I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi GenCusterThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
The final coords were easily figured, but on approach, see GZ is on private land & access no longer allowed ️
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Sadly couldn't find it, the directions doesn't really help either. Overall, perfectly placed clue
Umpteenth visit for me here, but second time to hunt out the geocache. "The Waterfall" is looking rather better today than previous visits to "take the waters" and we had the place to ourselves.
I guess the warning signage might have something to do with that, but the path is well worn and the DOC signage is still warning about not putting your head underwater.
But the cache! Juty Bug & I stopped here enroute to the Auckland Mega from New Plymouth. We searched, and searched, and searched some more. We searched every hint object... well not every one as we didn't find the cache starting at GZ and increasing the radius. We couldn't find the spoiler forked tree even!
After 30 minutes, dusty, scratched and bleeding from the dead dry ponga fronds, we gave up and returned to the really hot car and continued our road trip.
Bugger. Not happy with this one. Too vague. The trouble with vague non-specific hides is one ends up disturbing the vegetation too much, no matter how carefully one searches. I might have to finally put this one on my tiny Ignore list.

Sadly, at least according to the sign, the final location here is no longer accessible.
When I first started caching, in late 2016, I solved all the puzzles within 100km of Tauranga. I've been slowly picking them up but, each time I decided to go for this one, it seemed it was muggled. Today, the gate was locked but, as it had been found only a few days ago, I decided it was worth the walk. A Japanese family were in residence so I acted nonchalant whilst I located the cache. A photo opportunity provided the cover and grab, sign and replace were accomplished whilst everyone was looking the other way. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC & FP.
Stayed the night in Rotorua on our way up to Auckland to see the kids. Had lots of spare time to cache. Had solved this one quite a while ago, ready for our next trip here. Fortunately there were no muggles around here this afternoon, so the log was soon signed. TFTC
12/12/20 13:00 Check cache. All good, exactly where it should be. Thanks for finding my cache.
Well I found the right place without solving the puzzle to have a lovely bath all by myself. Sadly could not find the cache. Must try and get the coords sorted.
Happy to have at last found this cache
I have been here a couple of times, mostly for swimming, and sometimes to look for this cache.
The last time I logged a DNF was 20/10/17, so was determined today to find the elusive cache.
Arriving at GZ, with no one else around, I was lucky to be able to search the area by myself.
With the detailed hint, this time I had the cache, and was soon signing the log.
As to the hide, not sure how much longer the cache will be in its hiding place, as it looks like muggles have been using the area as a short cut, and very little vegetation is left on the bank where the cache is hidden.
But caching is a funny thing, and it might not be a problem at all.
A fun puzzle to find, even the DNF where memorable. So thanks again GenCuster for creating, hiding and maintaining this Puzzle cache.
Another fun find this caching adventure.
The CO has kindly given hints in the description, and a previous log in 2019: If you look through the fork of the tree in the spoiler photo, it is the Punga at that level.

No joy for us today, it was tricky to zone in on gz because of the tree cover and we couldn't even find the tree in the spoiler photo despite spending 15 minutes searching
We had solved this puzzle back in 2015 but had not been able to locate the cache on two previous visits to the area. On our first attempt in 2016 we had limited time and realised afterwards we were looking in the wrong place. On our second attempt (in 2017?) we had the correct spot but the cache was too well hidden and we got muggled so had to abandon search. Today another careful search failed again to locate a cache until we phoned the CO, and a little more info encouraged us to have one last look! The container was finally located, to cheers from the rest of the party (which included Mrs nzkites’ Mum, and a couple with a young baby who were visiting from California), log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for bringing us to this picturesque place, another we would not have known about were it not for geocaching. Many thanks GenCuster for the puzzle cache and your help today, and a fave from us.
Knowing we were going to be in the area, Tim worked out the puzzle. Glad to have visited the area today, though cache took a while to find, the last maintenance log needs to be in the hint or description as it wasn't till we read this that the cache was found.

