Today I was having a caching day in the lower Blue Mountains. I had looked at this cache but decided it wasn't one for me to do on my own.My travels took me to a cache in Knapsack Park. I hadn't considered it being a Saturday and sport in the park. That meant that when I arrived there was nowhere to park the geomobile. I ended up quite a distance for the cache and walking to it I passed a sign saying "Elizabeth Lookout." Sounded like a good place to sit and have lunch, so I followed the track. It was easy walking and soon, wow, the view was spectacular!I sat and ate lunch and looked at the geomap. I was only 100m from this cache. I decided to go to the edge and have a look at the potential walk, while I was so close. I couldn't see a way to it but then a couple of groups of dog walking muggles appeared from a different direction. There must be another track in that direction. I went to explore. It wasn't such a bad walk after all and I soon had CIH. So this was a find that hadn't been on my radar.TFTC # 6164
We had a lovely walk out to the lookout and a break, before heading towards GZ. It was great finding a well stocked ammo can in a nice dry bush cave. We exchanged some swaps before taking in more of the views. We will definitely be back when its a little less damp to find some of the other caches in this area, thanks.
Silly me took the long way here and then climbed up, but stunning views. Thanks for showing me this beaut little spot
Last find for the day with GeoDad. Such a great hide and enjoyed the walk to get there. TFTC!
Saw a stunning sunrise over Sydney. From Lower Blue Mountains in Australia. A bit long way from the coastline so this TB Corona Express Cruise Ship shall travel on. Retrieved by SurdiVisio with TBs Canadian Flag, Swiss Duck and Pittiplatsch in tow.
Made the walk down the trail to this one, a great view of Penrith here, cache is all good
Today with a day off work I decided to head out on the train to the base if the blue mountains to Glenbrook and walked down to emu plains through the reserves collecting caches here and there. On my way home I dropped off at parramatta to find the virtual here before heading back home.
Thanks for the cache

Found it! Our first find as we are new to this. Thanks. The track is closed for maintenance until June 24 according to signs.
What a lovely spot. Thanks for bringing me here! I found a Trackable! But left it because I spent too long trying to figure out its code. The next visitor can move it! Tftc
We are on another short (four day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for three nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Hoping to collect the latest GFA Puzzle, Wherigo, and Letterbox caches that have appeared around Luddenham & Wallacia since our last visit to the area, and will have a go at the new GFA Adventure Lab. Will also be returning to the lower Blue Mountains to visit some previously unexplored caching locations, revisiting areas around Penrith & suburbs that have new or replaced caches, and maybe finish with a visit to the Londonderry area. Photos will be uploaded to some logs on our return to home base. This was the 5th of 15 finds for the day (day 2), and 18th find of the holiday.
Today we headed up to Lapstone to make some finds for International Geocaching Day and the world wide caching record attempt for the most cachers caching on the same day (August 20). Parked the geomobile at the end of The Sanctuary Drive, then followed the bush track.
After finding a couple of Traditional caches we ducked through the highway underpass, then under the railway sandstone viaduct and, after completing an EarthCache and collecting a MultiCache, we walked down under the old sandstone viaduct and then climbed up the very steep track & steps to reach this Traditional cache.
It was a steep trek up to the top, but worth the effort when we saw the view from this cache's GZ. Quickly uncovered the hide and had the nice solid classic caching container in hand. Signed the logbook, dropped off a Geocoin, then replaced as found.
TFTC rogerw3, and Happy International Geocaching Day to everyone

Wonderful location, fantastic view. Love the container, thanks so much for the cache!
#8793 (6 of 11 today - including 1 Adventure Lab)
I am terribly behind in my logging. It's getting close to two months since I regularly reported on the caches I've found. YIKES!
In this time only the Adventure Labs found and my First2Finds have been written up - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
But I've been busy finally getting ready to move into our new house - now in and I'm still coming to terms with the extra room/rooms!
But I did still try to find time to cache on the days that my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day demanded I find something. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.
Anyway. thanks to all the CO's who are getting short shrift from my generic logs. I hope to eventually get back to them and flesh them out, but no promises.
I've found some fun Traditionals and solved some interesting, but not impossible puzzles. And Multis and other cache types have been grabbed where possible.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Anything interesting from my day will be added here - don't hold your breath.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Anything specific to this find will be added here - really, DO NOT hold your breath.

