Time to let it go! broke my GPS screen looking for this months ago

After a slip and slide down the mud only to log a dnf.

Went looking for this one at 9.30pm, I had the idea that perhaps I would frighten fewer drivers by looking for it in the dark. After some time searching, and the run of "Did not finds" I very much feel that this one has been muggled.

I am quite sure that this one has been muggled and needs to be replaced.

Spent a bit of time here and checked the obvious spots a number of times and did not find. Maybe next time?

Was in town for the Auckland Writers Festival so thought we would give this one a try again.

Unfortunately third time was not lucky for us! Searched extensively but to no avail!

Another DNF experience with this cache!

Found this one today with my beautiful friend who got an intro into the world of geocaching. Had to look for remains of glue as the sign fell off. TFTC

4th for day, heading to an event in Auckland domain, hubby had car so decided to bus in and work my way to domain cache by cache (easier doing the city one by foot anyway).
Come to this cache from the path below, I have a feeling the council don't want people down here as there is orange mesh fencing (albeit flattened from people passing this way) at the top of bank.
Had just about decided cache wasn't here, when I picked up something that I thought was rubbish that would make a good cache container. Thankfully I looked inside, as there was a log. Reading through the logs I realised it was the temporary replacement cache.
It's not where the hint has you looking, but rather beside what the hint is attached to terraferma with.

Thanks to the Red-breasted Road Warblers working in the zone (how dare they - it's a SATURDAY!) I had to walk on by ... but I'll be back ...

Day 7 (and the final day) of the KiwiFruitsNZ/Vamber Xmas Road Trip saw us drive from Whakatane to Auckland, with the aims of securing more caches towards our GIO Licence and making SandGropers event at Albert Park by 5pm.

Had some time to kill before the SandGropers Event so thought we would grab this cache. Unfortunately, it got the better of us! We will return!

This one took a while. Read a previous log that a temporary white container was now in place. The cache was then quickly found.TFTC.

Thanks for showing this nice place. In times of the semester brake it is really peaceful here. No need to worry about muggles for once.

Together with Sandra_und_Marc replaced. We had a little white box in our backpack. Now it is with a log sheet at the coordinates. Hopefully it will survive.

Gosh, we came by this cache a couple of times so we thought we might as well restore it. Hope that is okay with everybody!

Well, I think this cache is gone as they have just completed some road work...

Can the CO check if the cache is there?

Also no joy. No road works now, but looks like it's gone.

From the look of it, the crash barriers were replaced recently, so the cache might be gone?

As per the previous log, we did not find this. There has been a lot of roadworks and we suspect the cache may have gone. Never mind..... another time. This was a great location.

I paid a visit at night and found access was still open in spite of the works. However, there was a guard on duty (all night?) and as noted before, the GZ seems to be where the workers' sheds have been set. I hope I can come back to Auckland and find it reloaded one day...

Yeah just like the previous cachers, I found a construction zone. So did not really get very close.

As mentioned by previous people, unfortunately due to the road works in this area, I wasn't able to find the cache. I also suspect that it may have been removed by the workers.

Please check cache is there, as GZ dismantled with motorway works, see pictures attached.

Road works in place, the crash barrier has been removed, the cache maybe gone. Could CO please check. Not mine to find today. See photos of GZ attached.

Dang it, failed miserably on this one. Oh well, the torch batteries were not strong. Cheers

Found this while looking for the Hidden Valley cache (unsuccessful). Ziplock bag falling apart and lid rusty but nothing serious. TYFTC!

Decided to detour to this cache while waiting for some security muggles to dpeart from a nearby cache. Went the long way around but still was ableto make the find. Tftc

Bei meiner Reise um die Welt ist Neuseeland derzeit mein zu Hause. Dabei heute mal Auckland unsicher gemacht. Zuerst etwas in und um Avondale, dann später noch mal in die City. Dabei auch hier vorbei gekommen.

Zip loc bag is falling apart. Lid is loose.

Nice quick find. The lid on the tin is broken and needs replacing.

Started off at the wrong side of the road, considered on doing a balancing trick to beat MorganEd to the find but common sense got the better of me. TFTFC.

tricky to figure out how to get there but brains kicked in and we got there

Apprached the cache from above, nobody was looking. At first the coordinates pointed towards the fence, but after a while i found the cache where it was hidden.
The lid is loose, and the container should probably be replaced.

Found it this morning minus lid. Everything was dry, but tin needs replaceing. Almost spot on for GZ as well

Found GZ pretty easily, but all that we could find was the lid of the mint tin (covered in black electrical tape, so likely the cache container), but no mint tin and log book itself. Looks like it's fallen and gotten blown away.

Last minute night caching in Auckland before leaving in the morning to spend my last week in NZ in Raglan. TFTC!

Nice easy find. Mr Plod had stopped at the lights nearby and was probably wondering what I was doing where I was so I headed for a more public area before he became too inquisitive.

I grabbed it this morning, made a slight detour from going to the near by bus-stop, this is not the only time in the last few days that I have been glad how dry it is, that slope looked evil. Fortunately I have a great pair of hiking sandals, so I was up and down in no time at all. Quick easy find, not too many cars around to watch me grabbing the cache. TFTC #46

Was in town for the lantern festival, but decided not to attempt today, as I was wearing summer sandals, and didn't fancy ending up on my bottom. Will attempt when wearing more appropriate footwear.

A quick find after attending a church Service next door. Steep access but on a sunny day with good sneakers didn't prove to be a problem. tftc

On our way to from the hostel to the Auckland War Memorial Museum we had been looking for that stash. I have been been thankful for not beeing a dog owner. So I could focus on searching and logging. Thank you!

Nice little start for our second day at New Zealand ... found it together with Uhiesscher. TFTC

Here for my induction day & arrived with some time to spare; good chance to grab a couple of caches & find my way around. Took a moment to work out how I was going to get to GZ but all good once I found the obvious route, tftc

to far to jump from the hidden valley.. so took the long way and quickly had it in hand... then followed the track down in to the grass - phew it does come out close to the next one..

We found this one after a long walk through and around buildings. I would not recommend approaching from the rather unpleasant and somewhat neglected Grafton gully side of the architecture building. Tftc.

Tried to get this last week but was foiled by some muggles delivering a table tennis table to the area. Turns out the cache was nowhere near where they were; I would of been able to get it undetected just like I was tonight. Thanks!
