WHAT! How is this archived?? WHY
The cache is in excellent condition, and Griffith / surrounds has VERY FEW caches as it is already, losing this one is quite devastating! It is a lovely drive out here and a nice walk up the hill and amongst the rocks! I can't believe I only found this cache 3 days before it was archived, if it didn't take me 4 days to log it I wouldn't have even realised!
Ahhhhhh very sad, thanks for hiding it all those years ago, not sure why it had to be archived as it was in great condition and could have stayed for many more geocachers to enjoy in the future.
Oh well, thanks for bringing me here, so glad I made the decision to find it this trip!

Such a shame that this is no longer available. Glad that we found it whilst it was but just hadn't caught up with our logs. Thanks for the cache.

Like all geocachers, I’m taking the scenic, slow route to Townsville. Along the way we detoured for, amongst many others, this geocache.
This cache marked lunch for the day! After admiring the view, lunch was made, and dinner put on to slow cook!
Thanks for placing the cache malleechick, without hiders the game wouldn’t exist.

After a walk up Mount Brogden this morning before it got too hot, I decided to go for a drive. This cache was one destination on the drive. What a cool little rock ridge just here. Looks like it could be fun driving in this area also.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Found the cache but forgot the pen. Took photo instead. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely location
After spotting at least 4 species in the Cocopara ranges this trip we had to visit this cache. No orchids were found here. But the general area is amazing! We picked the perfect time of year for a visit. Tftc
What a spot! This cache gets my favourite today! No orchids bloomed but definitely going back to explore a bit more and take in the view! (Would love to see some orchids though)! *TFTC!
I started the day by doing the new ‘Locationless Labcaches’ (https://project-gc.com/Home/PGC-AdventureLab?fbclid=IwAR3ZTMW6QWWPQZPrhuRvURy_U2FtJxVeZPAV8a7-HsQnsvsI7orZ_rwqJfk) that were created by Project GC. After making those five finds, I decided on going for a drive. With a few FTF’s up for grabs in and around Griffith plus a couple of other caches which have popped up since the last time I was there, I headed out. I ended up with 12 finds, two DNF’s and a NA. I also enjoyed visiting all the locations that today’s caching took me plus many different hides that made me think in creative ways. TB visit on all found caches and on some of the smaller logbooks/sheets I signed as 23/1 JM. Thank you to all CO’s of the caches I found today for allowing them to bring me and the rest of the caching community much joy. TFTC ‘s even the ones I didn’t find.
Caching in and around Griffith and surrounds we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Loved this location! JamesKomodo and I ventured out for our first night time geocache and it was an amazing view that I couldn't get enough of. TFTC
I was visiting a recently set up banding site at Ungarie for the weekend, and fortunately had Friday off so decided to take a very circuitous route and camp near Rankins Springs to pick up a few caches. The aim was to get 5 cache types in 8 LGAs to beat my record for the latter, and to add some numbers to my total. In the end I got 38 caches with 2 DNFs (only one logged), 7 local government areas (still beat my best) and 2 bonus FTF as well (1 of the DNFs would have been a 3rd - and could have got 2 mores if I had decided to go for a walk). So was pretty happy with that and I would like to thank all the COs for their placement and maintenance.
This used to be my back way into town when I was doing research up at Pulletop NR a bit further up the Rankins Springs Road in the early 1990s. At that stage the huge expanse a grapes had only just been planted - no wonder the blockies in town were struggling to make a dollar. Is a nice patch of bush so pleased to have a quick walk and find the cache - after the last hunt I was pleased someone had put a little marker nearby. Not many flowers out - is a tad dry, but still a nice walk.

Found during an epic long weekend of quality caching around the Riverina with fitzy_1965. Lots of km's covered including some fun wheeling in the beautiful countryside meant for a thoroughly enjoyable trip
After making our way in, it was a quick find for us here [^]
Thanks for the hide, malleechick

18,549. Found during a meander west of Wagga with specimenX.
Day 3 of our trip, and once breakfast was out of the way we continued our wander. This was the next on the list and after driving to within 50m it was a short walk up for the find. More unloved !
Thanks aggysaunt !!

After a short hike up the hill I came across the cache without any trouble. TFTC.
Nice hide and a nice view I think another trip is on the cards to see the orchids in full bloom tftc
On way south I took a slight detour to get to this one
Managed to find a spot to park as the GeoLux had the van hooked up behind
A nice walk up the hill but alas no flowers out at the moment
A quick find as coords were spot on
Thanks aggysaunt TFTC

Grabbed this one on the way to Griffith. A small detour. Came in from the East. A few patches where road has been eroded, but still passable. On the way out to the South, found a puddle & a sign for travellers in the other direction saying "Road Closed". Well got through okay with the 4wd Corolla.
My dad used to ride motorbikes out here when he was a boy so he drove me out here to check it out. Funny thing is he spotted the cache before I did. Guess that counts as his first find. Good experience while I'm back home from university.