Found with Mummypenny as we headed away from Rotorua today. After visiting the geyser, we came here and searched around in the bush vainly, before realising muggles had taken over GZ. After waiting a while, Mummypenny braved the causeway and succeeded after a bit of searching. Thanks GenCuster.
It was a matter of wait for muggles to gaze at their phones somewhere else or be brazen and search for our prize.
Got it after a while.
Great place, thanks for brining us here

After working with Yodabeach I decided to head off and find it. She had got there first. Took a while to look round and little help from the CO I managed to find it.
Cheers for taking me to this awesome spot.
Cheers for taking me to this awesome spot.
I solved the puzzle in preparation for our visit to Reporoa. Thought this would've been the spot that mr yodabeach had shown me many years ago but no - it's way cooler! I was so glad to have set out early in the morning as wai-o-tapu was pretty deserted when we got here. After admiring the location at GZ for some time (and believe me - that's very rare, usually the cache is top priority), I set about deciphering the clues. Saw a likely spot and bingo! Very nicely tucked away. The kids and I were tempted for a soak but reluctantly have shelved that for another day. Definitely a spot to show mr yodabeach!!! A favourite, without a doubt! Thanks for the fun puzzle and cache.
19/09/18 13:30 New cache container in place. It is where it originally was, just to left of a horizontal Punga growing from bank. If you look through the fork of the tree in the spoiler photo, it is the Punga at that level. Please cover well as this can be a popular spot. Happy caching... Cheers, GC
12/09/18 Bit dark by the time I came through tonight. Expect a new container this weekend.
Made my way to GZ, lots of tracks in this area, searching for something that resembled the spoiler picture (not so big on the phone!)
Various trees have fallen over, and then after reading previous comments about the co-ords being out, back tracked and searched again in another location. Sadly no cache found
A large group were having a swim, then we had the area to ourselves. No swim this visit, just a soak of the feet
Beautiful spot!

It's definitely time for KrystalKath & I to "take the waters" again. Finished work early so we could get to Waikite Thermal pools before dark. Stayed in their campground, took the waters, and again this morning and now continuing our road trip in support of Captain Mary Hyde.
Solved this one ages ago, and have even been to GZ before when we were hunting out natural hot pools. Got within 2.5 m of GZ but couldn't see anything resembling the hint. Checked out all hints to no avail. Disturbed a local naked bather lol. Track is much improved over the years and the stream has been dammed to provide a better pool. We will return another time. TFTC

Its Been a while and now its time to catch up on all the logging that I've put off to a rainy day (while it may not be raining, where we were heading the roads are still closed hence sitting here doing this).
A bit of a mini mission with HKCB & RWIMF to clear out many of the caches south of Rotorua. There were a few specific caches targeted for the day but there were also enough other caches to make it a very interesting day. A great big thank you for all the work and effort put in by the cache owners in keeping it all going. (and you'd be surprised where you can actually take a 2WD work vehicle when the boss doesn't know)
So thank you for the placement, thank you for the cache

On a bit of a clean out mission in the South of Rotorua with Cats&Dragons and RWIMF, but we did have our eye on a few specific caches for the day. Is was a really good day out with a lot of new places visited, however the day didn't quite go to plan as there were a couple of things happened which made the day very eventful and in the end cut short the caching day, but more on those at the caches they happened. Sorry for the mostly copy and past logs, but a big thanks to the CO's for the placements and the reason to visit these places. We signed the logs with HamC, HCR or a mash up of both.
This puzzle has been in the solved pile for a very long time, so I'm rather pleased to finally turn it into a smilie especially with the search that was needed to find the cache. The coordinates were pointing us about 10m out but the photo clues put us in the right area, and after checking every spot or so we thought RWIMF turned to the logs and found a little bit more info and found the cache in a place we had previously checked. Obviously not well enough though! Thanks for the puzzle and the neat location at the final, giving it a fav point.

