I had a quick look at the hall . It would have been the centre of social activity in it's day. Thanks
One of several caches located on my “Elephant Rocks and more” driving loop this afternoon. Had lost reception at this point but my GPSr did at least count down the distance to the cache. With that information but no hint I managed to locate this one reasonably easily. #6283. TFTC.
Well, no geocacher has been here for a long time. Today *Filser1* and I were able to discover the cache after some searching.

TEMBO! and I visited the little town. We had no problems to look for the cache. No body was visible.

I have stopped here before and failed to find this. Today when we stopped I realised my mistake and went right to it. This seems to be a feature of geocaching! Tokarahi very quiet today, so didn’t feel at all conspicuous. Thanks drawp
Now that rain has stopped I can do my next 50 in a day challenge for the DGSc. . This is number 33.
On a weekend to danseys pass with farmerkeith and family. Awesome caches in the area. Thanks for the cache owners for maintaining these. A hide in a great small place I had never been too.
What a lovely wee township! Coconuts3 bought some garlic, we both fussed and chatted to a friendly dog and the gardener! Nice easy dry cache. TFTH
Lovely spot here found the cache with busy paws. Then checked out the nearby stall where Mrs C bought garlic. Very friendly dog was keen to say hi, and the owner of stall came to chat with us. Thanks for the cache drawp.

Water still running across the grass after the weekend rain and the GPS took a while to settle so didn't find the cache in the allotted time.
#17713. We felt a bit conspicuous going through the gate, and finding ourselves sharing the garden area with some grazing sheep. Luckily the cache was a quick find. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ while driving around North Otago picking up as many Mighty Oaks and solved puzzles as possible. A good day out, despite the southerly wind blasting us at many locations. And we had to drive past lots of caches too! Many thanks to all the cache hiders in the area, we are very grateful for the time and effort you put into geocaching.
Not much here at Tokarahi, but worth a visit to find a cache. An easy find too. TFTC.

On a Saturday mission around the district to tidy up all those unfound and dnf caches. Have bike in town to speed up the day .. and maybe get a few clues along the way
Always thought this was private property but after paf I went on in and it didn't take long to locate thanks for replacing

Heading to Kurow for the long weekend. A bit of a detour up to the Elephant Rocks which I have never seen before. Wow what an amazing place! Carried on up the road a bit further to get this one. Found the lid in its spot and a very wet and dirty log book on the ground. Had a spare container in the car so replaced with another log book. Signed both! Replaced with a bit more cover TFTC
10:17 found the lid. The rest couldn't be located. Signal bounces around here! Tftc
This afternoon I decided to pick off a few caches that are widely spread out in the Duntroon area.
I finally found this on the ground in pieces though none were broken. I placed it back in place and covered it up a bit.
Cheers for the cache.

Climbed over the makeshift gate designed for keeping animals in and wandered over for a nice quick find. No sign of the animals - just the gate and water but I did give a cat a big fright. Back over the gate and off again. TFTC # 11,540
Out adventuring with Kiwi Moose and Karma Reprint on a caching / biking mission. We followed the elephant track to the obvious location. Signed as K^3LMR. Thanks.
Had a great time. A nice quick find. Cheers.
Out and about on some of the A2O bike trails around Oamaru with Kiwi Moose and Kiwi Legend. Signed the logs K3LMR for brevity. Thanks to the CO's for the Caches.

Out and about with Karma Reprint and Kiwi Legend, time to start towards another section of the trail and this one was en route. What a cute hall, the wood work inside was looking great. Signed as K^3LMR. Cheers
Day 1 of Geo-Fest; out caching with purdiepurdie; yesterday we found a significant number of Memorial Oaks and today we turned our attention to some puzzle caches on our way out the Elephant Rocks area.
This cache was one we came upon, on the journey. A fairly persistent muggle tried to help us, so purdiepurdie had some family history to discuss as I took "photos".
Thanks for this cache and your many other caches which have given us so much pleasure, drawp.

#3,029: Binge Smiley!
What an adventure we had today! TheWanglers, Team_Gaters, and I headed out at dawn from Christchurch with four goals in mind: 1) Find Many Caches, 2) Get TG to 7,000 finds, 3) get me to 3,000 finds, and 4) Have Fun! Needless to say, all were accomplished in spades. It was only my second 100+ day ever, and had us driving, walking, running, biking, and even crawling to make the finds. We were also able to find at least 7 different cache types, and attend two events, in order to catch up with old friends. Thanks to all the hiders, but most of all, thanks to my partners in crime! We signed all logs as "T8T", sung to the tune of AC/DC "TNT".

