OK Archiving this one as we can't see us getting out there any time soon.
Thanks to all who visited the cache.

OK it sounds like it is gone.
We will try and get there to check on it.

No luck for me either, no brick and no cache from what we could see.

03-Apr-10
We will try and get to this when we can. Wife is expecting first baby in a few days so it won't be soon.

Owner please Check if it's still there. Some debris was found that may be part of the cache.

Looked with Suitman and Auralyra with no luck. Found a small lunch Ziplock - not sure if it was part of the cache... Might need owner to double check if it's still around.

Our first cache for a mini- get together to tackle some of the caches around the Avoca area.
Didn't even need to grab this one Kinkel1 was already back with cache in hand so we all signed. We however went all journeyed back to hiding spot so we know where it was found.

Our meeting point for a day of caching, Tilley and I were first there, apart from the Clean-Up Australia gang. They were just finishing their clean-up so we retrieved the cache from them.....just joking....took Tilley for a walk and found the cache...no pen, so headed back to the car. As we were signing the log, the rest of the crew arrived, so we signed it, Tilley dipped her paw in and decided not to stay, and we re-hid cache.
Thanks for a nice easy cache to start our day Smile

Nice easy find on a wet day of caching with micaparamedic, Kinkell, smegheads, and sully1.
This was our starting point, and as Sue had the cache in hand already, we had to guess correctly where she'd found it before signing log, LOL.
My thanks to McAdies for this cache, the first in a long day of caching. TNLNSL

Our starting point for a day to Avoca & beyond with kinkell1, smegheads, micaparamedic and bogonghazy. Arrived at GZ, with muchly needed and appreciated Coffee in hand from the local cafe. Kinkell1 had already retrieved the Cache, which was duly signed by all, and we all strolled back for the replacement of same. The sun was shining whilst here, so the local gathering of Clean Up Aust folks were working away diligently. It's a shame the weather worsened as the day went on, but in true Caching fashion we marched on, amongst downpours of rain, and gathered a few numbers for the day. Thanks to all for a memorable day out. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and the laughs, and little hiccups along the way. TNLNSL. Thanks McAdies for the Cache.

A day out in Avoca and the Pyrenees, I managed 1 for the day as I'd cleared most about three years ago, so thankyou McArdies for placing this cache. I arrived shortly after the assigned meeting time to find that the cache had been located and was about to be sent back to GZ so was able to sign the log without much effort, timing I'd say. Great day out with Sully1, Smegheads, Kinkell1 and Bogong'LambFlaps'hazy.

My son found this one when exploring around. Wasnt even looking for it. What luck for a first timer. Nice area for lunch.

Found it. I'm from the area and I am a bit worried about the location, due to floods. When it floods here it really floods and has the possibility to be lost. I will try and keep an eye on it when it rains.

Nice easy cache, great spot in town

I'd been meaning to get up Avoca way for a while now and this new cache got me off my butt and out into the heat. It was reading 36 degrees when I pulled up at the appointed location but a nice shady spot under a tree kept the car almost bearable while I went about my task. With no-one around, I had a quick and easy FTF in the very pleasant little reserve by the river. Took the geocoin. A very pretty one it is too. A couple of cars arrived as I returned the cache but the occupants would not have been able to see me. Despite the heat, I ended up going for a little walk to draw attention away from the relevent area before returning to the car and a cold drink. Many thanks, McAdies, for another fine cache.
