Took advantage of being in the area and thought we'd give it a go despite the previous dnf's. We also had no luck so co might want to check it out.
Nothing hanging here today ....too cold for a beer...
Hot drink would be acceptable !

Oring missing completely saturated log and no hook found. Definitely needs to be fixed up asap. Thanks
Out with a geo-buddy doing some nearby caches, and we decided to stop for this one, since we were driving right past it.
Had a good search at GZ and turned up nothing. I even wandered around on the ledge having a look, and startled a bird in its nest, which took off at top speed (whoops). Finally, we decided to give ourselves a 2min time limit and have a final search. Funnily enough, this method has worked for us in the past, and we were able to find the cache this time too at the last minute. Not where we thought it would be- we suspect it had fallen and been partially buried, as this is where we found it. Log completely saturated, and o-ring disintegrated as we opened the cache. Unfortunately, we didn't have anything with us that we could use to repair or replace this cache. We have taken a couple of photos for the CO should he/she require evidence of our find.
Logging a "needs maintenance" as it would be a shame to lose this cache....

Out and about with Newlynfam we decided to give this one ago.
After reading various logs and not been able to find it we settled on a 2min time limit. A search of high and low looking left me with a wide area to go thru.
I had a particular point i kept coming back to so rummaged around an wahoo cache in hand very soggy not a chance to sign would have disintegrated in our hand had we try remove it.
Photos taken as proof we found can email co if needed. Tftc time for a few cold ones now.....

Short stop this evening but no cache in view... it seems also strange that it was not found since close 5 months.

Out doing a bit of shopping solo, thought i would grab a few caches along the way. Nice view of the brewery...pretty flash. unable to drive past a nano in need of help, I fashioned a replacement log that should do fine for now. Needs an o-ring, didn't have one of those! Thanks nice cheeky cache
Felt too vulnerable at this time of day. Had a brief look but didn't want to make it too obvious. A pity as I had a replacement log in a bag in my pocket. Another time. Cheers.
Wow, impressive view! Found this pretty fast, but the log was soaked and impossible to write on. TFTC.
Had to pop out for something so made a detour to get in a few caches. This was a very easy find on a sunday night with hardly anyone around bar the odd car passing.
As I was walking away I noticed a second cache just lying on the ground. It must have been the original one so I hung it alongside the new one although not too sure how long the hook will last as its very rusty.
Thanks for the hide.

My one and only find for the day before a busy day of updating the newer residential streets in this area to OSM. Was certainly hangin out for a beer after that! Nicely hidden
Many thx for the placement
Many thx for the placement
Had to laugh when we saw the cache considering how long we had looked and how accurate our guesses were. As with others before us found the log was soggy. Took photo as proof. The beer factory is indeed impressive but the mechano tunnel sets next door were more interesting to us as today was our first view of them though mr j had read about them. NINO TFTC
I did some networking at the old plant in Newmarket many years ago, so it is good to see where they relocated.
I managed to get some ink on the log, so it must be staring to dry out. TFTC.

Easy find but as others noted log is damp amd I was unable to write in it. The attached is my proof.... There was a loverly hoppy smell in the area could have stayed for ages. ... TFTC
Cache is very visible from the sidewalk which was great for me as I located it in darkness very easy. Log is very wet and should be replaced. TFTC
The cache container was easy enough to find but I would think many times easier during the weekend and / or out of hours when the road is not so busy that the office blocks are not populated.
Unfortunately the log sheet resembled paper mache so it was not possible to be signed.
Looks like a missing O-Ring on the cache container so as one could imagine the container would get very water logged, very easily...TFTC

Cache found, very cool hide just totally sodden and cant be written on needs replacing.
Quick find by my sister. Log is soaked and needs to be replaced. Too bad I didn't have any with me. TFTC
Found quickly on a quite Saturday afternoon. Logbook is now pretty much non-existent - just a sodden mess.

Found it! Needs repairs too wet to write on it. Bet my husband - stoked haha
Found ages ago and just worked out it isn't a smiley. Brought Bjock along to GL so it has been found today. # 100!!!
I found this but am unable to sighn the log book due to it being soaked, requires some maintenance.
I was surprised to see this from several metres away. Am amazed it has not yet been muggled. The log is getting quite wet.
We like the name ....fits this cache. Log a little damp. Easy to spot when we thought about what we were looking for. TFTC
In the area for some cache maintenance and saw this cache on the radar so figured why not. Parked around the corner, apparently breaking the law to do so as my vehicle was less than 3.5 tons, but whatever. Made quick work of the cache - they really do not get any easier than this one! The logsheet is a little damp but otherwise, all good. TFTC!!!
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We decided to pop out East for a night caching session on a nice clear evening. We parked directly below the cache and managed to spot it shimmering from the car! Thanks for the cache! I was definitely hanging out for a beer by the end of the night!