Out for a walk n cache!! Spectacular views !! Thanks so much for bringing us here!! Great in excellent condition!!
Amazing little spot TFTC. Hid the cache a little better in the same spot it was in the open.
First walk in the proper bush after lockdown, and this was beautiful. We did a loop past Knapsack bridge and Lennox bridge. Perfect day, good bush, and history as well. This one gets a favourite, Thanks Rogerw3.
Plenty of muggles enjoying the views, had to find a "suitable spot" to sit and take it all in while quickly signing and replacing.
A very crowded area today, but with weather this nice what can you expect?
Waited for a break in muggles, then made the quick find and log.

Nice spot to catch our breath after the up hill climb. An easy find. The container has two cracks in the side, contents are still okay.

What a beautiful spot up here at sunset. The flowers are blooming and bright yellow as well. TFTC
Took a beautiful walk here as it was one of the few places we could venture out during the lockdown. Thanks for the cache!
#4640:
Second and last cache of the day, but we weren't near the end of our walk yet. Followed one of a few different trails to GZ, and spotted it straight away with the accurate coordinates. TFTC.

found this last week by chance, didnt know what geocaching was. looked into it, signed up, went back. thanks for the introduction
Followed the faint geotrail in from the track. Quick find at GZ.
All clear up here while the plains below are shrouded in smoke.
Thanks for the cache.

Family day activity to have a walk in the area. Searched wrong level initially, and then a quick found. Geokids enjoyed to play stones. TFTC
Nice easy find just off the beaten track. The usual "suspicious pile of rocks" gave away the hiding place for those who knew what to look for
Thanks for giving us something to do with our boys after finding the lookout and seeing Sydney so far away.

Lovely view from the top. Free hint, don't go around to the bottom and try to climb up to this cache, get to it from leaving the path at the top level. And watch out for the kangaroos like the one in this photo.
Froggie has a great view.
Left some toys and erasers.
Nice views. Not for the faint hearted. I could probably see my bro-in-laws place from here....

Streak Day #1636 - Out with dave8153 completing some hidden dates for him, Nice walk to GZ for a quick find. TFTC
Out today with Snoopy1976 doing some caches that fill in some hidden date finds. This was our 2nd for the day. Took a walk out along the trail today and once at the lookout followed the side track until we need to detour off the tray. Once at GZ was an easy find. TFTC
Great views from the lookout, a quick find once at gz. Enjoyable afternoon walk. TFTC !
Sorry, logged find against wrong cache. Ran out of time to look for this one.
Nice find after a steep uphill climb. Hope the free milkshake card we left is used by someone!
Excellent coords for this one. I walked directly to the edge, crouched down and saw the cache directly beneath me. Took the travel bug inside. Great view from this spot. If I'm not mistaken, I could see Sydney from here. A cluster of tall buildings at least. TFTC and greetings from Canada!
Nice area following lovers walk. Quick find. No problems here. Great views at lookout. Signed and replaced. Cache all good.Tftc
I was going to walk in from knapsack bridge last night but it got too dark so didn't want to risk it. Up bright and early next morning to attempt in the light but took the easy flat route instead. Great views this morning with the fog in the valley. Little bush bash required but a short search turned up the cache. Good hide. Favorite from me.
After completing 'swiss cheese' it was back to Elizabeth lookout then 100 mtrs across the other side to approach GZ of this cache. It required about 25 mtrs of bash off the beaten path to get to.
From the right angle GZ was quickly spotted. Cache was retrieved, log signed and a TB dropped off before the cache was replaced. tftc
From this point we are taking the track down to knapsack bridge.

The 3rd of our Australia Day cache finds. This is an area we have walked many times. Saw some birds and enjoyed the walk TFTC
What a brilliant little spot away from the actual lookout. Such fantastic views, thanks for bringing us here. TFTC
Excellent lookout, and nice spot for the cache with a very comfortable sitting ledge From Elizabeth lookout itself we could just about make out the distant city skyline (and possible north sydney and chatswood clusters of skyscrapers as well), and moving back and forth along the fence we also managed to spot the road cutting of the highway, as well as the bridge for the old highway (knapsack bridge?). This gets a favourite point from me TFTC!
#473 came for a walk along the fire trail but got passed by a number of people going to the bridge and back. Got close to GZ but realised I was not anywhere near the cache so went to a different level and followed the GPSr till I spotted something to check and had the cache in hand. signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache rogerw3
Wonderful walk from knapsack bridge, the view was well worth the effort! Thanks for bringing us this way! Nice easy find, in a beautiful part of the world.

Took to mountain bike for a spin down these trails. Great view and not too scary for this acrophobe!
Wow. We made this a lot more difficult than it needed to be by bush bashing up from the track. Tftc. Awesome views!