I freely admit I suck at solving puzzles but luckily the guys I was caching with today are not, so off to the final location we went. We searched high and low, and then I read some of the previous logs and thought "where would I sit and be able to find this cache"... although we'd searched this spot before - turns out we hadn't searched it well enough. So happy - even if I want the one who cracked the code for the location, I cracked the other clues and found the hidden cache! We signed the cache HCAR - our initials to save space
For the last few months I've been trying to figure out which cache I read about that had a little known hot pool. Well, I mentioned it, yet again, to georunnermatt and he very quickly found it. I solved the puzzle while he was out for a post TUM swim, then he quickly solved it when he returned. We headed off for a little adventure rather late at night, GPS and togs in hand. We parked up by the gate and wandered diem the road in the moonlight, easily finding an entry point. Finding the cache after this proved a lot more difficult. We scrambled about and compared photo items and scrambled about some more. Eventually I said 'enough, I'm going to sit in the water' and we did. The water was a glorious temperature and we lamented not bringing a lighter or more tealight candles. We alternated water to shore a couple of times when Matt spied the cache! As soon as I heard "oh shit" I also spotted it in the light of his headlamp. A good 20m minimum away from where GPS had us looking. We were very relieved to not have to scramble about more, looking for it back to our bag for a pen and checked the clock, yay it was 12.02 making it a valentine's day log for us nawwww tftc! A favourite for location
Found this cache with livee_nz on a late night adventure. We had a quick look at it before I had to go out, and thought we had the right idea on how to solve the puzzle. I headed out for a swim (at the aquatic centre) while livee solved the puzzle. I solved the puzzle after getting home, and then we headed out on the drive to the cache.
We searched unsuccessfully for a while near a tree that looked like the one in the spoiler photo, and also in the area both of our gps devices were taking us (which was 15-20m away from the waterfall and hot pool). After about 20 mins, we decided to take a break from looking for the cache and have a soak in the hot pool. After getting a bit too warm in the water, we got out to cool off, and then I spotted the cache when getting back into the water, when I wasn't even looking for it! When checking the time and date to sign the log, the watch said 12:02am on the 14th of Feb, so this was a Valentine's Day find for us! TFTP & TFTC

21/12/16 18:00 Enjoyed the short walk in the evening sun, caught some vitamin D. Had two replacement containers as was expecting no cache to be found... wrong!
I have decided that the hint was too specific, after finding the existing cache container exactly where I would have placed it, if the original location was no longer suitable. Cache is about a metre lower than original placement and is alluded to in a recent 'found' log. It took me less than a minute to check original site, not find it, think where I would have placed it if I was a cacher (no, wait, I am a cacher!), look there and hey, presto. And it's a better location than original. So thanks to whoever moved it.
Cheers, GC.

On my way down to this year's NZ MEGA event (NZ Geocaching Adventure 2016, Turangi). Karicka kindly gave me a lift and we had a fun afternoon grabbing a number of caches on the road from Rotorua to Turangi.
This was an amazing hidden gem site and well a DNF just means I'll have to come here again.
Enjoyed caching this weekend, or would like to join a large group of cachers next year then check out:

Lorok just saw this cache and had an idea. So together we figured it out. Even so the checker said it was wrong, we gave it a try, since the coordinates were reasonable. Found the pool and the spoiler picture, but the hint was very misleading, if you are not very very small...
So far seen on this trip: Thailand and New Zealand.

After a semester abroad in New Zealand, I travel around the country with MMXX now. There are plenty of amazing spots to discover.
Thanks for placing a geocache here and sorry that I keep my logs short. This hot waterfall is one of the best places I have seen so far.

We solved this about a year ago, and finally had the opportunity to look today. Unfortunately we had just arrived near GZ at 11.30am when a ranger (?) arrived to say we need to leave as he was locking the entrance gate at 12midday. When we explained what we were up to he reluctantly gave permission for us to search for the cache as long as we didn't keep him waiting. A combination of terrain and time pressure kept this cache hidden from us today. Thanks for bringing us to another lovely area though, we hope to be back sometime in the future. On our way out we explained geocaching in a bit more detail as the young guy seemed quite interested, so maybe we made a convert?
Solved this one last week, nice puzzle. Then we were camping at Waikite Valley with our scout Troop and doing some of the local caches. This one was a particular favourite TFTC.
Solved the puzzle ages ago but with Alouette955 visiting from Canada, it was a great time to go and claim it today. Coords were way off for us (and probably for others as it looks like a few people went in that direction). Really the only way to find this is with the spoiler photo (which lucky for me Alouette955 had on his phone - I have a garmin GPS so no pics with the description). Still had to hunt a while (puzzle took less time!), but found eventually. Thanks for bringing me to this little hidden area. Always love discovering new places like this via geocaching.
Solve this puzzle in december 2010 from Canada while helping fanfan-77 on here 1st puzzle cache.
Have to wait my actual trip in NZ to grab it. Normaly people don't wait that long but none come from Canada just for a wek-end.
TFTC
P.S. 15 meters offset for my GPS ... and geo trail is forming in this direction. I might not be the first to go the wrong GZ.

