No way is there anything here that fits the hint. Tree felling and new planting. Maybe this cache should be archived.
theres been some tree trimmimg here obviously in the hiding spot- we found the berocca container on the ground with the camo bag nearby and then the lid and log which is full, put bak together and tucked in a new spot. co needs to check. tftc
Found all the bits on the ground in various places. Trees have been cut down. Put in the only place for it to go but suggest a check is needed quick. TFTC

Quick easy find as lying in the open. Placed it at the base of tree on the left. Needs a check TFTC
Early morning found. Thank you very much for the cache. Like we say in the Czech Republic where I am from - Diky moc!
Taupo has a lot to offer - a great lake, lots of sports, interesting about volcanoes, geysers and earthquakes. The landscape is varied and invites you to go hiking. The waterfalls are spectacular and the geological parks are rich. And between some very nice caches.
Many thanks from Germany from the Moorhelmi

Quick grab here before heading off for a nice relaxing soak at wairakei terraces. A few muggles around today but none near gz. Spotted the lid from a distance and wonder why something so bright was there, made sure when I replaced lid was tucked Inside out of sight. Nice job on the camo
After visiting Huka Falls we picked this cache up on our way back in to Taupo. A quick easy drive-by find, TFTC!
Day 10 of our Mega Roadtrip. Nice to stop after an hour or so driving even for a quick PnG A nice quick find but unfortunately the log is full. Thanks for the smilie
enjoying a wee drive back to taupo from Turangi collecting a few caches while down for the Mega thx.
On the way home from Mega and pretty much cached out after the last 3 days. Grabbing a few easyish drivebys. Thanks.
A lovely view over the falls. We grabbed this one on the way back from the Mega and had made an effort to get a couple of caches on the way home. We had been to the falls yesterday but it was nice to see them from a different angle. Thanks for the cache and bringing us to this view point. #662
Returning home from the Mega in Turangi and stopped to get some caches on the way. A quick find. It was good to see the falls from this location, a great view. TFTC.
This cache has been a popular drive by for many of the mega travellers. Managed to squeeze our names in before full. Tftc
Another early morning start with Philip.Perry. This was to be our biggest road trip together so far, not necessarily for cache numbers, but because we were off to the Mega in Turangi.
Of course Philip had planned out the day with the most efficient way to get maximum cache haul and this series was definitely on our way south.
Nice camo. Thanks for bringing me here.

Wet and with a very cold wind when we got out of the car nearby the cache so we didn't linger! Glad for the easy find. Thanks for placing TGC4, if only the conditions were a bit better we would have spent a bit of time looking at views as others have done (now that I can see some logs)! On my way to the Mega with casaba3 so onwards we go...
On our way to the Mega in Turangi.
This was the last cache before Taupo and Mr NZT had to convince Mrs NZT that it would be a quick park and grab.
Sure enough Mrs NZT was able to drive right next to GZ while Mr NZT jumped out and made the quick find. Even jumping back into the car to sign the log.

The log book is nearly full, and with the nearby Mega event will need replacement after this weekend.
On our way to MEGA and doing a bit of sightseeing around Taupo . A great view of the river from up here. Thanks for the cache
This was one of over 60 stops 'Team B.O.P.' would make on the way down to the 2016 NZ MEGA in Turangi. TNXPro and myself have teamed up again with plans to meet Davidsonclan later on. This cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords, a good hint and a straight forward hide. A good park and grab. Cheers TGC4 - TFTC

Homeward bound...on our journey we found this nice park and drive cache...beautiful view...log book is a lil damp...tftc
On our North Island mid winter trip. Heading south to Taupo after a few days up the road in Rotorua. Quick stop at this spot, peaks of the river down below - the river making its presence known with its sound.
Down in Taupo for the weekend so we picked up a few caches on the way. Great spot here, TFTC
On our way from Taupo to Rotorua we made a quick stop for this one. Easy find at GZ. TFTC
After staying the night in Kinloch and losing half of our group, alpenmilch80 and I decided to stay around the Taupo area for some more geocaching before heading up to Rotorua for some more adventure.
Heading out of Taupe now and pulled in to look for this one. Not too many places it should have been and we had it in hand nice and quickly. TFTC

We were heading down to the Hawkes Bay for the weekend in order to run a half-marathon in the vineyards. Of course, no road trip is complete without grabbing some geocaches along the way, and this was one of our targets.
A bit disappointed we couldn't get a high view of the Huka Falls from here, but it was still neat to hear the water gushing through. A quick find at GZ, thanks for the hide.

Lovely view of the falls, but there was something VERY smelly in the bushes nearby!
Found on visit to the Tongariro National Park for the long weekend. Stopped to visit the Falls on the way home.Lovely spot for lunch.
Yesterday afternoon I visited the huka falls. Really impressive and beautyfull. And it's nice that you can have so many different views on it. After three views yesterday I now stopped here for another one. And I found a nice cache, too. The only muggle around couldn't see GZ and so I could search undisturbed.
Thanks a lot for the cache.

I came over to New Zealand to meet my son, who is staying now for more than five months on the other side of the world. Our intension is, to travel now for 4 weeks through this fantastic land and visiting a lot of fine spots on both islands.
Met in Auckland, our first trip led us to the Far North with some spectacular locations. It was a lot of driving, but we think, it was worth the result.
Now the second part of our travelling route led us to the south. Going via Hamilton with some fine locations, Hobbiton was an absolutely must of our "unexpected journey" . Went then to Tauranga with a hard upclimb to Mt. Maunganui, visited Rotorua to see lot of vulcanic activities, have had a lot of fun with Zorbing and Claybird shooting and drove then to Taupa, to doing Skydiving.
Here we go: Napier with it's beautiful Art Deco district and the great Aquarium was the next stop.
Final destination on the North Island was Wellington, were we visited some great places and met some friends from Germany.
Of course, even if it is not our main activity during this holidays, we will looking for some caches, which are laying beside our route.
So this cache was one of those, we've picked up.
Many thanks to TGC4 for this fine cache and best greetings from Germany.

A daytrip to Orakei-Korako. What a great place. Never seen such a spot before. Then back to Taupo with some finds on the way. Thanks
Headed out on a hot summers day to grab a few caches, great afternoon followed by a dip in the lake.
