As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Three of us could not find this one, but there was a cast funny face sitting on the post.Did not want to smash it open so left it there.
I see there has been a few dnf's recently - I will drop in on this one and sort it out over the next week, cheers richbritty (cache owner)
We spent a good 15 minutes searching in a 10m radius and didn't find anything. Had a good bike ride though.
Believe we knew where this one should have been but it appears to be missing.
One team member managed to get a slight "shock" - but soldiered on for the rest of the day!

Good spot for a container, the parking space should be enough for a few cachers at once. There was not much traffic around today and we found it quickly. Thanks.

Day 21 of our caching holiday for the MEGA tour of the South Island of NZ. Leaving Akaroa heading for Christchurch today.
Seriously you could not predict this......
Mrs Felix was sent to fetch the cache and sign the log, her turn.....
Off she set with a GPSr that had been more than recalcitrant this morning. Cache located but unable to retrieve (dodgy knees) so she sat down on the bank and fetched the cache and signed the log.
Hmmm thinking of taking a photo for Mr Felix and would you believe a TRUCK pulled up alongside.
So the truckie pulled up to take a phone call and Mrs Felix startled to say the least sprang up beside him, not sure who was more surprised !! Middle of nowhere and muggled!

1512nd cache found by WazzaAndWenches.
Waz and the Wenches are caching from ChCh to Akaroa today.
First stop for the day and a quick and easy find not quite where we expected as we approached. A short walk from where we pulled up.
Thanks richbritty

4686. Doing the Little River Rail Trail today (by mountain bike) so did a few caches nearby. Easy find. Thanks for the cache. Iris and Rodney.
An early morning drive from Christchurch had me in Little River just on sunrise, then spent the morning finding geocaches on the way back home. This cache was number 8 of 13 for today, found nice and simply. TFTC (785)
Found on our way to Akaroa on the scenic route from Lyttelton. That a nice tour ! It was an easy find> Merci pour la cache - Thanks for the cache !
There were some bikers stopped, just far enough away that I could do my business without worrying about them. They were intent on fixing something.
Dont think this is set up as the owner intended - dont think we got the full effect - will contact CO LGM
Could have been my last one in NZ, leaving tomorrow Thanks for that one, not to hard to find
found it but had to use fence hopping to get it. surprised a sheep hadnt nibbled it due to it being out in the open. replaced it by te post.
searched with 2 others and came up with NADA/ZERO/ZIP!

Out in the area with an old scouting friend. Sadly we didn't find Pip's resting spot, only the random pottery that the last cacher also found.
Made my way across the busy road and found not the cache but some form of hand made pottery.

Decided to finally get out and ride the Little River Rail Trail today, especially as there was an exhibition at the Little River gallery that we wanted to see. Took a wayside stop to retrieve this cache. TFTC
This was my next stop on the way to Akaroa. It took me a while to spot it - it had "moved" somewhat from GZ. Some good stretching and I soon had the cache in hand. It is in good condition. TFTC richbritty
#517: Family Pit Stop.
My GeoFamily and I stopped by here on our way to Akaroa on this beautiful September day. GeoSpouse and GeoYoungling #3 made the find. Lots of muggle critters were watching, but they didn't seem to be too distracted from their eating of pasture goodies. Seems like a nice rail trail nearby too. I hope we can try it out too.

TFTC. A great find on a busy road. Just where you would hope it to be. Best wishes to Pip.Note there is no pencil in the cache and also needs new log.
We were heading to birdlings flat to go prospecting so did this one on the way.Thanks.
Small and the paper seemed quite wet - a bit hairy crossing the road to it. TFTC
Nice to stop where one might not normally stop if just to appreciate the desolation of the spot. Easy find, but a bit exposed.
