was going to tackle the other multi in Oatley Park (forgot the Earthcache was there though). Interestingly I'd say both the 1½ ratings on those multis are underrated.
Only grabbed two others as the second multi took me so long, even with a PAF.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Parked at the end of Boorara Avenue and followed the track to GZ.
As I closed in on the cache, I spotted what looked like a car cushion - checked it just in case... No.
Soon after spotted it from a short distance.
Completed signing duties and replaced - no muggles but could hear a passing train or two.
Back to *The Hademobile* - time for one more.

A bit of coordinates but after looking at the photos I got a rough idea and then found the cache. TFTC
It was a nice walk through the bush, but we found it straight away. Lucky there's another in the same reserve.
I thought the geopooch would enjoy a bit of a bush walk this morning so we headed to Myles Dumphy Reserve. It had rained overnight so everything was damp including some very soggy parts of the track. Once the needle started to point off track I looked up to see where I was heading. Had to carry the geodog for part of the approach as it was too difficult to navigate on little legs. Circled around the most likely spots and had the CIH within a few minutes. Signed log, left swag, visited TBs and replaced. Thanks pembo136.
TFTC - great little bush walk on this beautiful afternoon. I 'Periscoped' my adventure, but no YouTube on this one.

Despite a hike through the scrub, GZ was easy and soon it was CIH. Normally a quiet spot I imagine, but today I could hear bagpipes in the distance from the Oatley Festival. Took two trackables (TB Challenge Tour 2013 @ Friends|Geo-Ritter Jonas and card) and left a Hello Kitty toy and candle. Logged TB Challenge one, though not sure if TIME and SPACE card is connected to trackable or separate item?TFTC. #181

12/09/15. 11:42 AM. Cache #2985. Streak day #447.
3rd of 7 this morning - Penshurst, Mortdale & Oatley.
After "Stop At A Rock", the next unfound on my trip south might have been "Rex's Cache 2", but one look at all its recent DNFs was enough to put me off, so on to this one. I followed the path until it soon became obvious I'd need to bush bash my way down once I found the right way down. The specific description of the hiding spot within the hint was fairly confusing, so I just put trust in the coordinates, and searched all the likely spots. After checking a few, I spotted the likely hide and got the cache.
I then realised that the purple feather I had removed was mentioned in past logs as a kind of landmark, so I replaced it. Signed the log and dropped in a TB. Next cache "WET OR DRY #2". TFTC.

Compass not accurate. Use photos for guidance. Purple feather good indicator. Football card, spoon, toy Indian and ladybug peg inside. Discovered travel bug not taken. TNLN and BYOP
Caching around Oatley today. A bit of a bush bash and not long after located the cache. TN Left a small peg and visited a TB and signed the log. TFTC pembo136.
Found it after a bit of bush bashing and spider web destroying.
Sneaky spot there behind the small rock. Luckily I noticed it looked a little out of place. I placed a feather as a clue.
Took a tb.

This took some time to find. Didn't understand the purple dishwasher rock hint. Thanks to the images in the previous logs I was able to find it. Thanks for the cache!
Walked over the bridge from Como for a raid on the Oatley Park caches & spotted this one. Have not been here for years. A pleasant detour into the bush gully and a quick find. That's one I wasn't counting on today. TFTC pembo136
Took a while and destroyed a few spider webs in the process but was super pumped when I finally found the cache!

Took me ages to find this until I spotted it just sitting in its hidey hole staring at me! I swear it was smiling at me!
Found it during fading light with Percita. When we got there found out the pens had gone missing! Jogged back up the path via torch light to find it.. Then stumbled through the bush to sign the log.

Found it on the second attempt. I love the travelbug, will move it along on its long journey. TFTC
Eight-and-a-half years and three children later, we have finally made it to 100 caches! Unfortunately we didn't read the cache instructions carefully (you try that with three screaming kids in the back of the car) so we parked in the wrong street and were confronted with rocks, bush, no path. Geomum and geobaby decided to stay in the car (add this to the list of places where geomum has breastfed a baby...) while geodad and two bigger geokids scrambled down the rocks. Nice easy find, photos taken for the historical record.
Visited this nice piece of bush and found it just in time as it was getting dark. Dropped off trackable TFTC
The old cache under the purple monkey dishwasher rock trick, I should have known.
The bush care people seem to be doing a pretty good job on the area.