Solved the puzzle a couple of weeks ago knowing we wete coming this way on a road trip. Got to gz only by following the photo as GPS pointing in a different direction. Had to PAF who had done it previously for a hint. Got there in the end. Nice little spot tftc
What an awesome spot a hidden gem. It's amazing how this takes you to so many amazing spots in your own back yard. Thanks for the puzzle and thanks for the cache
Our second Puzzle Cache for the Day - Ive been meaning to log this one for a long time - Thanks for bringing us to this amazing place - next time we will pack our togs. TFTC
Saw this cache description and gave the inspiration to look for this. Didn't solve or find the cache, but found the pools! Will come prepared next time with the solved puzzle and some togs!
What a wonderful spot! We enjoyed solving this one and then had a nice relaxing time in the pool (even though it was raining). Thanks for showing us a great area. TFTM
I solved this puzzle last year sometime using Dr Google and it has sat in my pile of solved puzzles been meaning to go and find it for a while but haven't been out this way. As it was Pi day and I needed to get a puzzle cache to get souvenir I thought I would come out and do this cache and the one around the area. I parked at trail head and proceeded down to GZ track was a bit overgrown but still passable got down to to the waterfall what a magical place no one about looked at the clue and walked straight up to cache signed the log which was a little wet wiped it dry and shoke container out. I didn't have a swim as it was way to hot for my liking.

Solved the puzzle without help. It was quite enlightening, knowing the temperature my knee joints will boil at. Kelvin, Celsius or Fahrenheit is irrelevant. I don't want to be there when it happens.
The road is closed now, unless you want to buy a ticket to see Lady Knox. But we got to GZ and found the cache safe and sound. Slightly wet, but not needing maintenance.
Thanks GC. It was fun there.

Wanted to go and find this one today give the length of time since it was last found and knowing where it would be by local knowledge (Dad) but thought best to skip it this time considering we were in peak tourist season and go for some other less muggly caches instead. Will come back for this in quieter times Gives me another excuse to come up from South Island to see Dad!
Great treasure hunt during our time around Rotorua/Taupo. We'd especially liked decrypting the chemical mystery. After some wrong intuition we finally got to this beautiful hidden spot - with some help of a friendly gardener -. It's definitely a favorite=)!
Decrypted the riddle with a little help of our good friend Google Awesome cache at a very nice and special area. Most highly recommended!
... But only by accident when we recognised the tree in the photos! Now to solve the puzzle...
Though this cache has been 'out there' for quite some time I only discovered the puzzle just before MEGA Auckland. It was quickly solved before the trip north but unfortunately heading south from Rotorua was not on my CANZ itinery as I headed toward the MEGA. Had some time to spend between sporting commitments today so took the oportunity to sign this one off. The gate was locked so I hiked in. Had a little difficulty when I got to the end of the trail - GZ was still 14m away! Fortunately I had taken the advice and had stored the spoiler in my gps. Took a little time to identify which manuka tree that was, but once identified the cache was in my hands soon after. Fortunately it was too hot to take the plunge and indulge in a little skinny dipping - a fact that others at this evening's social dinner would, I'm sure, be grateful for. Thanks for the cache.
A very well done puzzle, rather cool in fact Solved this one a long ago so very pleased to get an opportunity to finally visit. Forgot my togs, but there was no one else about so ...... very invigorating.

Solved a while ago and in the area today to be able to complete the paperwork. No one around, was tempted to stop for a dip but was running short of time. Maybe on another occasion. TFTC, #5514
The gate was locked, but we had a most enjoyable walk down the road, and had the spot all to ourselves at GZ. Mr L got sidetracked by a similar looking 'spoiler' - but Mrs L soon put him right, coming up trumps with the cache. Excellent puzzle & hide, ... so a big thank you from us. Our best cache of the day!
Obviously been some muggles here as there's some clothes lying around - must have left in a hurry & forgotten to get dressed properly! No one here when we came through this morning though.
Found cache after a bit of a search. Log books wet.
Left a pet rock - a bear cub. TFTC

Finally managed to tick this one off the list. Last time we searched and searced at least 20m away from the cache and this time we read the description and had the cache in hand in seconds. Went for a dip with Mycro Man, Wandering Dragons and Violet Butterfly. Bit "muddy" but still I nice dip. Prefer the Kerosene Creek, but this was a welcome change. T4TC.
Did today with Crystal Fairy, MycroMan and Wandering Dragons. My first Rotorua pool. TNLNSL. TFTC!

