Hi drmatt84
It appears that this cache has been inactive for quite some time. Is it going to be replaced or should it be archived to make room for possible future caches? If the cache owner does not contact me within Three Weeks, I'll assume the cache needs to be archived.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.
Thanks for your understanding,
Regards,

This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
No finds since 2013 and no response from CO from a needs maintenance log from a year ago. Time this cache was archived (damn as I solved the puzzle ages ago).
I had another look today as I was in the area but still can't find it. It's been nearly 3 years since it was found last. Could the CO please check it's still there? Ta
I found a place where it looked like a cache might have been but I'm not too sure. There are several place to look here. I wonder if it is still here because it hasn't been found for ages. Nice puzzle though.
Two pairs of eyes, a double-check of the coordinates, and still a DNF. Something tells me it's disappeared - after nearly a year and a half of inactivity, might be worth a look.
Man this puzzle is tricky! been working on it for a few days now and still I'm not getting anywhere. had a few brainwave moments, but none of them have worked so far... I'll continue with this one!
Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. I've been out and had a look and the cache is definitely still there. There has been a bit of gardening and rearrangement of logs so perhaps it wasn't there or was moved when the last cacher came looking.

Confirmed co-ordinates and had an extensive hunt around ground zero but no sign of anything aside from rotten logs
Temporarily repaired the lid, thanks for the tip off. Will paint up a new container and replace when I get the chance.
Went back for another stab at this. Can't leave all those DNFs lurking on my record. Found it this time. BTW - the lid has a crack, and will let rain in. I tilted the cache to minimise this, but it should be changed asap. Wonderful log book!
Nice puzzle solved shortly after publishing. Tufty and I were on a Sign Off Solved Puzzles cache mission this morning so diverted up to the cache GZ and did the deed. Thanks for the cache.
BaldEd and I were down in Dunedin to attend the Mega and during a bit of spare time we located and signed this one off.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Ghostgums, gunnie69, Ozibags, thefourbees, Kaisho53 and MrMeccano were on a 6 day escapade to Dunedin to attend the mega and this was thebeginning of our second day. After a bit of a wet & windy day 1, day 2 looked more promising. We had set our sights on a drive out to Port Chalmers and back.
The puzzle had been solved months ago without too much sweat or tears.
We parked at the bottom of the slope and made our way up the path. I volunteered to do the dirty work and came up with a nice size cache.

Day 2 of Cache Hunting at NZ Mega 21012 with Gunnie69, Ghostgums, Mr Meccano, Ozibags and TheFourBees
Plan of today - Ravensbourne to Port Chalmers, to Doctors Point and back
FourBees made short work of this find so we were soon on our way

Well the puzzle was easily solved so some co-ordinates were easily knocked out! I love how a puzzle just falls into to place so quickly.
A nice find to the fourbees. Nice size container too.
The biggest hassle was myself and MrMeccano negotiating the steep decline which was wet. [B)]
Day 2 on our caching trip to Dunedin for the NZ MEGA 2012 event with Gunnie69, Kaisho53, Ozibags, fourbees and MrMeccano. Today we headed out through Ravensbourne to Port Chalmers, to Doctors Point and back caching around the northern suburbs of North Dunedin and Opoho.

Caching with Ghostgums, Mr Meccano. Gunnie69, kaisho53 and fourbees while attending the NZ Mega. Clever camo, appreciated on a cold windy morning. TFTC drmatt84.
There were quite a few hide options on arrival at GZ so the group split up to cover more ground. A minute or so of investigation and TheFourBees came up with the goods. Aha, making good use of what lies around I see...
We added a sticker to the log and tucked things away again. THe morning was still quite cool so we were careful how much time we spent in the elements...
Found with fellow Queensland hunters Kaisho53, OziBags, TheFourBees, Ghostgums and Mr Meccano during our six day visit to Dunedin.
Cheers drmatt84.

Took a few minutes to figure out the solution, but the cache was a fairly quick find at GZ, cheers.
Solved puzzle with a bit of help (I was being too deep).
GPSr took me on a bit of a dance, but found the cache easily enough once it had settled down.

Solved ages ago but only just went out to find. Lucky find as we had no hint or cache description/size and the GPS was way out! TFTP&C (Puzzle and cache)
Learnt something new again....... TFTC. No one around in the house nearby.
Found it at 12:26, my 3rd of 3 finds today, and my 682nd find.
Spent ages looking at this one and then gave up. Looked at it again last week and had the 'TAH-DA' moment. How could I have not seen the solution before...
TFTC drmatt84!

Tried with a number of arithmetical options without any success. A read of previous logs provided a clue. From then on it was quite a simple process. Short search soon revealed the cache - no cookie monster around!! Great logbook!! Thanks for the cache!!
Nice wee puzzle, what a cool place to drive around, but in the end had to walk
Thanks Bitsprayer
Thanks Bitsprayer
I too must confess that a hint from a friend resulted in a find. A part of the city I had never been in so I enjoyed a good look around as I tried to find the way into GZ
Thanks

TFTC SL TNLN this was a team effort and thanks we found it after a hunt fell down a hole but managed to get pulled out so watch that when you go looking for this one but good hide and good cache
Too wet this morning to be grubbing about under the bush. Returned this afternoon and soon spied the cache.
I wasn't in the brainiest condition when I looked at this puzzle, and am almost too ashamed to admit to a hint from a friend. the hint was too much, of course, as the path to solving it was immediately obvious. TFTC, -TB Travel Ingot BTW loved the log book!

Took a break from assignment last night and solved the puzzle. Popped out with ZCA this afternoon and found a couple. Thanks.
An elegant puzzle. Went past the cache while walking in the area. I nominate it for the Superb Logbook Award! Congratulations on your first cache, drmatt84, and I look forward to your next cache in Ravensbourne...
The key to solving the puzzle was soon recognised and the cache was quickly found. TFTC
I was halfway towards solving this puzzle from the moment I saw it. So was nzcoozer, and he quickly had the final co-ords sorted. It's nice to see an easy puzzle, because sometimes I don't even know where to start! This time there was a start and a finish, and we were soon at the finish and signing the logbook, before heading to the harbour for the main event - the Marine Maginot! TFTC
kjwx primed me for this one and I was able to figure out the rest to solve. Dashed out and made an easy find. No muggles about in the middle of the day! Great cache, didn't take FTF prize left behind by Stegan - perhaps it should be turned into the 'Wandering Unclaimed FTF Prize' Travel Bug that haunts other caches looking for it's owner? Took Jandel TB.
FTF at 10:15pm. The puzzle was totally peplexing until I clicked to the nature of it - after that the puzzle was quickly solved and the co-ords in hand. At GZ things were not so easy! I was very conscious of the noise I was making in the undergrowth and with the lights of the nearby houses on, a car pulling up and a bloke moving around outside his house I felt totally dodgy. Eventually decided to reveal myself as I just couldn't do any decent searching and met the CO! After a nice chat I finished signing the log and a second car pulled up, pointing lights on full directly at me. Great! Guy starts yelling "Who are you!" "Who is there!" so n chance to get cache back. I yell out "I'm nobody!" he seems happy with that (!) and drives off. Cache goes back ultra quick and I run the heck out of there. In my haste I left the FTF prize so it is there for STF to claim.
TFTC (and the adventure!). I always like a wee puzzle and a good sized cache!