How I missed this one on a previous visit I have no idea... maybe becuase it looks like a butterfly hiberating? t4tc
Mr B found it on the way home from work. Good thing he doesn't like beer or he might not have made it home. Cheers for the cache
Cant believe that i missed that one a few days ago. Saw it 5 Mtrs away this time
Hi. Have replaced log sheet, as it was too worn to open/use. Hope that is ok with you. If you would like it, please let me know.
As Cache owner, are you able to remove images from the log (I don't know if you can or if only the member who put them up can remove them). Would be nice to get the photo of the cache removed.
Cheers

The cache is out in the open (as pictured previously) and the log is too wet to sign - I didn't even take it out as I was worried that it would rip, so left it unsigned.
Found, very close to where I work, in fact I can see it every day as I drive passed, it is so visible.
As previous cacher noted, was out in the open, and log was extrememly wet.
Disappointing to see the spoiler image in the previous log

Another nice day of Caching in Auckland. Log quite damp. Very well exposed to all walkers by.Thanks for the hide
Quick stop and easy find. Cache was wet and needs replacing but we forgot paper today. TFTC.
Quick park and grab. Happened to park right in front of the right tree by coincidence!! Trees have recently been trimmed leaving cache very exposed. Sticks out like a sore thumb. Log was also a bit damp, but still signable. TFTC
Night cache find. Recent work has left cache rather exposed. Could not reposition. T4TC.
Found after dropping friends back home on the return trip of a tramp to Cape Brett. Cache had fallen from it's suspected original location and was on the ground, fortunately still dry. Have managed to re-hang from a convenient branch, accessible from the upper level, fairly low. TFTC.
Nice find while visiting Auckland and area. Very friendly bird watched me the whole time. SL TFTC
Well that was funny! Spotted it from one level then went to the other & couldn't find it again ! Felt very silly wandering back & forth but luckily it's Saturday morning and not a lot of muggles around. Thanks to Cospah for replacing the log. TFTC
Found it! Log saturated, so replaced with sheet of paper. Clever hide . TFTC PAHINA'S

Thought id come back here and have another go at this one. Arrived just on darkness and made a very quick find this time! Not sure how we missed it last time?! Log was saturated and O-Ring missing from container. TFTC!
WP was definitely on the lower level, but we searched from both levels unsuccessfully today
No luck for us with finding this one today. Spent a good 20 minutes in and around GZ trying to find it. We will be back again soon and hopefully have better luck than today.
30 Nice quick find. Smell of Beer in the air. Hhmmmmm. Needs new log, all wet.
Spent quite a while looking for this one. Log a bit damp. May need replacing soon.
Had hoped to find this one, but we were here just before 5.30 and there was someone in the office overlooking GZ, so decided it would have to wait for another day/night.
Found in the pouring rain, took a little while but finally spotted in a logical place. TFTC
Quick find as I stepped up to it, if i'd approached from a slightly different angle it would have taken a while. TFTC
It has taken me a while to get back here after my DNF ages ago.
As I was walking towards the GZ I noticed something shining in the sunshine (yes, the sun did shine for a while this morning). Yes, it was the cache. (Might pay to put some black tape on it.)
Cheers for the cache.

By the afternoon the sun was off the cache, and cold wind had picked up. After a little searching and some head scratchy found it...and well ready for the beer, perhaps in front of a fireplace. TFTC.
I've visited this plant a year or so ago, it's pretty nice and I always enjoy having one of their products . Went this morning with Master FriwiNZ as we had some shopping to do nearby. It took us a little bit of time to find it but we were prepared considering the previous logs . Nice hide, TFTC
You were a nasty little cache, i've looked for you 4 different times and you thought you had me beat, but i've got friends who told me where you hang out, I ripped you from your hidey hole and put some ink on you, now you belong to me!!!!
T4TC a great little hiding spot *grin*

I have been driving past here rather regularly recently. Each time I think, I should stop and grab that cache near here. Well, today I was prepared with GPS and co-ords so it was definetly time to tick this one off. I wasn't sure which elevation I should be on, but quickly made the find after a couple of circuits of GZ. Spotted cache from one elevation and then retrieved it from the other. Cheers for the cache!
Oh I hated this Cache for so long. Everytime passed this and thinking: oeioei I had a no find and other cachers could find it.
Today it was the day to go back (in the smelly air)...but I need to get it...I just need to find it.....
and.....After a long search....found it!!!! Jippperdejippie now I can pass this cache without a nasty thinking.
Compliments to the cacheowner.