Great puzzle. Enjoyed discovering a new scenic spot in the area. No-one around. Great instructions. Thanks.
5/02/13 12:30 It appears that the road gate is permanently locked now? It was open when I visited yesterday but was locked 15 minutes later. I will have a look why, if possible. Cheers, GC.
4/02/13 13:30 Log replaced with a 'new improved' waterproof model... This cache should cause no more dampness
Thanks to all this who've found / will find my cache(s). Cheers, GC.

Cache Log is a bit damp and getting difficult to write on. Attempted to dry in the sun, nothing suitable on me to put in a temporary replacement.
We headed out after to work to log, prior knowledge helps feels a bit like geocaching cheating but if geocachers can log their own caches well it must be aok. Not another human being in sight, quiet peaceful and serene, on a beautiful early summers evening. Plenty of water still spilling over the top, despite the dry spell. TFTC, Great location and in my opinion has all the ingredients of an excellent Geocaching Experience 10 out of 10.
Cache may not be in exact location replaced exactly as found!!, covered and well hidden. Log Book is a tad on the damp side, attempted to dry, had nothing on my person to put in a temporary replacement. A little difficult to write on. Logging Maintenance to advise the Cache Owner.

I took the whole family to GZ with the promise of finding a unique spot. Unfortunately the gate was locked so reluctantly they followed me down the 500m long road. GZ did feel pretty special and the little waterfall looked very inviting, but the danger sign stopped us from actually going into the water (but it didn't stop a small group of youths arriving just after us). I looked around for a while and missed the new hint on the cache page and as a result unfortunately have to post a DNF here
Thank you nevertheless GenCuster as we did go after to Waiotapu and had a fantastic time walking around there.

After failing to find this cache when were up here at Easter 2011, because it was missing, today it was a quick easy find, with the extra information now provided, even although, once again, we didn’t have the spoiler photo. We surprised some Asian tourists getting dressed after their swim when we arrived at the pool, and two more groups of people arrived as we were leaving. The very select group of people must be increasing in size. TFTC
Solved several months ago at my desk in Wellington, in anticipation of being in the area sooner or later. Despite frequenting another nearby bathing spot, this one was a startling surprise, so thank you for bringing it to my attention. The kids will LOVE it during the Christmas holidays. Took me longer than it should have to find the cache, but got there in the end. Just as I emerged from the trail a pair of tourist lovebird muggles arrived, but the place was otherwise deserted. TFTC
Keenly solved the cache as soon as I tuned into the CO's ideas about chemistry The reason to come was quite transparent, especially after getting out of the water which was amazingly relaxing by the way. Thanks for the puzzle, the cache, es koszi mindent amit nem lehet szoval kifejezni with words turning into weaving
Mum solved this one prior to our leaving for Rotorua, and so we headed over here after a long days caching.
Well, turns out we were too late for the gates, (wow 5pm is early!) so did the 400mish walk thing over to the start of the trail.
Took a dip, but, well first things first, found the cache.
Didn't have the spoiler pict, but had the CO! So cache was found after a bit of rummaging around.
Had an awesome dip after though. Nice warm water, but I was just a little paranoid of the bacterias!! Haha, but I'm still alive, so that can't be a bad thing right? Lol.
TFTC!!

Maintenance Check. At least that was 'my' reason? Which reason do you need? Pick a reason, any reason...
Cache in situ, exactly where originally placed - so big shout-out to squirrel nutcase for placing it back. Log is a tad damp but eminently writeable. Cheers, GC.

Have been caching seven months now. This cache has sat in the 'Too Hard Basket' for a long time.
I sat in bed looking at the cache description last night, and was struck with a sudden flash of inspiration. After a short search of Google, I found the answer.
Took a detour out to ground zone on a glorious spring day. Crossed the causeway and worried that I might not find the cache. No problem though, the container was out in the open and clearly visible. Log was quite damp. Not sure where this came from, so placed below a fern and covered with debris. TFTP and TFTC.