We were looking for some caches that took us to interesting places, and this one didn't disappoint . We had a great drive out, looking at the countryside and checking out the facilities at the lake. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
Great find up among the rocks. I found this local while bending over easy parking under a tree.
Wow right at my back door & wot a view my little tackers first geocash find..left a little gift & took a little gift
Loved this location as bush caches are always a favorite of mine. A lovely warm day - too early for snakes - so one could just crash along through the bush with one eye on the great lichen covered inclined rocks and the other on my GPS. Thanks malleechick. I'll come back to this area one day just for a bush walk.
[:(!] Spent the weekend with the grandkids and I had an hour to spare so I ducked out and grabbed this one, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ and located it hiding place and then the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.
I like it
Another one of the list

The only cache on a windy, rainy cold day. We ventured out in the afternoon light after the weather improved a bit and headed out of Griffith to find this cache. Fairly easy find once in the area. Nice spot to visit, TFTC.
A quick and easy find whilst visiting Griffith for the V8 Superboats.

Find #1884.
We headed up here after leaving Griffith at 6pm in the chance of finding a roadside rest spot to camp on the way for the night, we were lucky the old gravel pit was level and had a stone base, we just arrived and the rain came down, So we had our 5 o'clocks in the camper and waited for the rain to abate, 7:30 it had stopped and thought I'll go now in case it raining in the morning. A scrub walk Following Mr Garmin took me up the hill to the location, I searched with torch and located the cache - Yes Nabbed it ! signed the logsheet and returned the cache to his hidey hole and back down to the camper Just B4 the next short shower.
No wildflowers at the moment.
malleechick TFTC.. And a fav point for our experience we had here !

I normally hate em in rocks but this one is quite a treat! Not too many visitors either by the looks of things.even though middle of winter, still dry enough to get the little 2wd up here. Tnln tftc!
Well I bet I could not have picked a worse time to venture out here after the rare rain Griffith has experienced today! I'm glad I made the effort through all the boggy red clay roads that led me here.
The 4B had no probs today though I would not have wanted to be in a 2 wheeler.. What a top spot!
Certainly worth while cache and a favourite for me, the rocky rise that I encountered approaching GZ is beautiful to say the least. Gz was achieved to or at least within 20 metres of..
Thanks so much for bringing me here I won't soon forget this one. Now to return and clean my once white car...

1519. Found with Relish64 on our Narrandera-Ardlethan-Griffith-Darlington Point road trip. A nice little spot and a quick find after a short stroll. No orchids here at this time of year, but the views were worth it. TFTC.
When there are dwarf greenhoods i need to be there.
on my sunday off i need to see these dwarfs and the cache.
Nice hidden,
Malleechick thanks for showing these dwarfs

Updated the swag in the cache and checked that it is all high and dry. There's even the first dwarf greenhoods showing off!! Now's the time to find this one.
The road is in great condition at the moment, the georex went up and down the hill no worries. Found this one on a lap of the block to pass a sunday away. Good cache, even had a play with the yoyo! TNSL TFTC.
No orchids here today - what a pity, I would have loved to have seen them. But I enjoyed the walk, the views and the cache. Thanks.
Easy find once I got there. This is further out of Griffith than it looks on a map. Also took the scenic route back via the dirt roads to Nericon. Thanks for the cache and the nice view.
ADE 11. A fun little clamber amongst the spider webs to get to the rocks that have a cache, great views. Thanks.

I came for the sun-rise views, and I certainly wasn't disappointed! The cache itself was easily found and in great condition. Too bad the orchids weren't on show right now, but I did see
a massive echidna poking around in the undergrowth nearby.

Finally found it after 2 attempts, great view when you walk further up the hill and get out of the scrub
Found on third attempt. Attempt one and two were attempted without GPS, attempt two took us right up the hill far away from where it actually was, but beautiful views up there. Anyway, after being sick of looking without GPS, took a GPS and found it within five minutes. Hooray.
Then went back the next day and found it without GPS.

1193 Found by baby&Mrs gopher as number 10 for the weekend trip out west at 0800.After finding Christmas tree we decided to trust the GPS and followed the arrow straight to the hide. With the walk it was only 20 minutes difference. What a great view at this time of the morning looking into the sunrise and off into the west with sun part way into the sky and the shadows in front.Thank you for the views.SL visited coins. Tnx aggysaunt
Silly GPS had me on the wrong side of the road. Nice spot Aggysaunt.
Weather was perfect. TNLN. Thanks

After finding "Where Once was Water", I braved the "shortest route" option on my GPS to head directly to this cache. As it turned out, all of the roads were quite OK, but I wouldn't have said the same had there been any recent rains. I found a suitable parking spot that was out of the way, and went for the short walk up the hill. Approaching GZ, I was a little apprehensive, as I have a bit of rocky history with caches hidden in rocks (pun completely intended). However my concerns were unfounded, as the Satellites were smiling on me, and the coordinates were spot on, which made for a quick and easy find. Another blank log book, and another *FTF*
Would love to be here when the Orchids are out in bloom, but the view was still great.
Thanks for another great view,
Cheers,
Murf.
