This was a dnf this morning while it was dark. I'll have to come back when it's day time
Took cuzzies for some geocaching and oldest cuzzie managed to find this one very quickly. TFTC. We left it closed as it was starting to rain.
I am up in Whangarei/Onerahi for Easter weekend visiting the parents and of course, I am going to collect some caches whilst in the area. Out an about in Onerahi very early this morning to grab a few caches. Have had the OC series on my solved puzzles list for a while now waiting for the opportunity to collect.
This one took a little longer to search for and was a little unpleasant with a damp flax to contend with. The log was wet and my pen didn't want to cooperate. TFTC

Sneaky lil cache stepped on the barbed wire in my jandels before I had realised. Tftc & the sore toes
Muggles twice in one day here. I will return tomorrow and see if I can get anywhere
Looked extensively and couldn't find it. Someone may have failed to replace it.
Back on the bike after the rain to look for one quick find tonight. Field was empty, but a couple of muggles were back out on their deck. Luckily was slightly hidden by the flax and didn't take long to locate the barbed wire and hanging cache. Log is very tight inside though.

Fun and easy wee hide here thanks Riser5
Nicely hidden ,,,,and had field to myself ...

Finally!! We have looked for this one a few times now, so the feeling of accomplishment when I finally sighted it was awesome. No pen this time (as we were out walking the dog) but will be back to sign it another day. It's still hanging in its tricky wee hiding place. Thanks for a frustrating but satisfying cache.
Ground floor again but hidden under debris. Left hanging very close. Thanks for the cache
Found it hanging on the ground covered inautum fall good luck more than anything...hung it on wire thanks for the cache
After caching for a couple of hours we decided to stop in at the dairy and enjoy some refreshments at the sports grounds. It was good to come back to where I used to play as a kid for Onerahi rugby. This one was an easy find however the bison had found its way to the ground floor. We logged and placed back as best we could. Bison is hanging low but hidden.
So after having a lazy day I had to grab a cache on my way out to celebrate New Years eve. Already knew where to find the cache from a previous exploit (without a pen)... so kicked off the heals and hiked up my dress. Soon had the cache in hand but I'm sure it would have made for a funny sight if I had been spotted. TFTC.... I will admit caching in a floor length dress is a new one for me
I'm back up in my home town of Whangarei for the holiday period and today joined up with fellow Auckland cacher yorkshirekiwi83 and local caching friends tikitour for a hot summers day of caching around the city. The logs were either signed with our caching names or some combination of the letters T,V & Y for our caching names - depending on who had previously found the caches. A fairly tricky hide this one, but we spotted it soon enough. TFTC!

Decided to finish the year and see in the new year in Whangarei, Vistra and tikitour decided to join me and we spent the time grabbing caches around the region, in some cases it was just one that needed to sign in others it was all three of us, signed as TYV (or combination of those letters) or VY when it was more than 1 of us.
Finding the spot where barbed wire met the beam and we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC

#7011. Onerahi Park was pretty quiet this afternoon. One dog walker came by but soon was on his way. Found after a short search. Nice hide. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Another quick find but good clues helped find this clever hide. Our last cache in Onerahi today. It's been great fun but we're out of time. We'll grab a few more around the New Te Matau a Pohe Bridge as we head home. Thanks for providing all these wonderful caches for us to find, it's much appreciated. Thanks Nick
TFTC. So little! A few muggles in the distance but dove right in. Pretty well screened once you find it.
Passed by this way going here and there caching on a nice warm day. Took me awhile to do this cache which I have to say was a little misleading, cache is definitely not in a bush but on the beam (which is surrounded by bush). Being small it took me ages to spot. But that's alright, caching is like that!
Cache is still there. Hint needs updating to in rather than on but it had been found in that location previously with what is there.
This cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give you, the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance

Today we spent a full day of caching in the Whangarie area followed by a bit of sight seeing.
The caches we found today were all in great areas with wonderfull views of the harbour.
Thanks for placing this cache Riser5
Found! I decided to avenge my DNFs on this cache and try again by changing my point of view. This time it was found in seconds and I am surprised it eluded me so easily. Well placed with good camo. TFTC.
DNF. This cache has been quite elusive. I know that it has great camo and I found the barbwire but no find. I will return.
Found as part of my Post Mega northen road trip. Really enjoyed a part of the country I hadn't seen before. Thanks to all those who have placed cacahes to encourage us southerners to come your way!
I had a bit of trouble getting a good fix on this one, and could have embarrased us a bit as there were a couple of cars in the carpark with muggles in them. Luckily we found the spot and the object before doing that - thanks for the cache.
had to sneak around for this one, a person was sitting in a car right near it. Thanks for the cache
Finished all our weekend meetings in the city now on our way out to Parua Bay to visit the brother and sister in law.
Another one for Mr S, rummaging around under bushes and beams thought he'd found a snail. lol
Very clever camoed cache. Very clever indeed.
Well done Riser5 and another smile face on our trail.

On our way to the airport with a bit of time to spare so knocked this one off on the way tftc
A spot of early morning final caching before the start of the work day, and a long drive back home. This one drove me nutty working by torch light but got there in the end

Second time looking for this one, cannot for the life of us find it! What are we missing??
Sneaky little hide that was harder than we thought it would be. Cache soon located and then off to tackle some of the nearby puzzle caches. TFTC
Sneaky wee hide, spent more time looking for the cache after I dropped it than actually finding the cache itself!
Was in town for the afternoon and this was just a hop, skip and a jump from my Aunty and Uncle's place. Could have walked across the park to get here, but since we were on our way home now, decided to drive. Nice hide. TFTC!!!
Thanks for a clever camo and hide. I needed the hint. I spent a lot less time looking and more time extracting the log sheet, trying and failing to write on it. The plastic paper was dry, but maybe it was greasy.
Finishing off a day of caching at Onerahi today - some great caches up here today! TFTC
I was glad that the grounds were deserted today but this wouldn't have been a problem anyway as I spotted something which didn't look quite right almost instantly. TFTC
Took heed of the information provided and made the suggested approach for a quick find. I must have looked official as I got asked by several passers by if the game was still on. SL TFTC