Brought our kids for their 1st geothermal visit & this was on our MUST-DO list of Rotorua/geothermal themed-caches. Great puzzle, fantastic location. Adults were focussed on GPS whereas kids immediately recognised GZ from the spoiler pic, with a straightforward find. Amazing to have the place to ourselves today. Thanks so much for bringing us here.
We solved the puzzle last year but didn't get a chance to visit before today. The final is hidden in a wonderful location, which luckily we had to ourselves this morning. Between the spoiler photo, hint and some of the logs we were sure we were in the right spot, but the cache took quite a lot of finding. We certainly had to step over something to reach the cache. Thanks for the puzzle and for showing us this place. Gets a favourite point.

It would appear many backpacker muggles are also in the know. Gorgeous pool and falls but we didn't want to search for long with an audience. We see it hasn't had a find since Oct, though!
Thanks for a good puzzle (needed nudge in right direction) and bringing me to a really beautiful spot - took awhile to find the cache though - did not need to go over the tree TFTC

14:30 New Container and Log Sheet in place. Bring Your Own writing instrument, container not suitable for TB's or swaps.
Cache description edited.
Difficulty Rating changed from 2 to 3.5 due to brain effort involved. Terrain changed from 2 to 2.5 as not suitable for small children unless directly supervised (hot water, slippery underfoot, mud) and of course, don't put face in water or wet hands in mouth, nose.

Hi GenCuster, I was driving back from town today and had a bit of time so I dropped in to check your cache. It's not where I found it a few months ago (which was where hint photo says), or anywhere within a couple of metres from there.
(I volunteer to drop off a temporary replacement container and log for you next time I go to town if you want). Cheers

Solving the puzzle was easy, but we didn't succeed in finding the cache. We went as close to the coordinates as feasible, and after crossing the causeway were still 16-18 metres away, but assumed from other logs that this was where we should search. We had looked at the spoiler photo some time ago, but didn't really recall it, and without a proper hint or accurate coordinates it was pretty impossible.
#1843. Thanks for introducing us to this wonderful place. We were also among the lucky few who found your Bonsai cache, so this is a double bonus. GZ was quiet - so we had the place all to ourselves. Thanks for the spoiler photos too, as we wouldn't have found the cache otherwise, as the GPS was saying it's 19 m away! TNLNSL. TFTC.
11am - Knew where location was as used to swim here as kids, couldnt figure out co-ords so used information available to find cache, also found a NZ 50c in search so will relocate it to Rainbow Mountain, what a cache to find, sort of like a Xmas present for us TFTC
Yup, I knew where this was, could have cheated! Photo is very good spoiler, immediate find. Nice spot, cleaner than others around the place. Found a black pen on the edge of the pool, took it home Will try another puzzle before xmas.
Cheers TFTC
Cheers TFTC
Closest puzzle to home. Difficuty 2? Am I thick? I've spent 2-3 hours on this already and mostly gone nowhere!
As a local I think I know where this is, although I've never been there myself. With the spoiler photos I think I can find the cache... Should I cheat?
Later: Thanks GenCuster for the hint, was easy after that. Still don't understand how some could have figured it out in 20 minutes. I must need practice with lots more puzzles! Will hopefully get the cache tomorrow. I'll send you photos, Alouette, who didn't need GenCuster to solve it!

Solved with FANFAN-77 ... her near the cache and me in Canada.
I don't hink I will find the cache before here

An easy but ingeniously concealed find. I remember many years ago visiting this place for an evening's soak. Parked on the road was a septic tank cleaning pump truck, the driver and his mate disporting with soap in the pool. No whimps then, we joined them and exchanged anecdotes. I particularly remember the one about retrieving false teeth... but I digress...TFTC
My GPS had me searching about 18m away even with the spoiler. So it was a careful read of the notes again and then it didn't take long to have the cache in hand. Note to Dingbat: Don't skip read the cache notes.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
nearly got the puzzle figured and then took a gamble on some local knowledge to seize this cache
4435 Wasn't quite Valentines Day today, but you are right, this sure is an awesome spot to bring your valentine. Was tempted to take a dip but didn't fancy the idea of getting muddy again .
