#18622 - 11:20:00 AM; Day 38 of the European Road Trip and another day in the City of Westminster. While the geohoney enjoyed some retail therapy along Oxford Street, I set off on the hunt for some geocaches. Started the hunt here and was joined by a local from a nearby shop, who seemed to think the cache was long gone. We put our heads together and checked a recent log, widened the search area and located the cache! He can now assist any future hunters too. Greetings from Australia and TFTC lisboa_bruno
Walking past during lunch so thought I would grab this cache. I could see but to many muggles to grab but managed to grab and sign the log. TFTC.
Found while on family reunion meetup, TFTC

Found during a very busy day it would seem, the alley way being full of muggles. So much so that a hands on search was simply not possible, and I had to resort to pretending to be rummaging through my bag in order to spot the hide. Then a quick stroll and swipe and I was off out the alley to sign somewhere less crowded.
The return journey was going well until I was twenty metres from GZ, just as a Beatles Tour guide stopped with a sizable group and started talking away about the area. Fortunately they turned their backs to me for just a moment and that was all I needed. TFTC morcheba!

Today i am for the second day in Londen for a day of Geocaching. Last time was in Marc hand i could count 30 geocaches to my total. Today this is diverent. I only did 11 geocaches but 8 different types. For the caches requiring answers, i will sent them shortly.
I deprarted from Arnhem the night before at 22,15 local time. I arrived at about 9,15 local time in London and i made my way towards an small event were i arrived in time. I met people and i swapped some tb’s. Actually i just dropped 1 and took some others. It was really nice meating different people.
After the event a small group of people went a long with Loony Londo to find You're A Star. So i could write my name for the first time on a logsheet.
In the neighbourhood is Camley Street Gardens. This was a traditional we could easily find and go on with a mystery.
The Francis Crick Institute was the trird cache to find and log. With the help of the spoiler the cache was very easy to find. After we logged this cache we went on to The British Library.
The British Library was a really nice cache and cost us a lot of energy climbinf all the stairs. But at the end we found al the way points and finaly the stash. This cache will get the first favo of the day.
Ofcourse i have to log An Eye for the Planets. I still need tob e senbding the answers but they will come in a short period of time.
London - West End Webcam (oxford Circus) was the second webcam cache of my life. In my previous visit i did the other one in London. My girlfriend was sitting at home watching the iPad. And making the prints. I will add one with my log. On the left you see me and on the right a Belgium guy i met ealier on the day.
Then we continued with Ye Olde Coffee Houses. The last time i was in London there was no Wherigo in the city center. This cache was placed a couple of weeks after my visit. So i could try to fin dit now. It is realy nicely made and i will award it woth a favo.
During Ye Olde Coffee Houses, we found West End 1 - The Beatles. A easaly pick up on the route.
After we finished Ye Olde Coffee Houses we did two more virtual caches.
We started with The London Rainbow Cache 1 – Red and continued with 16th Century Pub (Central London). We both found what we were looking but the pub was unfortunately closed. We hoped to get a drink over there but maybe next time better.
After a meal in Chinatown and a visit to MMSWorld i went to the bus and we departed 19,30 back home. Today i arrived back home at 8,30.
After some sleep i am now logging all the caches. We dit 2 traditionals , 2 multi caches, 2 Virtual caches, 1 mystery, 1 event, 1 Webcam cache, a Wherigo and a earthcache. A nice score if i say myself. Not a score for point but with quality caches! Thanks to all the CO’s for maintaining the mand keeping them into the air.

We tried to get this back in 2010 with no luck. Returned today a bit later and had the lane to ourselves. That was the trick. Was so interesting to learn about the history here. Thanks for placing this cache!
A previous log entry about finding the cache in the wrong place set me on the right track.
Sadly this is the only cache we found on our trip to London, but that makes it even more special! TFTC!
- out on a day trip with a chance to cache whilst shopping - always great fun in the city - as expected on arriving at GZ the cache site was overlooked from opposite but no one really took interest in me - stealth required but cache was quickly in hand - TNLN SL and replaced where found - TFTC
For a few days we were on holidays in London! For us it take a little bit time to find this cache.

We found the little cache between the cigarette butts on the ground. We've placed it back on a magnatic location above it.
A lovely afternoon wandering the streets of London, sunny but mild for the time of year. TFTC

TFTC!!! This was an awesome piece of music history that I did not know existed at this location. Very cool. It was a difficult cache due to all the muggles.

Sixth to find for me and Lala-v after a fair bit of searching! Found the tb stamp and then finally found the cache hidden very well! Tftc!
A tricky find but a nice location to have it as I would have simply walked right past the building without knowing what it was, tftc.
During the week i attended a course in London, and of course i tried to find some caches during the evenings. This one was a bit tricky because there were two people nearby doing some spray paint job on kitchen doors, but eventually i manage to find it.
Thanks for this one!

In London for an all-too-brief visit I decided I had time to fit in a few quick caches, and this was only 200m out of my way. I found the little road, and was heartened to see few muggles, although in fact it didn't take too long to find the container.
Thanks for bringing me to a place I wouldn't otherwise know about, and for the cache.

We needed to find again a few minutes. Met a cacher.

Always nice to see a city nano that is actually maintained! Space in the log after a good few minutes of hunting. Swore I looked there as the first place I peeked but it took 10 minutes wandering and a second feel to grab it. Now off to "All's Well that ends Well" at the Globe Theatre
This took a bit of thinking, when we figured out where the cache was hidden, it then took some pretty slick distraction to make the grab. Lots of muggles!
The cache is clean and the log was dry... lovely!
Thanks for brining us here and thanks for the cache!
Found with Fistos on an evening stroll to dinner!

A business trip to London and a chance for a few caches. A busy spot but managed to grab it in the end. Not only the Beatles, but reading the paper in the window, David Bowie recorded Life on Mars here - one of my favourite all time songs. TFTC
Another great spot for a cache, a site full of history as the numerous tour groups testify to. We got a break in the action to retrieve the cache. We'd never have found this place if not out caching. SL TFTC
Tried a couple of times during the day but it was too busy with muggles to do a proper search.
Cute little place with so much music history behind the facade...
Many thanks,