Headed out for a Mad Mission with Team_Gaters and 8ManAfter we signed our logs today 'T8T' cos were dynatmite! I grabbed 8Man at 5.30 am and we grabbed TG just before 6am and we were on the road before 6am with the bikes on the back. The plan was to drive to Oamaru and then attend the events and thrash the caches hard. We wanted to do as much of the A2O as we could and as many PnGs that we could manage. We stopped by the event first and then we had to stop an grab breakfast at 10am. We grabbed some lunch and headed for the hills. Had a great time and worked our way back to town for the CITO at 6pm. Scored a delicous dinner in town and headed home. Got home just after 12am knocking out 620km and 115 caches. Good times!
Quick find.
Cache 92 of 115 for this crazy day!
Thanks for the cache drawp.

A long days caching (Mad Mission?) with TheWanglers and 8ManAfter..revelin a bit of the Geofest Event in Oamaru. We signed our logs 'T8T' cos were dynamite...and 'in a hurry'...LOL! Picked up by TW & 8man at 6am...and we had our bikes loaded for a bit of A2O action during the day. The plan was to drive to Oamaru and then attend the events and thrash the caches hard. We stopped by the event first and then we stopped to town to grab some breakfast and a packed lunch and then headed out to hit some trails. Had a great time and worked our way back to town for the CITO at 6pm. Grabbed some tea in town then headed for home. Got home just on 12am knocking out 620km and just over 100 cache finds for each of us. A great day with great company!
After cycling part of the nearby trail we were now looping around and heading slowly back towards Oamaru for the CiTO and to find some tea. Cheers.

We arrived in Dunedin today and traveled to Oamaru for the 2017 Geofest through Ranfurly, Nasbey and Danseys Pass. We attempted many caches throughout the long hot day and as it was the Geofest we bumped into fellow geocachers as well as a few muggles along the way. We were travelling with Keylev, UncleSam, Stik-a-Crane so to save log paper signed as Team SEAC 17.
Thanks to all the COs for the caches along the route.

JdScout and I are on a camper weekend. Our first stop was Temuka.
We left Temuka this morning and picked up two travel bugs at a travel bug hotel on the way.
I organised this event and dragged JDScout along. The event was enjoyable.
We parked our camper at the Kakanui campground and stayed over night. Off we go to Danseys Pass camp ground.
We went for a drive out to the dams. After a short bike ride we drove around the lake.
After staying the night at Danseys Pass we headed back home. Thanks for replacing the cache and logbook. I was second to sign along with Jdscout.

Another great find while slowly heading to the Christchurch Mega, although I seem to be heading further away on this league of my journey!
Thanks for adding to the fun of my trip.

We foudn the tree, but had not luck with finding, maybe the person who replaced earlier did to good a job as we thoroughly hunted with no find
No luck for us, Found the obvious spot for a cache but no sign of a container. Time to either archive or replace.
We checked in nearby and then went out to try and find a few more caches for the night. Someone was grazing some sheep in there which we scared as soon as we arrived. We just climbed the gate and started searching. We searched for quite awhile and the GPS kept taking us back the the same GZ but we couldnt find anything
no luck for us today. found a tree with a big hole - ideal for a cache - but could not find a cache. maybe our arms were too short as we could not reach the 'ground' of the hole. we will watch this cache and will be back.
Was a easy find...Climbed the fence, dodged the poo and stinging nettle then used a stick to get rid of the spiderweb TFTC
A quick visit to the Hall's backyard. Serenaded by the lady neighbour. DebsNZ also grabbed some fresh eggs from the stand. Chooks and alpacas in the garden, fun for the kids.
Found with DebsNZ and Aoraki Sheep.

Watched as debsnz and Woody104 made the find, then turned my attention to working out the math for the nearby multi.
Needed sharp eyes and a long arm.
Note to cachers: take cash, the knitting is cheap and wonderful.

must be us, looked and looked and looked, and looked again, muggle next door seemed to know about it. but we didn't find it. will try again.

04/01/13 18:45 After checking with a neighbour re entering the property, we did so, being mindful of the sheep. We were unnecessarily needled by the stinging nettles and checked GZ but not deep enough. JC Cache Dawg & Team EJ on vanguard duties. Cheers, GC.
Turns out icky spider webs and dark holes in strange little villages are nothing to fear after all...
Twice I've come here with Geomum with the intentions of finding this cache, and both times we were unlucky with muggles. Third time lucky with the 'WGHS Pink' group! Thanks.
out for another afternoon cruise, chooks scattered as we signed log. good fun
A neat old hall, flash even. Braved the spider webs to extract the cache, nicely hidden it was too. TFTC.
What is it with this area, the poor gps was so giddy then the farmer thought we were considering rustling his sheep.
Would have been a busy town in the days. Llamas was runing aound in padock. TFTC.
This seemed a bit dodgy with the neighbours, but I ducked in and and managed to find the cache. A chicken came up and nearly ate from my hand whilst logging the cache. Cheers Gav [6466]
Aaargh! Danseys Pass closed. This cache just happened to be on my alternative route.
