Even if we were to find a replacement, the area has changed significantly so that we would be unable to place it back here, so sadly we will have to archive.

Visited with fellow cacher that has found before this cache is no longer there and needs to replaced.

Surprised at the last log! Surely a needs maintenance would have sufficed. We have been overseas and have been unable to replace this cache. Now we are back we will look into it but as it will be difficult to find a replacement then may take some time, so in the meantime we will disable. If we can't find a replacement THEN we will archive.

Unable to find the cache, visited this spot before with another cacher, found some sort of building going on at the spot

Had some one with me that found this before....the spot has been cleaned and new fence been erected and only one big object standing alone now.

Having a day caching with my sister who has just been forced into the game... This was her first and what a great way to introduce her - TFTC - Love the hide

Morning light saw my first Urban Illusion find, where 10 hours previously I'd first searched by torchlight. 3rd of 4 finds on a muggle free Sunday morning. SL 0830 TFTC

I must of been rushing it last time.....

Find #387… Our last cache found on the bikes – and our 4th urban illusion out of that. We NEVER thought it would be possible for us to successfully find 4 of these caches in a single day. It seemed pretty secluded at the cache, and we soon found the object in question, it lacked something that the real thing actually has, which gave it away for us. Woohoo! Another cache checked off. We did a quick check on our picnic table cache and then put the bikes back in the car and headed over the hill. Thanks J’N’K for the UI’s we’ve done this morning. SL TFTC.

StreetWalker spotted this hide quite quickly - I had a similar container in Christchurch, waiting to find a suitable hiding place. In the end I had to donate it to another cacher before shifting up north.

A quick one this time - I'm starting to get the hang of this illusion trick!

Had spotted the cache last time I visited some months back, but was being watched by someone in a vehicle who hung around the area for a quite a while: thought possibly it might have been another cacher but there were no logs at the time confirming that.
Nice and quiet at GZ today so quick and easy- and no problems opening it either!
Seems I followed Blodwen Gray around the Seaview area today.

Slowly working our way through this fascinating series of very clever caches. Had success with this one (which was not the case with all the urban illusion attempts we tried today )!

Relatively straight forward find on this one, doubt that that would be so on a weekday however.

Out and about on a cache maintenance afternoon. This one is not working the way it should, but is still retrievable. Will have to come back with the right tools to fix it up at a later date.

9.25am. A small detour on the way to Mitre 10. A quick and muggle free find but had trouble getting to the log until I remembered seeing something on the road where I parked the car. This did the trick so I left it added to the junck for the next finder.

Think I may be onto this one, passed today but someone was watching me from a car, suspect it may have been another cacher though as there didn't seem to be any reason to park where they did and then move round closer to the GZ! A lot of rubbish around the area though if the cache is what and where I think it is it won't affect retrieval. May not get back for a little while but eager to see if I am right as this will be my first UI find!

Parked car right next to it & Mr 10 spotted very quickly what it was likely to be so was a quick grab, back in the car, did the bizzo & put back within a couple of minutes.

Urban Illusions are always awesome, but hard to find. Therefore, I was surprised when we found this cache upon arriving at the spot. Had a lot of trouble getting the cache out, some help supplied would be appreciated by future cachers. TFTC

We did a few Urban lllusion caches over a year ago, and today was time for a few more. This was the quickest and easiest yet, being identified before we even got out of the car. TFTC

Would not like to do this during the week, but on a Saturday we had plenty of time to think.. and to think.. and to find it. Clever hide and after this the other illusions came easier (apart from one). TFTC

Feeling very cocky after my 1st Urban Illusions find, though I expect I won't be after trying a few more in this series.
Signed the log and was back in the car within five minutes.
So far, this is my FAVOURITE cache ever. Love the hide, very devious.

A very clever cache hiding in plain sight. Fouund with Oggies. TFTC

Even from across the road, it was plain to see the letterbox on the fence was the primary target here. I sent alysamg over the high security gate to attack the box from the other side and as the Doberman chewed on his leg I realised this was J n K subterfuge to distract us from the real target. We removed the letterbox, so no one else has to be attacked by dogs. A pool of blood from alysamgs legs is now a further clue to the real location. TFTC

Didn't take too long to spot the illusion this time (fotunately). It took longer to gain access as it had been put back rather firmly.
Left it a bit easier to access for the next finder. This is the last of the illusions for me (again), although each time I write that another one appears!
