Unfortunately the work here hasnt finished and we dont know how long it will take but we believe it will be longer than this is allowed to be disabled. Sad to see it go as it was our first cache placement. It might pop up again somewhere else in the future.

We were in the area today doing cache maintenance so stopped at this one aswell. I was super shocked to see major tree felling, digging up the field and generally stripping the area of anything recognisable. We had to use the GPS to pinpoint the position of the cache and was surprised to find it still there unharmed (apart from water in the cache) under a felled tree.
We will have to do some digging ourselves to see what is happening here and see if the area is still viable for a cache.

I had been wanting to come over caching to Greymouth for a while, since I had never yet been caching further than the West Coast CANZ cache!!
Spur of the moment, a trip was planned, and I decided to head off on Friday after work. However realised we had monthly after work drinks! Ah, stayed for that then, and then left.

Second one, and another simple one. Straight in obvious place

I got a bit distracted by something nearby but after a short hunt soon had it in hand. Loooovely smelling creek that one! Cheers

4 days, 1600 KM's, 0ver 300 caches found, a whirlwind of a road trip,great fun.

4 days of cheap motels, washing back greasy cheseburgers with ice cool 7 Up, of flat tires, great scenery, good weather, good company,riding shot gun, shared driving, speed tickets, mars bars, bottled water, photo ops and finding caches

A quick find while hunting out some Cobden caches before leaving Greymouth this morning. No ducks around for me today. Signed log, TFTC

The GPS was a bit flaky but settled down soon enough. Only after the successful search we managed to find remnants of the ponga. Put to good use though TFTC

We had a short period to find a few caches in the Cobden area this afternoon and this was one of them. A short hunt was needed here but we soon found the remnants of part of the hint item and then the cache which was wet but logbook still ok. Took 2 TBs which are not listed in the inventory. TFTC.

We're NEVER too old to enjoy the magic of Disney ! Thanks for all these Disney themed caches !

Found after getting a fright with the eels in the creek. Hidden well

Found in end didn't see a any punga's near cashe.

Park was deserted apart from a duck family. Cache spotted on arrival as was all the rubbish dumped nearby TFTC.

Training over for the day so Kiwicampnut and I headed out for some finds. #3 for the evening.
A bit of overgrowth here, and the hint object has been truncated.

#400 - Found just on dark by RuruNZ with me in tow. Being bitten alive by the wildlife so signed quickly and left for next cache. Kiwicampnut

After staying over for new year with the campervan, went for a bike ride in Cobden. Easy find. Couldn't really find the punga, but did find the log.

Had a look, I was using the PQ I down loaded on the 23rd Dec, ddint realise it was disabled. found a snaplock bag on the ground and gave up.

I'm starting to lose my confidence! Found what I think fitted the hint but no container for me . Edit: ah, I see it's down. Darnit

My nephew went to show his cousin what geocaching was today, and found my cache thrown about and soaking wet. Will decide within a few days weather to replace with a smaller cont or different location in the same area.

really nice spot that i havent been before, even a duck swimming around, altho at second glance noticed it could only swim with the one leg ... poor thing. thanks for taking us there.

I don't think the ducks were very pleased to see me arrive, for they all took to the skies. I can remember my mother buying Disney comics for my brothers and I. My favourite character was Scrooge McDuck, who was always diving into his pile of money.

Found with JemNZ. Cool area. Loved the stream. Mickey Mouse is the only Disney character worth mentioning. He is cool. He is awesome. He is crazy. I have lots of Mickey stuff but am yet to go to Disneyland to meet him.

Found with Kiwi Explorer. I think Gyro Gearloose the mad inventor has got to be one of my top Disney characters, although I've always had a soft spot for Goofey. TFTC, Biggles.

A quick turn around the block revealed where the entry was. A muggle canine spied on us to start with, but as soon as we got out of the vehicle he took off, and left us to our hunt. Good co-ordinates, and a nice little area. There were a couple of TBs in the cache, but we left them as we're not going far for a few months.

As for Disney characters, well, we're not big cartoon fans, but Nemo was a cute movie (But not sure if he's a Disney character??LOL) Ah well, he's still cute.

Wasn't sure where the access entries were so made a wrong turn before realizing that drivein didn't have a letterbox. In I went and sure enough the cache was soon in hand. TFTC

Just added a few trackables and also a Donald Duck head that I found in an old box, not quite sure what it came off!

Just checking on things as I was already passing. Left a few small swaps for people to trade.

Fast find and although she isnt Disney I am adding the Lisa Simpson TB. As for my fav Disney Character - not many come to mind but I like Sleeping Beauty because she gets to stay in bed all day. TFTC

Good first cache for you Gracie! [^] It was a good find and the co-ordinates are very accurate. There were no other logs in the book, despite someone already logging the FTF. [?] So it's a bit strange.
Our favourite disney character? There are so many...... It will have to be Mickey Mouse. What a legend. His standout performance would have to be the movie Fantasia. Disneys first ever feature length cartoon movie. Oh and remember the TV series, " The Wonderful World of Disney", that used to be on at 5 oclock on channel one? So many great stories and adventures. TFTC and TF reminding us of disney and how it was, " in the old days almost". took simba TB
