I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi Ashsal
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Had a day in town and had the chance to have a good walk around collecting some caches on the way. TFTH
We have just spent 4 days at Stewart Island but having finished all we wanted to do there we managed to change our flights to get back to the mainland a bit earlier and spend a couple of hours wandering around Invercargill and finding a few caches at the same time.
We spotted this one on approach but with an approaching muggle I took advantage of the wall to sit down. The muggle immediately stopped for a friendly chat and in the ensuing conversation recommended somewhere to get dinner, a recommendation we were happy to prove correct.
Thank you Ashsal.

We spent 4 days at Stewart Island and had some time to kill after arriving back on the mainland. It didn't take long to plot a small route through town to keep us occupied till dinner. A quick find here but we had to wait out an approaching muggle. So we sat down on the low wall, then got talking with this delightful lady. Her dinner recommendation was spot on. Thank you for the cache
In invers for the night so this was nearly on our way to
Found on the ground and no top but replaced it as best as we could

Arrived in Invercargill for a few days to visit family. Expected it to be wet and cold but it’s a nice day to be out and about caching. Enjoyed following the stream and collecting some caches. Nice bit of history. Thanks for the smiley.
*Nice day going from cache to cache with woolwood9.*
We soon had the container located. SL: **tm/ww NZ**
Thanks for putting this out for us to visit!

Down here with my Mum & brother for a week travelling around the bottom of the South Island. We are heading around and across to the Milford Sound.
Quick park and grab here this morning. Interesting glass work happening across the road. TFTC
In Invercargill for a week of work. But what to do in the evenings? Grab a few caches of course. A quick grab and sign. Thanks for the cache.

Thank you for this cache .
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I were down in Invercargill for a 60th Birthday party & an 87th Birthday celebration ... we had parked up & decided to go for a walk ... can remember numerous times the 'puni' used to flood & this a piece of great engineering designed to solve the problem .. pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally ... TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #1,943 for us.
Interesting monument/environmental award. Nice for the engineers to be recognized. TFTC
23 January 2021 20:13 Number 9135. Ethness was feeling pretty flat after all the driving today, so I dropped her at the backpackers and headed over to the supermarket to get dinner, and fill up the car. I noticed this cache was nearby, so diverted to find it. The hardest part was extracting the log and replacing it afterwards! Signed as Infoferret, Tftc
Really surprised that there aren't more people around today. Guess they are either working or away on holiday, although many shops are still shut too. tftc
Travelling home from a wonderful trip to Fiordland & Stewart Island, we managed to get over from the Island...but only just... all further ferry trips were cancelled for the day and also our plane flight from Invercargill. So we had an extra day to explore Invercargill once the wind had died down, which was a great bonus. Decided to walk around the green areas near our hotel and end up at the huge park which was a great surprise. What an awesome and varied park.
Unfortunately I forgot to take a pen but I did take photos of those caches we found that didn't have a pencil supplied. Found this one just where expected. Tftc.

Parked right next to it, had lunch around the block and just realised there was a cache right next to it. Nice and easily found, not magnetic anymore, but cool camo nonetheless. TFTC, greetings from Auckland
QEF here. Cheers.
Sunday 25 October. Checking out Invercargill today.
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Cache 49 Quick easy find, clever little container hardest part was trying to get the log out. (I recommend tweezers if you are hunting this cache) all I had was the end of my pen took a good 5 mins to finally get it out. T4TC
Jude-E and I are on a geocaching trip to the deep south. Instead of driving down from Christchurch we decided to get a cheap flight down. Thanks Ashsal for placing this geocache 7972 find for me.
Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.

Dunedin, Timaru, Invercargill caching trip for 3 days with rustynz and Rebel98. This trip involves a very long mission to obtain as many as we can of the new Tuia Mātauranga GeoTour series. We started in Auckland some time ago and intend to finish the series sometime this year. Only 100 caches to get for the souvenir… lol. We do have other caches on the horizon and we’re trying to get as many of those caches as well.
It's dark, rusty is navigating and we come here at night after a very long day with only 3 hours sleep or so, I imaging this is a lovely area in the daytime, I thought the cache was going to be 'there' byu rusty said no after a search, after a few minutes I recheck and found it 'there', all good, we sign in and move on.

On a caching adventure with some Westies (rustynz, rebel98 and gorby) to Otago and Southland, on a long weekend of caching fun
Being here at night, no problems with muggles or parking. Now I missed it, gorby found it, and rebel is tucked up in bed
Thanks for the hide Ashsal and for bringing us here

A quick find on our one day in Invercargill. On holidays from Melbourne. Log was a little hard to write on, but in good condition.
Nice quick find on my way to work this morning. Took longer to get the log out than to make the find. Good urban hide. TFTC!!!
Took a while but found it with H3ADZ123. couldn't get log book out so photo of proof of H3ADZ123 page
Going to log this as okay, based on the latest logs, will double check next time I am down this way. Thanks, Ashsal
Nice one! I achieved to extract the log, this was very hard btw but forgot my pen... Proof with photo ️
Cool cache. I met 4 other geocachers at the same time and helped them. A bit of a struggle getting the log out.

But I shot off and found two or three caches!
This took longer than it should have...
Very good hide thanks Ashal!

found all safe and secure after a rather tiring camping trip with the grand kids nice to pick up a cache on such an awesome day TFTC
Thanks for the story of this monument. Happily I had a tool with me. Greetings from Holland
Bewdy day for it in Invers for a spot of caching. Managed to get it out without tweezers... But jeeez. Cheers for the hide.
5pm walking through Invercargill city, nice piece of history, beautiful day for a walk aloneside the Otapuni gardens.
Mum was in Invercargill for work and had a wee bit of time up her sleeve in the afternoon; so she combined a walk and caching. She met a tourist looking for directions close to the cache, but managed to shake her to search.
It didn't take Mum long to locate the cache, sign the log and replace! I think this will now be our most southern cache!