A nice tract of land to be in on this sunny cold day. Thank goodness for Myles Dunphy. Found the cache well hidden just a bit higher than where the GPS wanted it to be. Thanks!
Took the 2 x geokids and my parents for a walk down here today. I can't believe I grew up in oatley and had never been here before! What a hidden beauty
We enjoyed the small bush bash and GPS was going a little crazy so we had plenty of places to search. The find goes to my dad who was out for his first hunt. Unfortunately we forgot a pen, TNLN.
Day 6 of 31 days of geocaching event. TFTC!

First find on my walk from Oatley Stn to Como. Fairly quick find after dumping my backpack. Regards from San Carlos, California. TFTC!!
Nice easy walk down River Road and followed the trail to the cache. Container was a little exposed so I have added a little cammo to help conceal it.
Wasn't sure what a purple monkey dishwasher rock was, but found it with thatkid_ and geybunny.

I took the train to Oatley from Sydney today for some caching. After a couple tries on wrong paths, I finally selected the proper path that took me close to GZ. I found the old seat cushion and searched the area for at least 20 minutes. Unfortunately, I could not find the hide. I enjoyed the search. Greetings from Arizona, USA.
Found this cache after working in the area. I parked near the old bowlo and wandered down the track into the scrub. The GPS took a while to settle down and there were a lot of places to look. I actually wandered past GZ and only saw the hiding spot when I turned back up the hill. When you see the old (train?) seat yopu know you are close. Many thanks pembo136
I found it after about 10 minutes from the car. I did not encounter any drop bears. I do not know what a purple monkey dishwasher rock is?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Found this one with JustR after an unsuccessful attempt to find another one not too far away.
We came in from Woronora Pde because my map only showed an entrance to the path from there, but, after weaving our way all the way through the reserve & back, I reread the description and realised there was an easier way.
It was a nice walk & we could have enjoyed it more if we had more time, but, study & work called so we had to make it hasty.

Didn't encounter any drop bears but did eat a few spider webs on the way in, haha. Tftc.
Found it! I've lived in Oatley for over ten years, and never thought to visit this bit of bushland. Lovely spot. Thanks for the cache!
Encountered a group of school kids dressed in full camouflauge and carrying wooden toy guns filming a movie.
Didn't find the purple rock, but found the jar in the end. Didn't smell too bad!

Out for the afternoon with steeba and Hoojar. I was starting to wonder where steeba was taking us as we drove down this little laneway, but soon we were heading off into anothe pocket of Sydney bushland.
After a short search we soon had the cache in hand.

TFTC,
Needed a cache to keep the daily count going and thought this one could be it. Having read some of the previous logs I didn't know what I would find and was surprised. Thanks to the previous visitor for providing a new log in a sealed bag. Visited a group of trackables to learn about the great man and some of what he did foe our environment.

Wish I had read the logs a bit further down. I think the logs from the LOTR crew were spot one, calling a spade a spade. Or in this case a geourinal a geourinal.
The stench was almost overpowering, fortunately there were enough plants around, which became tail feathers at home later, to distract the geokid.
Note to self, buy some hand sanitiser for my gc kit, now....
Anyhow, the walk in was pleasant, we approached from the river road entry point which was fairly straight forward.
I removed all of the logs and bagged them up and replaced with a new notebook and ziplock bag. A PENCIL/PEN is still needed, or BYO. Pls be aware that the remaining contents, a few plastic swaps, should be washed/cleaned.
Will contact the CO to see what to do wth logs, however, it seems generally agreed that they are urine effected, so will most likely chuck.

Yeah cache unworkable, pen not working and log book completely destroyed but container still there. Found W/ Dita
Quite a challenging one as you have to leave the walking trail to clamber 10m-20m through the bush up the hill to the rocks. Preschoolers got a bit freaked out with all the undergrowth and spiders! Maybe there was an easier route?
Found cache, but purple monkey rock was missing and black pear jar (red lid) was very smelly. Maintenance needed?
But thanks for the cache! A very nice bit of bushland.
