Found a very likely hidey hole (with the help of the specific hint) but it was devoid of any cache
A truly lovely spot for a lunchtime walk. unfortunately no cache found. Had a thorough poke around but no luck.
tftc was working in the area so went for a nice walk for my lunch break.chasing 30 days consecutive
Have zoomed past here many times on the motorway but never walked the walk. Nice spot for a cache. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Took a little to find 'right' bridge--must follow the instruction. (Have to emphasize that I don't have GPS or smart phone!) After I took sideways from the sealed pathway, found the bridge and the cache was obviously placed. Nice view. Thanks.
What a lovely setting for this "village green''. It's elevated site makes it a secret from passing motorway traffic.
Cache found at 345 quick find wasn't very hidden so I covered it up a bit picked up geocoin tftc
We couldn't leave Dunedin without finding this cache !
TFTC! Nice walk to the cache!
Wasn't very well hidden, we hid it back, how it had to be....

Winter has not been kind to the gravel track - more of a mud track now. Quick find. TFTC
Nice to get this one after not being able to find the "Power of Sudoku" final one. Nice quick easy find.TFTC
Yya finally found the time and the entrance to get this smile. I night find on our way to the races for a school BOT and PTA function ( did not win my millions ) But a great place for a cache as I never knew this was here and enjoyed the wet feet and finding this great cache location. TFTC
With ingidayna and cachemanchris as night was falling, managed to find GZ but also managed to get wet feet in the process. A man with his dog was lurking nearby, but didn't appear to be caching as we were. TFTC:)
TFTC Carried on up the track to Forfar St and returned to the car in Barnes Dr. Lovely bush grove that we didnt even know existed.
I enjoyed the walk to this site. It was easy to forget how close I was to the motorway.
I took The Moose Forest Geocoin and left a plastic moose.

Great cache. Nice location. This was only our second find ever so we were very excited. We live in Dunedin but had never had any reason to explore this wonderful we spot so thank you. Very family and pet friendly.
1:37:00 PM2 Even on a Sunday the motorway hum is loud up here. It was a very pleasant walk into where this is hidden. We need to get home so this one will be all for today..
Thanks HamishJ

No 6th find for the day. With a friend. Very muddy. It looks like they are widening the path for bike riders.
Ta much for this. Some moderate fossicking required indeed. I must have walked past the start of this track so many times without ever noticing it. Great fun to find it and explore the kids track off either side too. TFTC!
Didn't know this track was here...great hide. Good thing I was wearing gumboots, the track was quite muddy. TFTC.
A track I didn't know existed. Took a while to find - I should have read the hint. TFTC
First solo mission using poor man's GPS (the Google Maps app. on my phone). This one took a bit of hunting but got there in the end. TFTC.

Thansk for the lovely walk

Thanks for this. Another little part close to home that i'd have never seen if it weren't for this fun little game..
Bit difficult doing it in the evening but a relatively good hiding spot. We did need the clue
After watching everyone else wander around with GPSr's this morning at the Ten, Ten, Ten, Ten event I needed a little caching time for myself so set off to find some close by. Had been along the main path here before but didn't know the other one existed. Must come back some time and see where it leads to. Thanks for the cache.
A night time walk around the park, and a bit of a hunt a little further than we initially thought turned up the smilie. Cheers Gav [6759]
Sneaky hide on a nice wee pocket of bush I never knew existed; this is why I love caching - getting to experience new and previously unexplored terrain! TFTC
Nice quick find, along the start of what looks to be a nice bush trail. Was here on bicycle, so I didn't hike it. TNLN TFTC.
Found this one with kelly_maree. We didn't have the carpark co-ords and I was unfamiliar with this area, but Kelly's local knowledge put us in good stead. TFTC!
Walk not very pleasant due to the recent rain. Great views from up top though, easy find aswell TFTC.
Instant find this, without the clue. Just saw a likely place, put my hand in, and touched the cache,.

Made this one more difficult than need be without the correct clue. Almost a DNF. Found with Old Boots. TFTC
Nice little track we didn't know about (despite being less than k from home). Tftc
2nd of 3 night cache dashes for the evening. Given that it was night I sneaked a peek at the clue and quickly found the cache. TFTC!

An interesting track with a very different view of Caversham. We could see the large screen at Carisbrook quite clearly and there was a game in progress. We read the Highlanders are playing the Sharks tonight. Not being rugby followers this was news to us.

This track used to be used by A.H.Reed when he walked down from his home in Glenpark Avenue, Maryhill, to visit the old people in Parkside Hospital (where the Balmoral Park infill housing is over the road). He was himself older than most of the "old folk", dying in 1975 aged 99.
The Oamaru stone house you pass on the way here is interesting too- it was built by the Fulton family (who built Lisburn house in 1865), for a family member to live in. Then in 1873 the railway went through and cut the original 10 acre property in two.

A lovely area right beside the motorway, busy yarning as we headed in and saw the bridge ahead so made an assumption, end result was a bit if back tracking.

Hmmm have been driving past here for years, thinking how come there are no caches in there!!!!, must have the final of a puzzle ? hidden there somewhere, well look like that's not the case and the rest of us have been slack, and got beaten to a nice spot by a busy road.
Many Thanks Bitsprayer.
