We must have crossed paths somewhere zombywoof. I too came for a look and found nothing. A few guys at a house spotted me but left not long after.
TFTH anyway.

Called in today to do some maintenance but it appears to have gone missing. Will replace sometime in the future.
Aaaargh Muggled! So there I was grovelling around in the immediate vicinity when the muggle interrupted my quest ,asking me what I was doing! I mumbled vaguely about looking for an unusual plant but whether I was believed I cannot be sure. I changed tack to a conversation about the nearby trig point. I eventually took my leave and trudged sadly away. This muggle lives very close by and when I return to have another go methinks that I will park my vehicle so as to interrupt the view from the houses to the hide.
No denying the presence of the trigpoint here! Pulled up alongside GZ with Gaz'n'Kab after the steep drive up and in the rain a quick hunt ended with a quick find. Nice views even through the rain today. TFTC zombywoof1954
This was our final view of Murwillumbah as we left town this morning.
A very narrow road/lane took us up to the lookout, it was made more difficult with a car & trailer parked there. Once at the top it all opened up. A well hidden cache.
Thanks zombywoof54

Visiting from Newcastle, house-sitting in Kingscliff, enjoying the area, TFTC zombywoof1954!!
Stunning views! Loved the hiding spot, one of those classic right-under-your-nose things!
Lovely views from here and so close to town. GeoMat went straight to the spot ...the GPS was right on the mark.
Thanks zombywoof1954 ...great hide

We have been on the Mount Warning before and from here we had a good view back. It was easy to find the box. Thanks for all the informations about this place
TFTC,
So close to where we are visiting. This Cache has allowed me a chance to grab a find on a day that will be very buisy and visit a group of trackables as I approach 6 months with a find for every day.

Albibops and I were headed down south for the week and were passing by this cache so why not stop in and grab it.
pulling the car up near GZ I noticed a man walking his 2 dogs....... Great now we have to wait till he moves on. As we got out of the car the man asked us if we were looking for the geothingy? He said he had met a few people looking for it as he lived in the house right there!
And interesting event for us.

As this is a T1 D1 there was no way that we were going to walk up the hill. After striking out on two possibles entrances we finally found the entrance and made the quick "drive by" find.

Found 5.30pm. Took us a while to sort out our driving directions but soon found where to park and ascended the path. Cache soon in hand. Brought through GC and TB. Tnlnsl tftc.
Found it easy enough - we were greeted by the older lady who lived nearby and got stuck for 10 minutes while she had a chat to us....
What an amazing spot for those few houses. Views no matter way you look out.
Took Mighty Bean left bouncy ball.
Thanks Zombywoof1954.

Although it wasn't raining at the time, we got rather wet as we retrieved this cache after a quick find. The cache and its contents were in good condition. TFTC zombywoof1954.
Out in the rain to grab some caches while on a short break. Nice quick easy find. TFTC

Was led to someones drive way at first but managed to locate the park entrance in the end.
Found at 1538, the hard part was finding a way into th GZ. Once there the find was easy. TFTC.
On looking at cache name, one would almost believe that the location was an AFL ground. Not the case!
Pity that survey markers don't give co-ordinates to enable us cachers to verify the accuracy of our GPS receivers.
Good cache, good hide and magnificent view. What more could one want?

Found with someone who lived in murwulimbah for a number of years, but didn't know this spot existed!! Easy find and great views TFTC
We missed the turnoff up teh hill as the GPSr had the wrong street name. It would seem like a very pleasant spot to live way up here in the clouds.
We spotted the trig mark easy enough and figured there must be a GCA smiley in that, so took a photo.

Diane was able to find cheap airfares to the gold coast on a weekend that all three members of Team Crackers could organise time off. After the booking was confirmed we realised it was the start of schoolies so we decided on a Southern Queensland / Northern New South Wales inland assault instead. We had a little trouble finding the correct road to access this one as we missed the road in and the GPSr telling us to walk through peoples houses. So we retraced our steps and found out where we had gone wrong and had no sooner finished making comment that it would be tight if car was coming from the other direction and lo and behold as if on cue one appeared coming down the hill. Once at the top we were impressed with the views afforded here, the local residents certainly have a great vista to wake up to. With nobody else in sight the cache was quickly located and the log book duly signed.
Thanks zombywoof1954 for showing us this great vantage point.

what a great view, and without this hobby we would not have had the privledge of taking in this view. TFTC
Couldn't believe where the GPSr was taking me, but followed it to GZ and well, as you know, there's a cache there. TN/LN/SL. It must be fun for the garbage truck driver to get in and out of that street. I found it a cosy place in my HiAce van.
Interesting area. Took us a bit of time finding the park as the driving details had us in Eyles Lane instead of Myrtle lane so DO take the 3rd on the left BUT not into Eyeles Lane and you have it.
Another great view of Murwillumbah from here. Good clue and easy find.
This cache was on a round trip from Currumbin through the Currumbin Valley to Murwillumbah and back via Tweed. Glorious day with great views. Highly recommended.

Another hidden park on top of another hidden M'bah hill
My own trail to the top started at the bottom and led me along narrow lanes and up pathways that only the locals would know existed
On top of it all was a delightful patch of mown greeness with lovely views over the roof tops [^]
Past the mark I found my mark and left me mark on the logbook

Thankfully, the TomTom lead me up the right way straight up to this one. The area was abandoned tonight, making the hunt fairly easy. Quiet as a church mouse, I made the find and signed the log. I picked up the trackable as well. Some nice views from here. TFTC zombywoof1954
Set out today to do a loop out to Murwillumbah, Uki, Stokes Siding and back to Tweed heads. This was #9 cache on the route but our 7th find. GPS led me to a road below the park showing the cache about 90m away up the hill. Climbed the path and steps to find the park at the top as well as road access. Checked out the TP and found the nearby cache. SL TFTC here. cloudglider

Really nice trip from Nerang down to Tweed Heads via a back road scenic highway. Picked up some good geocaches on the way. Soon had this cache located. Good area. SL TFTC
Nice easy cache! Our first one! Great views too, would have to be one of the best views in Murwillumbah.
Easy find! we took our friends (with a 6 year old daughter) for the first time geocaching and they loved it! Took plastic butterfly and left string doll
Happy new year. No 20 for the day. Coming towards the end of a tiring day. Had to walk up a steep hill for this one because we entered from below. Easy find. Nice view over the valley. Still raining TFTC.
Very neat views. Quick find while passing through town and picking up a couple of caches. L croc. TFTC.
Found this the other day on our geocaching trip around finaly after it stopped raining for a bit
Despite the rain, the views were still great. Left geocoin. Great spot for a cache. Thanks zombywoof1954
We've been to Murwillumbah many times and travelled out along Byangum Rd, but never knew of this park. It has such a panoramic view! Thanks for bringing us here. Took the toy dog and left a toy fireman. TFTC
On a caching weekend with Mr & Mrs Mischievous Maverick, and Mr & Mrs Rastas000. Great Fun. Thank you!
On a caching weekend away with Rastas000, Mrs Rastas, The Green Geckos (Both of them), my wife and I had a marvellous time. Oh, and we got some caching done.

Found with Dannza and thought we may get a nose bleed on the way up the hill. Also thought a piece of plastic and some dishwashing detergent would make a fun slide for the trip down. TFTC
