Heading up to Mt Werong for the weekend we stopped here for a quick leg stretch, oh and a cache.

Last time I stopped here my coords had me nowhere near GZ. Its good to see the updated coords have made this one alot easier.

Nice quick find even though our traveling GPS had gone on the blink!
Almost ended up following a track along the river where there was a nice picnic and camping area as was relying on etrex at that stage, however in the end decided we had better keep on the move, and found The Tablelands Way along the road we were on. Smile

Great views from up here. Nice styles for walkers in the paddocks opposite too.

Hey !! I've been cruising the Tablelands Way for the last week or so but no one told me about this informative website until now [:o]
I've missed out on so much, apparently !!

Where was my "herbal steam bath and reflexology treatment " after I had found GC1GYH5 - Gulgong Tour ? Sad
Why didn't I notice the "bold architecture" of Goulburn while sneaking around in the trees behind the piece of Australia’s industrial heritage at the historic Goulburn Brewery looking for GC2FWJW - Local Beer Anyone? cache ?

Oh that's right I've been chasing geocaches Red Face
And I bet I've seen and experienced a lot more adventure, culture, local hospitality and wildlife than the tourists who read these websites Razz

So three cheers for The Geocaching Way.... the best tour guide on the web [^]

Oh here we go ... another echidna wandering through my campsite... damn wildlife... SHOO !!! [:(!]

Even with a hint from Jon and a pretty exhaustive search this one remains a mystery. Pity the phone wouldn't work! Thanks for the hunt JABs. Great location!

Lots of hiding places for caches and snakes. Kept walking on possible cache places in the long grass but only found the cache thank goodness. Thanks for the stops on our drive home.

Another U-turn after reading the hint - we will get home sometime today. We really appreciate the caches along this road as they made the journey home from Canbera very enjoyable. If you want to place a few more for the next trip .... TFTC

Spent a few nervous minutes searching for this cache. The grass is so long and snakes are starting to get about. Fortunately it was a cool day. Found a spot where the grass was trodden down. But couldn't find the cache nearby.

Reperio at 2040. Stopped by here to make this the last find of the night on the way to Dubbo for the weekend. Found the coords to be a little off, but eventually found the right spot.

3253. [font=Comic Sans Ms][green]This one seemed to be around 15m out but that is no issue as there are great views to be had. No wondering today as to how that ridgel line in the distance got it's name - very blue today.

Ditto - You took the reading but near the cache it was not. Left a piece of agate.

Another road side grab with some grat views. GeoDriver overshot this one and I had to run back through the grass to get to GZ - soggy shoes Sad

Still, cache acquired - and the car heater was still on, so shoes dried in no time.

We stopped and had a cup of coffee whilst waiting for the Muggle farmers to finish in the paddock next door. Once they had gone we zeroed in on GZ but turned up empty. Widening our search area by about 20' turned up the cache.

Another great spot to enjoy the view from the Tableland Cachers. TFTC

*FTF* Our whole reason why we didnt hang around in Oberon. We were on the chase for ftfs and knew we were the only people coming this way. Only thing that could beat us was the light, which was going down as we pulled up to this gz. The clouds and rain made it hard work with the gps. So we had to further our search where we made the find TFTC

24-Apr-10
Our fourth *FTF* with mr_roo on our way home from the Oberon Event and as it was getting onto dusk for this one and we thought we may have trouble finding the cache. After searching where we had GZ for a while, we expanded the search area and I came up with a quick find on a nicely hidden cache.
